my kennel is called the clawtooth pack
the territory of this pack is in a dense forest, which was stolen territory. the forest is mainly spruce and pine trees, but there are oaks here and there. the forest territory is quite large, but they're willing to expand further. there are many places for water sources, meetings, and dens. with prey so plentiful, it is easy to survive. the pack members are ruthless, strong, protective, strong-willed, and quite evil. they will drive anyone they don't want in their pack or territory out. those who are too weak are driven out in a blink of an eye. yet, a few dogs are strong, yet dont go by the alpha's rules. the beta and a few irontooth and tenderpaw pack members sneak off, saying they're on patrol, yet they find ways to take out the leader. the alpha is the one causing destruction, and it's time for them to be taken down. at one point, clawtooth was a peaceful pack (despite the name) and were quite reserved, yet once a few evil alphas have dominated, their reputation has been ruined. they've taken territory, killed innocents, made cruel rules, and sent witch hunts on innocent, just for the taste of blood. the clawtooth pack is now a name pups and tenderpaws spread to scare others, yet some don't believe in the clawtooth pack. though, they're very real.

the canines of the nephilim alliance take up camp in japan, in the mountains as shown above. they are a tightly knit
group bound by loyalty and their worshiping of the angel raziel, their founder and the very reason the alliance
stands today. they are more commonly known as the nephilim rather than the nephilim alliance, however.

their leader, the clave, is known as isadora, and she is said to be the daughter of raziel himself, and therefore,
was chosen by him to lead them. the alliance, and all of those who have ascended - as you must ascend and be
accepted by raziel to be known as a true nephilim - are bound by the covenant, their holy law and also known
as the law of angels, and it is unheard of a nephilim to break away from the
alliance unless they wish to endure a
pain like no other, and one that could possibly result in their death..

the law is hard, but it is the law.

when a mundane, as they call canines who were not born into the nephilim - in other words, canines who were not born
into the alliance - ascend, it is required that they take up the oath of the covenant, and afterward, it is up to raziel
if that canine were to join the nephilim’s ranks, as one of their own. when a shadowhunter, or their warriors, is chosen
by the clave before them as their second-in-command, or the beast master, and that clave dies, the beast master is then required
to re-ascend and take up the rune of the clave, which is burned onto their shoulder, and if they successfully
re-ascend, they are to choose another beast master who will take their place when they die.

once every week, the clave will travel to the single cherry tree on the peak of raziel’s mountain - the highest peak
in the idris mountains where the nephilim alliance have made their territory - to request from the angels a pack mate.

note: progeny and shadow-slayers have not already ascended, and must do so when graduating to shadowhunter.

the clave - in modern terms the clave is known as the alpha of the alliance, and is hand-picked under raziel’s guidance.
the clave is bound to the covenant, and although they cannot remove laws,
they can add them under the consent of
raziel and his council. the rune of angles is burned into their shoulder when they re-ascend using the mortal cup.

the beast master - in modern terms the beast master is the beta of the alliance and the second-in-command
of the clave. they organize border patrols and hunting parties, and apart
from the angel raziel and his council
of angels, he is the clave’s closest confident and advisor.

iron sister/silent brother - in modern terms the iron sister or the silent brother is the healer of the alliance who, apart from
the clave, communicates with raziel and his council of angels the most, and they interpret prophecies and omens,
using herbs and other materials to heal. they are sent directly from raziel, and
often have a disability of some sort.

shadowhunters - in modern terms they are the warriors, hunters, scouts, and the patrollers of the alliance who train shadow-slayers.

progeny are the offspring of a shadowhunter and a mundane or two shadowhunters.

the forsaken are also known as slaves who have not and will never ascend and who assist in the nursery.

the large dog looked around at her surroundings, nodding slightly. she thought that this seemed like a good place to stay. it had many small caves for dens and she loved living in the mountains. it would be harder for enemies to sneak up on them and overall, it seemed like a safe, snug camp.
millecent walked across the land, not really looking for anything in particular. she thought about her past life and her future and the now. about how she had grown up as a small pup with a dream of leading a kennel and now she was pursuing that dream. she still had the same beliefs and wishes and she knew she would raise a kennel to be kind and good. she would be the best leader she could be. and she would have a kennel that she would be proud of. a kennel that would take care of others and love each other and not put violence above other things.
the dog slowed to a stop, looking out into the distance. the sun was rising and the land would soon be covered with it's light and warmth. it was time to talk to the stars. her ancestors.
"ancestors," millecent whispered. "how are you today? i have been great, as you can see. i have found a good place to call home and a land that is filled with flora and fauna. i feel that you have been guiding me and i thank you."
"i know that this is more than enough, but i am worried that i will need a shaman for this new kennel. it is summer, the season of heat and pups, and i fear that something bad will come. having someone to confide in and a dog experienced in medicine would be a blessing. thank you, ancestors." millecent dipped her head in thanks before continuing her walk. she should patrol the territory to look for any dogs or food.

