Tulip and Ilia brought the herbs they found back to camp. Ilia was in charge of two of three while Tulip had the other. It was like she was hiding it from her. She placed the herb delicately on the ground and started to dig. Ilia looked at the strange herb closely.

"What's this herb?" she said, carefully batting it around.
"Don't do that!" Tulip yelled. Ilia stepped a few steps back in shock. "One, you shouldn't handle any herb like that," she explained. "And two, this is a special herb that has disastrous effects."
"What do you mean?" she asked, recovering from the shock.
"I taught you a little about poisons, yes?" she said. Ilia nodded. "This is one of them. Deathberries. We keep them hidden so others can't find it. You never know what someone could be thinking."
"Oh... Why do we keep it here?"
"It's better off here then for some other dog to find it. Now, put those other herbs away," she said. Ilia obeyed and the conversation was dismissed. Tulip looked like she didn't want to talk about it any further, anyway. Although she was a fully fledged shaman now, it seemed she still had a lot to learn.

"Deer traps?" Seria echoed after the patrol told her the news.
"Yes. A whole lot of them," Kierat replied.
"Not that many," Sandy rolled her eyes.
"This is a big concern! Someone could get hurt!" Seria shouted. She stood up high and called for a meeting. The whole kennel was soon gathered. Seria raised her head and begun to talk.
"Everyone, sorry for this sudden meeting but I have received urgent news." Dogs began muttering to each other about what it could be.
"Deer traps have been spotted in our territory," she finally said. The kennel gasped. "As this is obviously dangerous, I would like everyone to avoid them if you come in contact with them. Also, be careful where you're walking. That is all for now." She bowed her head and the meeting was dismissed.

"Deer traps?" Pippa said. "Well, I'm certainly not going out!"
"Oh, come on, I'm sure it will be fine. If you're careful, that is. What, are you clumsy?" Bella smirked.
"No! I'm just not reckless," she scoffed. "Unlike you.
"Hey!" she barked. "I'm not reckless!" Rowan stepped in between them.
"Well, I'm on Bella's side. I don't want to be cooped up in here all day," he said. Bella looked at him with a wide smile. Pippa curled her lip.
"Fine. Don't come crawling to me if something bad happens," she said and then trotted away with her head and tail held high. Rowan turned to Bella.
"Don't listen to her. She's just trying to get on your nerves."
"I-I know that..." she pouted and shyly looked away.
"Anyway, should we go out?" he suggested with a kind smile. Bella nodded and then they ran out to have some fun outdoors.

it had been a couple of days since the raccoon had been caught. the kennel was slowly starting to grow irritable and hungry. The pups, as always were playing in the den, and never seemed to go too far. They would soon need to be promoted to trainees. Regina sighed and shook her coat. She nodded towards hera who was lazing about. "Grab Sasha, Lupus and," She paused, "Circe please. We need to go hunt something bigger. Small animals will not sustain us."

Hera nodded, agreeing with Regina, "True that, but why not Deme? Circe is great but if we are hunting something big, like a deer, we need her size."

Regina sighed, "Yeah I know. But I don't want Circe going on patrol by herself. With Rogue and Angie gaurding camp and the pups I don't think it would be safe for her to be on her own."

Sasha jogged over, "Hey. We hunting?"

Hera leaned into her, "Yes Sash. Regina will fill you in on the situation. I gotta go grab some hunters."

"Sweet!" Sasha said, "Hey, I've been thinking. The reason I assigned Rogue and Angie to gaurd was because I was thinking of promoting them to guard. They work very well together so I think it would be a good decision."

Regina nodded, "I can do that. I like them too so it would be ok with me."

As soon as word revealed that the hunting-patrols were returning, Julian immediately took his post in the House of Gaea, watching through a stone
window. He waited eagerly, these first signs of winter preparation being the factors that would determine their survival; their survival for all —
especially for the young, and the velvets preparing for their young.

A head burst through the undergrowth from the edge of the forest and peered into the gardens, scanning the landscape, then stepped inside.
Following behind them, this face being Javan, was Myra, carrying a limp squirrel in their jaws, and a large grin pulling at their lips. They looked
pretty content with killing this squirrel. The others seemed glad there was food (and that the patrols had returned safely), but Julian held his
breath — would there be more? Then there was Timon, Judith, Ava, and Selah, one carrying a smaller animal, a vole, and one carrying a minuscule
field mouse. This prey was small, but it was something, something more than nothing. However, if they wanted to survive this winter, if they wanted
to survive what Halida is to bring them, then they needed more. The goddess was already striking the kennel with this cool, autumn weather, and
Kemuel had already mentioned that he feared what she was to bring. Was it something they did? Was it something that they were missing? Dogs
began to wonder; what was going on?

As the day went on, all of the patrols had returned except one — the one Felix, the father of Adlia’s pups within her swelling stomach, was among.
When they were back, Julian knew that they would have to begin the Autumn Celebration, a bittersweet type of ceremony that many didn’t look
forward to. It wasn’t that they hated it, or that they hated the time of year (it is a much easier time to endure than the heat of summer); it was
that this ceremony was to prepare for the hard times of winter and what was to come of it, which not many were ready for. At least they were
together and safe, for the most part, and the abundance of prey was relieving as well. Something at the pit of Julian’s stomach just made him...
unnerved.

It was dark, most having retreated to their dens, when a group of dogs was sounded cheering loudly as they burst into the gardens. One, Shelomi,
raced toward the front of the group and split off of their path as the others trampled the vegetation in a beeline to Kos. The lanky fae padded up
moss-covered stairs to a stone tower, each slab laid horizontally in rows and rows upon rows to create a structure. When she burst through a
weathered wooden door, barely skimming the splinters and cracks of the hole entryway, she sped toward a sleeping body atop a bed of down and
lambs-ear leaves. Carley nudging the body, panting, she waited patiently for them to stir. “Chancellor, sir, please, this is important!” She rushed.
When he first heard these words, the male thought someone had been horribly injured, or possibly died. But, little did he know, this ‘urgent news’
was not anything bad, or horribly devastating— it was good news.

