weather could take a turn for a worst today and i worry about my cats… i think it’s also ridiculous that i’m at work when there might be a tornado later but w/e we ball. also worried abt my mom but she seems okay right now (she got dehydrated & overheated on sunday and was sent to the hospital)

It's the end of the day so I'm just about to go to bed. It was alright, I woke up very grumpy and this carried on through most of the afternoon - I felt in a bit of a slump where I had studying to do but I really didn't want to do anything at all. In the end I played some video games with friends, grinded an old mmo I like, and I popped to the secondhand store and bought a new jacket. So the day turned out alright actually, and I did get some studying done just now before bed.
^ I find that sleeping a lot more (like 12hrs) tends to make me feel worse, if that could be it as well. Hope you sleep better tonight.
> My friends and I have been playing board games over discord, however the catch is we're trying to teach the others languages that we know - we did one game in Swedish (my friends' native language), a game in Korean (a language they're learning) and one in French (one that I can reasonably teach). Honestly good fun! Can't say that the phrase "I want to build a red train" is going to be very useful in Sweden, but it gave us some good laughs lol. I'd recommend, especially if you wanna spice up an old game.

i've been playing overwatch 2 again recently, so a lot of the sketches on my ipad are sombra in various poses :))

ooooh thats so cool yall were talking abt languages bc im looking forward to getting my spanish med interpreter certification!!
im doing the 40 hr training course rn while i dogsit ive rly been knocking it out, been on my to do list forever ahaha
but it gives me something "serious" to work for thats not just me procrastinating/messing around ehehe :')
especially bc im moving kinda far away in august so i wanna have it done before then
so i can try to get an interpreting job like as soon as i move bc idk how long thats gonna take w how jobs are rn :/
it would just be in spanish for now but eventually i would like to add other languages under my belt!!

we got some super bad tornadoes in 2021 so now everyone freakssss out when we get tornado type weather

like unwritten rules or habits u personally wish everyone just DOES without having to be told

First I wish people would be kind! there is a big difference btwn being stern and being rude
Secondly I wish people would stop taking what I say as an excuse, I wish they understood I am not choosing to feel a certain way not to go to school or not to interact with them
And lastly I wish so badly people would care even just a little about what's going on around them my classmates are so apatethic about everything especially their education, it makes me sad, I should not have to tell u to listen to someone talking about wars when he is trying to first and foremost educate YOU.

v do you have any particularly memorable teachers growing up?

• i was in this art class when i was like, maybe six, and i was drawing a tree. i kept drawing branches that were coming directly from the trunk of the tree, like this. the teacher said something to the effect of 'why don't you try drawing a branch that comes from behind the branch, almost out of nowhere?' i got quite upset because that didn't make sense to me, and i might have even cried. it wasn't the teacher's fault; i was just a Sensitive Kid kjfshkf
  i don't remember anything else about that teacher, either, but i'm sure she was nice,, it's just unfortunate that's the only interaction with her that sticks out to me
