Jaden looks at the people, trying to decide if it's a good idea to try and confront them. As he's weighing the pros and cons inside of his head, Kurama escapes from his pokeball and goes up to the group.

"Kurama wait!" Jaden cries, hoping to reach his pokemon quickly before the group notices them but it's too late.

One of the people has already seen Jaden and his pokemon.

'I guess there's no other option now. I'll just have to go up to them now.' Jaden mutters as he walks over to the group.

"Hey, Dude, there's a rookie trainer here!" One of the guys cry out. "Hey, that's a pokemon we've never seen before!" They look at each Other, then nod. They've Thrown a net over Kurama!

Just as you ask who they are, they revel that they are Team Rocket Grunts. Kurama cries out, trying to get out. Your Pokemon Looks at you, trying to tell you that it has a Plan. "Pi-ichu!" Your Pichu points at the strange grey package.

Alp looks at the Rockruff for a moment. Even with the damage ember did to it, Alp can see that Rockruff is hanging in there and trying it's best. This pokemon is strong. Alp takes the chance and throws a pokeball at Rockruff.

The Pokeball hits the Rockruff, and it fights the ball hard!

But the pokeball clicks shut! You've caught Rockruff!
And it's holding a Hard Stone! Maybe that's why its so tough.

After it gets hit, the Sableye realizes it no longer wants to fight you. It appears that it has run away.

As you turn around you see that it's still following you, just from a great distance behind you.

Jess was actually a little disapponted at first when the Sableye fled. But when she turned around she realized it still followed her.
”Hi there! Did I scare you like you scared me? Come here! I won’t hurt you.” She dat down and grabbed a few berries that was on the side of the trail. ”You want some?”

The grunts look at him, confused and not buying what he's saying.
'Dang it, I have no idea what I'm doing.' Jaden thinks to himself.
"Actually, I have a much cooler Pokemon that you guys should see," Jaden says, hoping that his pokemon would forgive him later for showing it to Team Rocket, "C'mon out Yugi!"

'At least if this doesn't work I can just have Yugi wish us out of this.' Jaden thinks.

"Bra-Braixen!" Kurama has burned the net! The two grunts turned around sharply. "I THOUGHT YOU RE-INFORCED IT!" One of the Grunts yell at the other. "NO, YOU WERE SUPPOST TO!" The other one yells back. Kurama quickly grabbs the grey package.

He runs back. Now what?

Alp is happy to have a new pokemon on her team, and Chimchar seems excited as well. Since Rockruff is in poor condition, Alp runs to the nearest pokecenter to heal her.

The trainer silently cheered to herself as the Voltorb fainted. Mew hadn't taken any damage whatsoever. She was quite pleased with that. After Lt. Surge took out his next Pokemon, Haru decided that she'd switch as well. "Return, Mew! You did amazing!" Haru brought Mew back, and pointed forwards. "Let's go Kusa! It's your time to shine!" Haru smiled brightly. Her Ivysaur jumped out in front of her with a determined look in his eyes.. She waited for Lt. Surge's next move.