"Congratulations," Tulip panted. "You two have three beautiful pups." At Seria's stomach were the three pups, snuggling for warmth. She gently licked their heads. Sol looked lovingly at them all.
"They really are beautiful," Seria said.
"Yes they are. I've never been more proud," Sol replied.
"What about names?" Seria looked.
"Hmm... How about..."

With Seria's pups, the kennel was more lively than ever. Aster's pups were brimming with excitement as it was just about their turn to become tenderpaws. Aster had spent all morning making sure they were presentable.
"Mama..." Tobi growled. "That's enough..."
"Come now, Tobi. You can't go out there looking like a mess!" she spat.
"Ugh..." he groaned. Lilac and Ilia giggled.
"Well, I think they all look stunning," Conner said, bringing the two other pups close.
"Haha, I wanna be just like Papa when I become an irontooth!" Lilac shouted.
"Oh? What would that be?" he asked.
"I wanna protect the kennel just like you!" she squeaked.
"Remember to look after yourself too," Aster said in between licks. She enthusiastically nodded.
"What about you, Ilia?" Conner asked the pup who had been quiet the whole time.
"Umm..."
"Actually, I would like to talk about that," said a loud voice behind them. Tulip quietly approached them. She nodded a greeting to them all.
"Hello, Tulip. What is it you want to talk about?" Aster asked and let Tobi go. He scrambled away and hid behind Lilac.
"The past couple months I have noticed Ilia taking some interest in my shaman duties. I was perhaps wondering if she would take interest in training to become a shaman. Of course, it's up to her but it was just a thought," she explained. Aster and Conner stopped to think as Ilia looked around.
"Ilia," Aster said. "What do you want to do?"
"Um..." she shyly looked away. "I-I wouldn't mind doing that."
"Then it's settled. I'll talk to Seria about it. You can always change your mind later too," Tulip replied. She turned away and left. Aster and Conner looked at each other and shrugged.
"Well, it's your turn, Ilia. Come here," Aster said to break the silence.

It was time for the ceremony. Like last time, Sol was to do it while Seria rested with the pups. The kennel gathered around and fill silent. Sol cleared his throat.
"Hello again, everyone. Today we will be having a ceremony. Three pups will be becoming tenderpaws. Also everything was talked to by Seria and these are her choices, not mine," he begun. "So, if Tobi, Ilia and Lilac could please step forward?" The three pups came to the front. Aster's handiwork seemed to shine as they looked like they were ready for a battle.
"We will start with Tobi. Although he is a little on the small side, he is an enthusiastic young dog who I hear is also a little cheeky." The crowd murmured with small laughter.
"Anyway, now is his time to become an tenderpaw so hopefully his mentor can catch up to him. So, Goldie please step forward," Sol said. Goldie looked around in surprise, almost as if he was wondering if it was actually him. He finally stood up and sat next to Tobi.
"Goldie, do you wish to take Tobi as your tenderpaw?"
"I-i do," he stuttered from nervousness. Tobi looked over to the older dog and smiled. He excitedly came towards him and gave him a head-butt. Goldie calmed down with that. Now, it was Lilac's turn. Sol was remembering the mentor's names over and over again.
"Uh... Sol?" Rowan asked after he had been silent for quite some time.
"Oh! Sorry, I didn't realise they had finished... Next on our agenda we have Lilac. I have been told that she is a kind and caring pup but she isn't afraid to stand her ground. Her mentor has been chosen with these quality's in mind. Sandy, please come up," he announced.

Sandy looked shocked but as she approached the front, her usual serious composure returned. Lilac turned to face the golden retriever and was almost intimidated by her. However, she swallowed her fears and smiled kindly. Sol repeated the same process that happened with Goldie and Sandy agreed. Lastly, Ilia was left.
"Now it's time for Ilia. This time we have a bit of a request. Ilia has agreed to be trained as a shaman so Tulip, please come forward," Sol said. Tulip rose to her feet. She faced the tiny pup and nodded. Ilia nodded back, although more nervous.
"Tulip, do you wish to take Ilia as your tenderpaw?" Sol asked the same question again.
"I do. And she will be taught all that needs to be learnt as a shaman," she replied.

After the ceremonies, the kennel chanted their names in congratulations. Then, normal life resumed. Sol sorted out patrols and then he went to be Seria. Goldie and Sandy took their tenderpaw's out to train. All that was left was Sol, Seria, Bella resting, Tulip and Ilia. Tulip turned to Ilia.
"Let's go. I have much to teach you," she said and headed for the exit.
"O-okay!" she replied and scampered after her. Then the kennel cavern was quiet.
