Spring has past and Summer has come, bringing the heat with it. During this time the search and demand for water is high, attracting plenty of prey but also other predators. Make sure your prides have access to a reliable source of water and be caution on patrols as heat strokes and dehydration can happen more often.

This pride is lead by a male who is the leader of the pride, along with the maximum of three sub-males who may be replaced several times. Sub-males tend to be at least three years old.The lionesses and cubs are the backbones of the pride, they create and found new generations and youth. Lionesses follow the king and sub males, however usually dislike following orders. Male and female cubs stay in this specific pride for life, however to become a submale they must fight a current one or become three years old.
HOWEVER, males found on patrol may stay for 12 months as a 'lioness', being called a 'lion,' they resume the same rank. This gives new blood to the pride for if they get a mate. If they prove useful they can stay for another 12 months, but after that must either fight for a submale position or leave. All lionesses can hunt or patrol, depending on what is needed.
Like a normal pride, new kings will murder cubs sired from the defeated king or from submales (making them free game for reuse). Since this pride is new, the male that founds this pride will not have any cubs to kill!

The territory is a savannah land, with a river slicing through the terrain like a knife. Trees overlook the camp, providing shade. The camp is a rough, large dip in the ground where several rocks and bushes make up dens. There is a cave to store uneaten food, as well as bones and feathers as toys for stronger cubs and adolescent or adults that need to play with them.

The Scarred follow a god named Fang. This god provides food for the pride, new lions, and assistance.

Common Personalities
Most lions are 'evil' lions, rough with each other, cold, etc. Elder lionesses and lions are driven out as becoming useless, adding to the cold behavior. Some lions found are the complete opposite, though some may get the cold behavior eventually. However, this may change as kings transition!

The Pride of many Stars live in a small Jungle, in the middle of a Desert, the Pride is ruled by its Mane, the strongest Male Lion of the Pride, it may be challenged by any other Male of at least 20 Moons of age.
The Chief Huntresse organizes the Hunting and Patrolling but she is also the main Mate of the Mane.
The Herbalist is a Lion of any Gender with exceptional knowledge of Herbs and Medicine.
Huntresses are Females of the Pride that Hunt and Patrol, but are also all Mates of the Mane.
Hunters are Males of the Pride that Hunt and Patrol, they may also Challenge the Mane.
Trainees are Adolescent Lions of at least 6 Moons of Age, training to become a Hunter/Huntress.
Mothers are Pregnant Lionesses and ones that recently gave birth.
Cubs are Lions under the age of 6 Moons.
Elders are Lions beyond the age of 100 Moons that have Retired.

Names are mostly made up of Two parts.
A Cub will have a name made up of One part, and will gain their second part when they reach Hunter/Huntress.
For example Cub: Night, Trainee: Night, Hunter: Night Splatter, Mane: NightMane
