amberstar yawned, padding out of her den. she passed brambletail's den where he was sorting through herbs. "i'm patrolling the north border." when brambletail nodded in acknowledgment, amberstar made way for the camp entrance. she picked up speed and she headed in the direction of wishclan's north border; a fire had occurred and the whole area past the north border was burnt forest. amberstar had picked up stale scents of unknown cats along the border, but she had no idea if they came from rogues or another clan.

Dapplefeather slowly pads up to Gingerflash. "I'm sorry." she mews, "but we can't be together. We can't risk you being demoted!"

Tigerwing is angry that Ravenstrike was chosen but asked him to go hunting with him... to talk.
Ravenstrike was surprised but said yes.
There was an awkward silence as they walked and Tigerwing was getting impatient.
He couldn't help it.
He suddenly leapt onto the scruffy black cat and crunched his claws over his spine. Ravenwing collapsed with a agonied wail and lay still. Tigerwing glared at him and threw him into the stream, burying him under the sandy floor. He washed his paws of blood and came back to camp. "Ravenstrike's been taken by twolegs! He yowled.

Everyone stared at the new black cat. Ripplestar stepped forward. "What's your name?"
"My name's Tui,"
"Thhen from this day on, you shall be known as-"
"Tui. I'll be known as Tui." The black cat locked a glare at her new leader.
Ripplestar dipped his head. "Very well... Tui."

More annoyed by the fact that they hadn't found the rogue than angry, Toadstorm had given Cherrythroat the task of getting Flickerfang and patrolling the borders - if anyone was going to find that rogue, it would be one of them. So Cherrythroat had leapt at the opportunity to lead the morning's border patrol, smiling cheerily at the deputy's joy that one of the newcomers was taking responsibility. She swiped Flickerfang on the way out of camp, who tapped her shoulder with his tail and murmured the name of a clan cat; Pigeontail. Apparently he'd been spending time with the younger molly and thought her loyalties could be turned. With a quiet praise, the torbie sent him to fetch her.

A few short minutes later, Flickerfang was laughing quietly with a fluffy gray molly who looked more than a little interested in what he had to say. Something shone in her eyes that gave dangerous leeway to tip the she-cat's heart. She'd have to report that to Toadstorm. While the sight curdled her stomach, Cherrythroat forced amusement into her eyes and a quiet laugh to her tongue. "We've got a lot of walking to do, hurry up you two!" She chirped, flicking her tail at the pair and heading out. She could hear them laughing and talking for the duration of the patrol.

Wheezy rattling gasps filled the large cavern, echoing off the walls eerily. The sound reverberated inside Branchclaw's head. Heavy steps of waterlogged paws splashed in small puddles that were left from the earlier rainfall. Finally the tom could take no more - burdened with his greif, and with exhaustion pressing down on all side's of him... he collapsed. Branchclaw moaned in agony as the burns on his side blazed with fury at the hard impact on the stone surface. It took all his strength not to give up right there and then on the cold stone floor as the howling winds picked up and unleashed the fury of Starclan from the skies. It would just be so easy to give up... to give into the temptation of closing his eyes and welcoming the warm embrace of eternal rest. The temptation was just to strong. Heavy eyelid blinked - closing for a prolonged period of time. Branchclaw felt himself drifting... drifting towards that warm embrace beckoning him to come closer... "NO!" Branchclaw felt himself jolted awake, his eye flashing as a large roar of thunder and clash of lightning hit far to close to home. The jolt was all the tom needed to encourage him to get up. As he did, he felt a strong unquestionable draw to move deeper into the caves. And by the looks of the rain pouring through the mouth of the cave, it was definitely the right move to make. Waking forward in an almost trace like state the grey & white tom darkened with soot pushed through - all his thoughts of giving up vanished from his mind, as did the pain that was once present with each step. In fact all the pain in his body seemed muted - not even his burns flared up as his sides brushed against the cold stone walls. However as soon as he entered a strangely lit cavern whatever trance he was under was lifted in a flash, all his previous pain came rushing to him full force. Branchclaw yowled in agony as he was forced into a crumpled lump on the floor. His paw falling into a pool of some sort of liquid. Eyes teary with pain, he looked through blurred vision to see his paw submerged in a glowing mysterious pool of water. Looking for the source of the odd lighting he glanced up and was shocked to see millions of glowworms clinging to the ceiling. "Starclan..." He whispered, too overcome with his wonderment to realize his breaths were once again becoming ragged, and forced. Branchclaw let out a violent cough, his whole body shaking with the force. "Oh Starclan help me... I hung on for far too long to die now... I-I refuse to give up-" More coughs rattled his dying frame. "-B-but If... if I must die... I have one last wish. P-please let there be someone- anyone! To have survived that fire.. send them here, m-maybe they can start something that I could not in my final moments. Let them be strong - a warrior in their own right, someone who can help raise this clan up from the ground. A clan that should be named Mossclan - A-after the great and fair leader Moss-star, she died far to young." As his last words flowed from his mouth, so did his last breath. Eyes drooping he proudly embraced the warmth that was stretching out to great him. "I'll be with you soon... Moss-star."

