A river of excitement and fear was drowning the pack, Blaise pups had finally arrived after several months of waiting. "Are they here yet if not i'm gonna patrol" the charcoal brute yapped at the older male know as Titan excitedly. Titan was currently a mess anything could go wrong and Blaise would not permit them entry to the den, he paced around fearing for the worse. "The pups they are here" Blaise barked quietly from the den watching as her pack excitedly entered eager to meet the new arrivals. "Iridescence, Sulfur, Calcifer Mercury and Andromeda" Blaise barked her chest heaving slightly exhausted from the birth of her five pups, a sense of relief washed over her she had her pups with no severe complications. "Rest my love, Aki and I are going to hunt a feast to celebrate the birth of our family" Titan whispered quietly leaning down rubbing his head against his charcoal mate, maybe a patrol wouldn't be so bad either.

The territory is made up of large forested areas along a mountainside, mostly firs and pines cover the landscape, streams flow down into the large river at the base.
Spring and fall can give the land a winter feel with all the snow that the mountainous area collects.
This would cause an issue with prey, the weather forcing them to be less abundant. However, the wolves of this pack are suited well in camouflage and thick pelts, giving them the advantage at what prey they can find.
Winter dens are usually made in the deepest points of the forest were a few shallow caves are located. Summer dens are moved farther out were prey is more abundant.

Chandra takes her place in the hold of the den, and prepares to deliver her pups. Pewter, on the further ends of the territory, gives a sympathetic look to the wolf before him. She is hungry and worn down, and nearly throws herself at his feet when Pewter is close. "Please," she pleads, "I need help." Pewter nods with understanding. "What is your name?" She keeps her ears low as she stands. "I'm Hawke. Thank you for your kindness..." He nods, and Draug greets the two of them as they return to the winter den.

Fall is ending. Predators are beginning to gear down for the winter, but are at their most aggressive state at this time as they scramble to gather what food they can before the first snows of winter. Already, there has been a dusting of snowflakes here and there, but there has been no true freeze just yet. The trees are all bare now, and leaf litter decomposes on the forest floor, giving better cover to small prey. Any wolves not yet on their way to their winter dens will need to begin the journey now to arrive by the first snowfall.

It is clear. It's cold, but it's dry and sunny, making it easier to spot and hunt prey through the fallen leaves.