“What happened?” The stabyhoun replied smoothly, voice gravely from sleep as he rose onto his paws. “Has something gone wrong?” He questioned.
His eyes explored the rather… attractive female, but he didn’t let his expression give away his gawking over her— plus, how could he resist; she
came in there all excited, nuzzling her nose into his coat in the middle of a dark, peaceful night. Still, he was worried about the news that she had
yet to say, as she stood there flustered and panting still. “We scented a herd.” She voiced. The male’s lips cracked into an instant grin, eyes
sparkling with joy. “Deer?” He asked. She nodded immediately in response. Julian could barely compose his excitement; could this be a sign of an
easy winter? Could it be the sign of their survival? “Here is what I want you to do;” The stabyhoun began, meeting her excited gaze — grinning from
one amber eye to the other. “Wake Milea and tell her that she and her hunting-party need to head out and find that herd — in whichever direction
they were — and tell them they must only return with a deer in tow.” Shelomi nodded eagerly, then tilted her head to the side in equal excitement.
“May I join them?” She asked.

The brute sat and considered her question for a moment, before he then replied. “You May guide the hunting-party toward the source. If they need
your help, then you help them, but I am sure they will know what to do.” Shelomi nodded, turning to leave, when then Julian piped up with a
flustering statement. “You should come visit me like this more.” With that, Shelomi twisted around with a wink and then left, eager to find the deer.
For Julian, he was eager to see the borzoi more often.

☆ autumn────summer is now officially over, and the breezes of autumn finally see
p in.. it is now more bitter in atmosphere and cooler, but not as freezing as the gra
sps of winter.... kennels should prioritize important matters first, such as gathering
freshkill for their members and stocking up on herbs before the overbearing snows
take over. pup birth is still active, but not as it was during the summer and spring..
proper safety and assistance should be used during whelping or there will be death.

Mod Notes: oof so many german shepherds xD

Nike padded around the dusty buildings that made up the city. She made sure they remained on the outskirts, as to not disturb the humans. They? Ah, right, the weird dog that had approached her after the gathering. He wanted to find the tundra. Nike had just laughed, regreting to inform him how desperately far they were from the snowy plains of the North. The dog, Hayes as he called himself, had just sighed and asked to stay with the Underdogs before making his lengthy trip. Nike, filled with sympathy for the poor fellow, had agreed. Now, they were trotting across the sandy hills, making their way to the camp. Hayes blended well with the surroundings. He would be a good hunter. Nike tilted her head, thinking about what his new rank would be. Perhaps if he proved her right, she would promote him to the North Sargent, the dog in charge of the hunting parties. But he would have to show himself worthy of being a part of her pack, so he would start out as a hunter. "Are we almost there yet?" Hayes asked, his thick accent making it somewhat hard to understand. After comprehending his words, the leader nodded at the grey building that was small in the distance. "If we keep moving, we'll get there by sunset." She answered. The sun was already hanging low, so it wouldn't be too long. Suddenly, Nike stopped.

"I thought you said to keep moving" Hayes teased playfully. Nike didn't speak, just swished her tail to hush him. Her eyes were glued to a dried out bush about two dog-lengths away. It rustled, but there was no wind. The air was still and humid, as it always was. No, something was behind it. Nike took a step forward, but Hayes stopped her. He jerked his head to the side of the bush. Nike was confused at first, but then understood what he was saying. The brute would go up behind the bush and chase it at Nike, enabling her to catch it. She nodded and her companion slunk off, keeping surprisingly low to the ground. He would make a good hunter. Hayes slowly crept to the bush, then bunched his muscles and sprang. He landed squarely on his target, crushing it. A figure darted out, crashing right into Nike. The two tussled, teeth gnashing and growls loud. But eventually, the dust settled and Nike stared down. "M-Mako?" She muttered, eyes widening. "Nike!" The dog shouted. Nike smiled and let out a laugh. "What are you doing here?" She barked happily, releasing Mako from her grip. The German Shepherds stood together, nuzzling and wagging their tails frantically. "I was just going to check out the old base! I'm starving out here and could really use some shelter!" He explained "You?" Nike smiled. "Well, sorry, but I beat you to it! I found the tunnels! They're still intact and I made a group!" Nike exclaimed. "Wow!" Mako said, clearly approving of his friend's position "The alpha, huh? Last time I saw you you were just a wannabe warrior!" Nike pushed him playfully. "Perks of establishment." She remarked "You know, we have an admiral spot open...if you're interested!" Mako nodded. "Of course! I'd be honored!" He accepted, following Nike over to Hayes. "You know him?" He asked. "Woah, you don't sound like you're from around here." Mako pointed out. "I'm not." Hayes confirmed pointedly. Nike rolled her eyes. "It's alright, Hayes." She assured him "This is Mako. We trained together as war dogs! We've been friends since we were pups." Mako's face took a sly form. "Just friends?" He pressed "I think I remember a certain someone confessing something to me..." Nike blushed heavily and looked down. "T-that was a long time ago..." She murmured. "Uhuh." Mako teased. Nike shook out her pelt. "Whatever!" She sighed "Let's go before it gets dark." Without another word, the alpha led the two brutes up to their new home.

Adolpha gives birth to seven puppies! Sadly during birthing Adolpha passes away along with two of her pups being stillborn. One has complications with breathing and will need x1 Juniper berry. Lastly there is a runt.