Looking across the clearing, Sootfur started throwing out patrols. "Drysun, you'll be joining Snowcloud on a border patrol, Rockstar wants us to start cracking down on any rogue or clan cat we see if they're not wanting to join." He flicked his gaze over to Fidgetspice. He had a distaste for the silent tom, but kept a mature atmosphere as he had to up-hold his relation as deputy. "Take your apprentice for some training, you've been falling behind with him. I know you just became a father, but that's no excuse." He knew for a fact that Fidgetspice hasn't even looked at his kits once, he wasn't even sure if they knew that he was their father... Sootfur put those thoughts to the back of his mind, going towards the back of the cave to see the five kits of the clan before he went on his lone patrol. "Hellooo, little wolf warriors!" He said to the kits, seeing their eyes light up as he visited them. Swankit stepped up, seemingly irritated aura around him. "Sootfur, Sootfur! Tell Burningkit that she can't be a warrior, only toms can!" Burningkit hissed at her brother, flicking her stick of a tail. "Shut up, Swankit! He's just a mouse-brained moron, right, Sootfur??" The deputy was a little taken aback by the tom's comment, even seeing Sheepflower's angered look at him. However, he kept a composed look on his face. "Why do you think that, Swankit?" The deputy questioned lightly. "Well, I mean, the only warriors are Fidgetspice and uncle. Then there's Drysun, but she doesn't count, she's not made to be a medicine cat or a queen like mother!" He argued. Sheepflower stood up, snapping at the kit as he insulted the queen's friend. "Swankit, you will apologize for what you said right now! She-cats can and are warriors, you'll find yourself not being a warrior if you keep up that thinking, I will not allow it!" She scolded loudly, making the white kit embarrassed and his ego broken. "Y-Yes mother... I'm sorry Burningkit, I'm sorry Sootfur..." He mumbled, his head hung low. As Sootfur could see the apologetic look in Sheepflower's gaze as well, the deputy dipped his head to her and made his way for his hunting.

Rockstar had left camp early that morning, making his way for the moonpool. He had told Sootfur on what he wanted with the patrols late last night, knowing he could handle the clan on his own for a little. As he trekked over the waterfall, going off towards the direction of the Starclan area, the rocks by the Falling Voices. He lingered for a moment, but continued to trot across. However, with the wet stones, Rockstar wasn't used to the slippery surface. He miss calculated his step, cracking his head upon a stone, blacking out... ... ... When the smokey black tom finally woke up, his body felt cold still and his head wound was already drying up. He felt dizzy, but cleaned his wound in the waterfall. He knew what had happened, he had lost one of his Starclan given lives... However, he couldn't seem weak in front of his clan mates, so he moved on. A little weakened by the event, but he washed the blood off the rocks and continued with what he intended to do, knowing he would end up coming back late.

Drysun flicked her large ears, hearing Swankit's loud comments from all the way from where she was sitting. "Not queen material...? So I wont have kits of my own...?" She muttered to herself, looking down at the ground worriedly. However, her thoughts were cut off by the fluffy white tom to comfort her. "Don't worry about him, Drysun. He's just doesn't know right now, it's nothing against you... C'mon, let's go check out the borders, like the warriors we are!" He persuaded, making the she-cat feel a little better. Snowcloud may not be exactly like his sister, but Drysun could appreciate their similarities of kindness.

