The cats forced themselves to go back to normal, and started to assign patrols and throw the bunny on the fresh-kill pile. That was until Dapplenose attempted to eat the bunny, and she was killed as she settled down. She fell, and her blood pooled around her neck, soaking the bunny.

Icegaze had slept through the whole thing, and was just waking up. "What happened?" she exclaimed, hurrying out into the clearing. The white she-cat gasped as she saw Dapplednose, hurrying over.

Frogleap spotted Dapplenose as she padded into camp. With a frown, she padded over to the she-cat, digging her nose into Dapplenose's fur. "I'm sorry...I've failed you, my friend..."

Flintstorm stared at Dapplenose's body, gaping. "Dapplenose!" She exclaimed, running over to the she-cat's body. She growled and turned to the cats. "I think you did it, Icegaze!"

Beepaw ran out of the den and cried out, "No! Not again! Not Tawnypaw AND Dapplenose!" He sat at her already cold body and cried. "Why.. Why!? I just want this to end!" He shouted. "Which one of you did it!? Icegaze!?"
