Fallon twisted her hair nervously as the professional spoke to the group, "Welcome new trainers, I'm Professor Juniper!" Her speech was short and to the point. Everyone here was about to meet their first partner pokemon and prepare to set out on their journeys. "With introductions out of the way, lets get to the exciting part!" Fallon's heart jolted and she fell in line with everyone. One by one the line got shorter. She watched as the professor would ask what starter type the trainer preferred and then, after receiving an answer, would tap a few keys on her tablet causing the machine behind her to come to life. The machine was obviously some form of pokeball transport system, as it produced just that, a pokeball containing a choice of pokemon.
"Alright, next up!" Fallon was watching another trainer snuggling her new friend, an apparent water type judging by the shell it clasped to its stomach. "Excuse me, are you ready dear?"
Fallon came out of her daze upon realizing the professor was speaking to her, "I'm sorry! Yes! Ah, um.." She should have been thinking of what type of pokemon she wanted, but she was a serial procrastinator when it came to live changing decisions. She glanced at the smiling professor and the other trainers around the room. "Fire... no, too hot. Water? That might be good.." Suddenly, as though something clicked, Fallon knew. "Grass!" She spoke confidently for the first time that day, her nerves settled and excitement took its place. The machine stirred and a pokeball materialized.
As Fallon reached out for the pokeball the professor chimed, "Congratulations! Why don't you meet your new partner?" Fallon nodded and released the pokemon from it's capsule. "Fallon, meet Snivy- Oh? How odd! Your Snivy seems to have a rare coloration!" Professor Juniper leaned over the serpentine pokemon with curiousity. The pokemon stared back for a moment before seemingly sneering and turning to greet Fallon.
"Hello there!" A huge smile was spread on Fallon's face, she was already in love with her partner. His coloration was charming, special. "I'm going to call you Elysian!" The newly deemed Elysian gave out a chirp of appreciation as he snuggled into Fallon's leg. Firstly giving him a pat on his head, Fallon picked Elysian up and thanked the professor. Together the duo then headed out for their adventure, Elysian curled on Fallon's shoulder.

Lilac's eyes shimmered as she looked at the tiny turtle sleeping patiently in the professor's arms. "This is a Turtwig. He seems to have some odd coloration, which makes him very special! So, will you name him?" He said, and handed Lilac the Pokemon. Suddenly, the Turtwig yawned and opened its eyes to look at Lilac, and let out a confused "Turtwig?". "Hmm... you look like your name could be... Tuttle!" She smiled, and patted Tuttle's head. Tuttle let out a happy "Turrrtwig!" and rubbed his face into Lilac's chest. "Before you go, I left a bag with stuff for you on the table. It's for your journey!" The professor smiled. Lilac put Tuttle down and picked up the backpack, which was light. It had six pokeballs in it, and plenty of room for more stuff. She put the backpack on, and picked up Tuttle before running out the doors and saying cheerfully "Thank you Professor! I'll take care of Tuttle!". Soon, Lilac was in the tall grass with Tuttle close by. He was playing with some flowers he found, sniffing and biting them playfully. Lilac saw something move in the grass and walked towards it, hoping it was a pokemon.

Mysia felt a little guilty, a bit irresponsible too, but this wasn't the moment to give a long speech of apology, Instead she just gave Chickpea a berry as an apology. Mysia immediately got out 1 of her pokeballs and gently tapped it to the Leafeon, hoping it would work.[/center]

Chickpea munches on the berry and stares at the pokeball you used on the leafeon, interested.

The pokéball wiggles in your hand 3 times... click! Leafeon was captured!

Cloud was excited and had Skipper use scratch, “Hit with all you’ve got, Skipper!”

Skipper rushes forwards, trying to attack the Volcarona! Unfortunately, the Volcarona was too fast for Skipper- And with the boost of flying, this battle will get difficult real fast. Perhaps it’s better to get a little creative with this battle. Higher grounds, maybe?