Russetstar was woken by a frustrated growl in his ear. He blearily opened his eyes to see Honeycreek trying to lay in a comfortable fashion. She growled again as her swollen belly blocked her legs from entirely tucking under her belly. She glared at him as he hid a chuckle.
"You'd have better be thankful that you aren't the one with the kicking kits in their belly." She sat up with a huff, her ears pressed back.
"I am for sure." He replied back before standing beside her and licking her shoulder. It was still dark out side and Willowflight's snoring could be heard faintly from the other side of camp. One end of the sky began brightening above the intertwining branches of the trees above.

Russetstar left his den soon after Honeycreek had fallen asleep in the leader's den and headed down the soft slope that lead up to it. The flowers in the camp were now in full bloom, their vibrant color sticking out sharply from the rich soil beneath them. Willowflight waited in the warriors den, cleaning herself.
"Willowflight!" He called, stopping at the entrance of the camp. She looked up, her tongue still sticking partially out.
"Yesh?" She answered, bringing her tongue back into her mouth.
"Do you want to accompany me to the moon pool?" He asked. Her eyes lit up and she quickly sprinted over to him.
"Of course! I've always heard of that place and have dreamed of going there!" Russetstar smiled at her eagerness.

i am still not really feeling overly inventive, so i am just going to make a list of what the clan did.

Blackmouth awoke early the next morning, wanting to find the stinking animals and get this nasty trip over with. She searched high and low for them, all over the place, and could not find them. She saw hide nor hair of them all day. Finally, when she decided to just give up her search and head home, there was a sound from the trees.

"You find nothing that you seek, you must let them come to you." The shrill voice chastised her as a small bird hopped down the branches to where Blackmouth was sitting.

Blackmouth looked up at it and glared, "What would you know, you are just a dumb bird!"

"Dumb bird speak cat?" a gruff voice said from behind her.

Blackmouth whirled around and was staring into the face of a raccoon. These must be the two that were to make her collar.

"Can we just get on with this, I want to go home." Blackmouth hissed at her as her claws drew large lines in the earth.

"You are not a very patient one, are you?" Anna said from the branch above Blackmouth, "The others were much more palatable. You are also falling behind it seems."

Blackmouth gaped, she was not the first one here. She hissed under her breath and lept at the bird.

"Just give it to me so I can leave!" She snarled.

"Here, for you." Tori said as she handed her the already made collar, "You will meet your by a heart as hollow as your head. Spells and riddles with undo you, and family will no longer be as it seems."

Anna landed back on the branch again, staying out of Blackmouth's reach this time.

"Your plans will come to fruition, and all will be as it should be. Go forth and brace yourself for the same fate that has befallen many before you, and that will befall many after you." The bird said prophetically as Tori hooked her collar around her neck.

Blackmouth scoffed and headed towards home. The words of the two animals set an uneasy feeling in her stomach, and they were not something she would forget any time soon.

Clan Tradition:
When an apprentice is ready to become a warrior, they shall make a one week trip to visit Tori and Anna, a raccoon and magpie respectively, that shall make their Clan Collar. If they succeed then they shall be welcomed back to the clan as a full warrior, if they do not then they will have to train for an additional moon before they are able to try again.

Tinyfeather woke, a smile on her face. She was going to do it today. She was going to ask Dustfall that one little question that had been troubling her day and night. Trotting out of the warriors' den, she began her search for the tom. With a frown, she noticed that he wasn't in the camp. Could he be out on a patrol? As she looked around, she spotted Ashenclaw still organizing them. StarClan, where is he? Suddenly she remembered she hadn't even checked if he was still sleeping. Chuckling at herself, she padded quickly back into the den, spying the brown-and-white warrior curled up in a corner. She silently crept up to him, then whispered loudly in his ear, "Dustfall!" He jerked his head up, sputtering with surprise. "Wh ... wh-what are you doing?.." Tinyfeather laughed. "Good morning, sleepyhead! Come on, I want to talk to you before Ashenclaw assigns us to a patrol." "Why? About what?" the tom asked groggily, getting to his paws. "Can't tell you yet. It's a surprise!" Tinyfeather mewed as she leapt out of the den, Dustfall close behind her, and began to lead him out of the camp. "Wait, why are we leaving? Can't you ask me in the camp?" The she-cat only shook her head, a wide grin on her face. Now this got Dustfall thinking. Was she really ... going to ask him that question? His heart pounded loudly in his chest. Finally Tinyfeather stopped at the edge of the forest where the meadow began. The fields were full of vibrant flowers. "Isn't it so pretty?" Tinyfeather sighed. Dustfall thought a moment. "Not as pretty as you," he murmured, surprising himself that he was actually able to get it out. She turned her head toward him, her eyes wide. They both were silent before she whispered, "Dustfall?" "Yes?" he whispered back. The two of them held their breath. "Will you be my mate?" her voice quavered, but she said it. Dustfall's face lit up, and he leaned forward to lick her cheek. "Of course I will."

