"i'll take them." the angry arguing of the clan hushed when dappleflower's voice rang out above them all. at the base of the highrock was a crying gray she-cat and two mewling kittens; the source of the clan's quarreling. a large ginger-patched tom stepped forwards. "dappleflower, are you sure that you can take on two more kits?" he glanced back at the cats huddled beneath the highrock and lowered his voice. "especially kits with that heritage?" at this, the calico queen's fur luffed up and her yellow eyes blazed with fury. "i don't care where they come from!" she snapped. "i'd take in a badger's cubs if they needed me!" dappleflower was given her suffix for her nurturing, motherly nature, which she showed on a regular basis with her clanmates. now, the clan leader shrank back before her. growling, the calico snapped her burning yellow gaze to the kits beneath the rock, eyes softening with pity. "no cat can help where they're born, or who kits them." her strong sense of justice was coming into play. she looked to the gray queen, the mother of the kits. "neither can they help falling in love." immediately, the fire returned to her eyes and she snapped back to the ginger leader. "it's not riverwing's fault she's a medicine cat! starclan destined her to be so!" she curled her lip. "so my decision is final, applestar. i'll take in the kits and raise them with my own." dappleflower would never, ever let another cat suffer, if she could help it- especially kits. head and tail high, she trotted past a shocked applestar, and gave riverwing a comforting lick on the head before taking the two mewling kittens.

A brown-patched tabby with piercing amber eyes. Very loyal, hardworking, and passionate. Young but trusted by their leader and deputy, and if another deputy were to be chosen, Koisplash would be the choice. They love fishing and their favorite fighting tactic is using speed and small size to their advantage, then striking out when least expected.
