I am a huge fan of natural designs, and this character just ticks off all the boxes. It is natural yet original, and I love how much work you've put into him! I say, treasure him!

Species: Southern Ikplet
Age: 8.5 months
Personality: Lacey is a lady, with class. She may be kind and gentle but Lacey hides a quicksilver tongue and a sharp mind. She is able to say her own views with such subtly and tact that the other never notices the insult she hid beneath it. As well as being a smart and witty ikplet, Lacey is also a profound fibber, frequently fibbing for no reason other then for the sake of it. Joy, on the other hand is quite meek and mild, often resorting to being passive aggressive in the most.

hmm Although I do understand (maybe ;w; ) by assuming the name Minty. That they might have colors around the mint idea. But I feel like the main color just doesn't work with the green, or really how you placed the green. I also am not a huge fan of how dark the green is ;w; 5/10

4/10, One of the main things that is really throwing me off of this character is the color of the green, it is just much too dark and clashing with the rest of the palette, it doesn't flow or connect; especially seeing as how the name of the character is "Minty", originally giving me the impression that it was supposed to be more mint colored. I am also not a fan of the pupil-less eyes, however, I am not sure if that is just a style thing or not so I am not going to include that in my rating calculations. ;; My suggestions would be to, make a different pose for your little charrie there, as maybe a part of my low rating is being unable to see the entire back portion - which may hide some really cool design! Also, perhaps incorporate the green further into the rest of the design so it doesn't seem so blocky, and lighten it up a little bit? Maybe make the eyes a similar/different color as well? All in all, it's not a bad charrie, just not my type of charrie at this moment. ;;

6/10, Ah, I am personally, not really a fan of anthro characters, especially with high social and human intelligence, without some sort of explanation as to how they got that way. However, I really do like the palette colors chosen, they flow really well together and I thought I'd dislike the blue at first, but it really actually works. Perhaps the hair covering almost the entire face though, is a bit off putting to me though. we don't get to see eyes, facial marking, etc. It also makes no sense to me to have the glasses, but have them covered by the hair? How would the poor little guy see? ;; My only suggestions are to maybe show different hairstyles, along with the clothing options? And maybe incorporate more of that blue through accessories? I do really like his ears though, by the way, I feel as though they fit his personality and his entire image. I love that you picked those floppy ears over pricked. ^^
It's not a bad charrie, don't get me wrong, I just have questions and its just not my type of charrie. ;;

A little about the species if you're curious (And so the tail makes sense ) ;
They are called Silkies for the obvious reason that their tails produce rather thick silk; this is due to the fact that since they were once a bird species, their 'Fur' is still rather downy and therefore does not 'thicken/fluff up' in the winter as most mammals would. Using this silk and their prehensile tails, they are able to wrap themselves up for warmth. Their tails are only really found in three forms, wrapped up, hung loose (but VERY well kept) or "Curly". If a Silkie is found with messy/uncared for silk, they are most likely very very sick.
Silkies have auditory control issues, so whenever they take a full step/hop (unless they have something in their mouth), they make a "nom" sound. They also communicate through chirps, chattering, and other various clicking sounds; much like budgies. They are notorious head bobbers and were once originally a bird species; but have since evolved, their only remaining bird like features are their sloping heads and middle arms. Those arms used to be wings but are now mostly used for balance, given their longer bodies and extremely flexible spine, it tends to hurt their backs to reach up/over to obtain/hold the foods they like to eat (various berries, seeds, nuts, etc. They adore Millet.) without some form of support, so, the middle arms provide them support from the ground whether they are reaching around, holding something, or simply so they can rest.
Their 'fur' is really soft and downy, sometimes feathery in some areas such as their ears. (I don't explain well, oops. )