"Hey Stormbreeze, do you know where Dustfall and Tinyfeather are?" Ashenclaw asked, annoyed that he couldn't find the two warriors. "I think I saw them leave camp. I don't know what they're doing, though." The deputy let out a frustrated sigh. "Alright then," he muttered. "I just sent out the hunting patrol, so do you want to help me look for the kittypet I spotted yesterday?" "Sure!" Stormbreeze meowed, always up for an adventure of any sort. He wondered if the kittypet was one of the hostile ones or one of the soft ones as they trotted out of the camp. Ashenclaw, however, was ticked off that he had caught sent of the kittypet. He had been wanting to see Sheepclaw, but instead had had to report back to camp. He could only hope to spot her at the border today and be able to send Stormbreeze back with the kittypet.

"Honeydapple?" Emberstar called, poking her head out of the nursery, too afraid to actually leave her kits alone with Frigidrose. The light ginger tabby came trotting over, a smile on her face. "Yes? What can I do for you?" "I was hoping you wouldn't mind watching my kits while I'm at the Moonpool. I've been needing to stretch my legs for a while, plus it's time a pay StarClan a visit again." Honeydapple nodded eagerly, happy to be taking care of kits again. She quickly padded into the nursery as the leader left, and she was suddenly reminded of the hostile Frigidrose inside. Upon seeing her, the silver tabby queen let out a soft hiss as she swiftly led her kits out of the den. "Mama? Why are we leaving the nursery?" Cinderkit mewed quietly. "Because I say so." Breezekit was quite puzzled at this. Her mother had not let them even mention leaving the nursery since Shadekit's death, and now she was taking them outside herself just because she didn't like Honeydapple? Breezekit couldn't help but think how spiteful Frigidrose was.

Willowcloud had just left the medicine den to speak with Emberstar when she spotted her heading out of camp. She bounded to catch up with her. "Emberstar!" The leader turned around, a smile appearing on her face at the sight of her friend. "Willowcloud, how are you doing?" The medicine cat returned the smile. "Just fine, thank you. I was wanting to speak with you for just a moment - about Applepaw." Emberstar nodded. "Of course. Is everything alright?" "Yes, yes! He has learned so much and he just keeps getting older and older - I thought it would be good to give him his full name now. Are you okay with that?" The leader chuckled. "Yes, Willowcloud, that's fantastic. He will be happy, I'm sure." Willowcloud's grin grew wider. "Oh, thank you! He certainly will be!" With a flick of her tail as farewell, she trotted back to her den.

The leader stepped into the cave, making her way to the water's edge and crouching before it, lapping at the cool water. "Hello, StarClan," she began, murmuring softly, "Hello Shadekit," before continuing. "I have come to you today to ask for another cat to join LeafClan. Ever since we lost our little Shadekit, nothing has been the same. It seems almost no one can see the flowers beginning to bloom, but only a bleak, dismal sky with the coming rains. Please send a queen so that her kits might help to put smiles on the faces of my Clan-mates." Little did she know that another she-cat would soon be expecting kits.

Next Moonstone Visit: 3/13/17

Pearlstar eagerly hustled over to Pebbletrail and the mysterious long haired cat. Oh, please, please let them want to join our clan! SandClan could benefit so much for all of it's growing and new warriors, no matter what rank they are. Upon coming closer, she realized that the cat was a tom, quite big and much more muscular than the current cats whom were apart of SandClan, including herself.

