• my day has been alright. i've been chipping away at my depression room, and i'm starting to get most of the trash out. i also watched a few television shows with my mom. we don't get many chances to spend time together, as my sleep schedule is completely off right now. it was nice to see her for once.

v what's something you like from a genre you generally dislike?

Really the only genre I haven't dabbled too much in is straight nonfiction. I really enjoy all of the short animal nonfiction, but I've yet to find any really entertaining reads.

Fantasy, generally! I don't know if I could pinpoint why. monkey brain just likes the story of "kid discovers magic powers/gets trapped in a magic world/maybe both". I'd recommend any of Brandon Mull's series for that haha
