The Ivy Scouts live in a lush, green forest where there are plenty of places to hide. Their territory spans across the hills where an abandoned railroad is. The old station is where important gatherings are held for the kennel. The Ivy Scouts wear vines of ivy on their bodies and wear it like pride. They will also wear the feathers of the first bird they kill as apart of their graduation ceremony.
The kennel is separated into the four branches: Guardians, Hunters, Whelpers, and the Commanders. The guardians protect the kennel from threats and patrol. They are the largest and strongest and wear ivy around their necks. The Hunters gather food for the kennel and have the best noses. Their ivy is worn around their middles. The Whelpers are healers and the pup-mothers. The healers wear ivy around their tails. Pup-mothers wear ivy around their hearts. Mates are assigned by the Commanders but requests can be submitted to them. The Commanders are the alphas and the heads of all of the branches. They decide what the kennel will do and make all the decisions. They wear ivy atop their head. The head of branches will also wear the ivy of their branch. The Ivy Scouts work like a military base. If another dog wishes to challenge a Commander, a one-on-one duel will take place at the battlegrounds. They care for each other and their allies but will show no mercy to outsiders or enemies.
When a pup comes of age, they will be evaluated to see which branch they will be assigned to. The trainees will be assigned a mentor, chosen by the Commanders. They wear ivy on their front paws. Once training has been completed, the trainees will have to go on a hunt and kill a bird. They can work together or separately to catch one or more. Typically, the trainees try to catch their own bird, but it is not uncommon for them to work together as a team. They get to wear the feathers as a sign of maturity. If the trainees fail to bring a bird, they are kicked out of the kennel.
Omegas wear no ivy as they have shamed their branch. Their feathers are also stripped away as they have shown immature actions to be in the position they are in. Omegas are shunned by the kennel.

Garland trotted around his newly established territory. He wore his leaves on his head like a crown. He was on a mission. Before he could become a powerful alpha, he had to earn his feathers. A small bird would do. The size of the feathers didn't matter to him, it's what they represented that counted. And maybe along the way he could find a potential new member. Time will only tell.

slowly rise from their dens after winter slumber, though not
before the final signs of winter streak through the skies. Snow

Rushing Water Kennel

The dogs:
These dogs have a slightly above agerage aggression, it isn't uncommon for a fight to break out, but major injuries are never done to pack members. This pack doesn't have a to bad of a reputation, and your lucky to fight along side them. They're strong and well put together, each of the dogs have close bonds with each other that not even fights will break. They know how to keep secrets and they're sly, I'd recommend not becoming an enemy.
The dogs in this pack have a large breed diversity.

The camp:
Their camp has a steady flowing river through it, which falls into a small waterfall. The dens are hidden under rocks and a few are dug out for more room. The large rock in the middle is where meetings are held and where the alpha watches over the packs activity. They have a generally large territory that the pack dogs can cover quick. The dogs are often laid out the the swallow part of the river after the waterfall, long haired dogs enjoys this the most as well as pups.