"Hello, Pebbletrail, I'm back. Who is this?" Pearlstar asked with a flick of her tail towards the newcomer, though she had a slight guess that this was the cat sent from StarClan for her.

"This," Pebbletrail spoke with a slight huff, "Is the most flirty and dramatic cat you could ever imagine!" he finished with a flick of an ear.

A surprised and shocked look passed over Pearlstar's face. Would this mean that he wouldn't want to join the clan? Why would StarClan send her a false cat...Unless they still didn't fully forgive her. Forcing herself not to unsheathe her claws at the thought of it, she put on a falsely smile and flicked her eyes between her deputy and the newcomer. "Oh, I'm sure he's not that bad! So, what interest do you have with our clan, wanting to join, perhaps?" she asked with a pleading look in her eye.

"Well, maybe. See, I came over here originally when I heard some odd cats were out on these here islands. Of course, wanting to prove the theory, and prove that I wasn't chicken, I came out here to investigate. Once I saw you, I planned to leave," the stranger explained, using many motions to emphasis his talking, "But then I saw a beautiful she-cat. I tried to follow her back here, but I tripped and cut myself on the stone. She must of heard me, she came back in a rush. Then, saying something about how she wasn't trained for this yet, I think? Anyways, she patched me up and offered me to stay here for a while. Overall, I have to say this is a pretty nice place, however some of the dens could use some patching up." he finished, looking disapprovingly at the nursery and warriors' den.

Shocked, Pearlstar turned to the places he pointed out. Oh, there was some gaps...How in the world did he spot them? "Oh, I can get those fixed up right away! Webtuft paced anxiously in her den. Why in the world would the tom be so flirty to her, they just met? Maybe it was because she fixed his cut, or something like that. "Please, don't hurt me," whimpered the familiar voice. No, no, no, not this again! Sunshadow wanted to scream, but his jaws wouldn't move. He glanced down to see the white cat struggling under his claws, his amber eyes wide with fear. Sunshadow didn't reply, he simply raked his claws down the tom's shoulder. He was rocked by a wave of nausea, sickened by his own actions. But it was like some demonic outer force was controlling Sunshadow, and he was powerless to stop it. The white warrior yowled in pain. "Yowl all you want. There's nobody around to hear your screams," Sunshadow said, in a voice that was his own but yet it sounded eerie and possessed.

Sunshadow woke up with a start, his heart racing. Why do I keep having that nightmare? He wondered. There were only two cats he currently knew with white pelts and amber eyes, Whitewhisker and Appleclaw. He had nothing against Whitewhisker, and though he wasn't very fond of Appleclaw he would never go so far as to kill him. The ginger tabby sighed, glancing over at Appleclaw's sleeping figure in the dark. It was just a dream, he told himself. It was just a dream.

"I'm fine, Whitewhisker, really," Ivystar complained, as her mate wove pine branches into the walls of the nursery for what seemed like the thousandth time. "I don't want you or our kits to be cold," he explained again. Ivystar sighed. "Then at least let me help you," she said, rising to her paws. Whitewhisker's eyes flashed with alarm. "No! You need to rest," he insisted. Ivystar snorted, staring at him defiantly. "I just want you to be safe," he murmured, resting his tail on her back. Ivystar purred. "Great StarClan, Whitewhisker. Fine, fortify my den. Hey Brightsky, could you get me some fresh-kill?" she asked, spotting the young she-cat across the camp. "Of course!" Brightsky shouted, quickly fetching Ivystar a squirrel. "I love being a queen. Everyone is so happy to do my bidding," Ivystar joked, after Brightsky was out of hearing range. "Feeling okay, Ivystar?" Buzzardflight asked, padding up to the couple. "I'm fine," she said exasperatedly. "I'm trying to help. But if you don't want my help, have fun delivering those kits by yourself," Buzzardflight retorted. Ivystar glared at him. "I am your leader, remember, watch your tongue. But thanks, I suppose," she replied. "That's what I thought," Buzzardflight said, turning to go collect herbs. "Who ruffled his pelt?" Ivystar grumbled. Whitewhisker nuzzled her cheek. "He's always like that," he replied
