the crescent moon kennel/pack is known to keep to themselves and are usual very calm and friendly dogs. the pack is named after its original leaders, mates crescent and moon. the pack had gone down a dark path at one point, lead by the grandchild of crescent and moon, boulder. but after boulders take down, the pack has risen up and are better than ever.

they live in the middle of a dense forest. to the east of their camp lays a good sized lake, perfect for fishing. to the west lays a large grassy field, home to a family of rabbits and occasionally a herd of deer.

their camp is located in the ruins on a small, old human village.

The Serpent's Legacy

The dogs apart of Serpent's Legacy kennel often bite first and bark later, but do have some common sense on when they fight and when they talk. Mostly consisting of hotheaded canines, they aren't really know for being as merciful and kind (except to an Ally pack or to fellow canines). Their ruthless personality is quite unruly and obnoxious.. Which tends to drive the chance of Allied packs away.

Their Territory is apart of a foggy set of winding woods that will usually always get snow. This gives the perfect element of confusion when enemies try to attack as its usually very confusing crossing around the woods. It is however, a bit more difficult to locate prey (or enemy dogs/loners/potential pack members themselves), but then again.. Since when did the prey ever even suspect looming threats from the mist?

Going more in depth with the dogs themselves, they usually tend to be in all shapes and sizes (Mostly larger, slim, and agile dogs, but there is a good spectrum of smaller breeds such as Chihuahua's). The alpha is usually A large or medium sized male who can think, speak, and truly feel like the essence of a sensible serpent. The dogs will always have bites that are more of many, quick, and painful strikes and snake-like movements that entrance any foe. But a weakness is always needed, and it will always be found. Between strikes, enemies could doge out of the way just in time to lunge back. It always seems like worthy opponents are more of mongooses then canids. An adaptation and preferred trait for the pack would be of darker pelts and longer fur just so they could blend in with the dark and keep themselves warm in case of snow. However, there have been times where some pack members have lighter and shorter coats, but its very rare to ever see that due to them sticking out like sore thumbs.

The camp is made from the trees that are apart of their humble and chilling territory. It is quite useful for storing all types of herbs, which is preferred for the shaman that lives in the pack.

Side Note: The Alpha as of currently is a large, blue eyed, shaggy furred, and sleek male that gazes longingly up at the stars. (Ended up thinking he'd be an interesting Malamute)

the kennel of the obsidian stars is a hardy, resilient pack. they're pretty nomadic, with no set territory, and drift from place to place. they're restless, never liking to stay in one place for too long unless a fae is with pups. they're generally neutral with the other kennels, neither liking nor disliking them. the coat colors vary widely throughout the obsidian stars, from cream to red to black. they take in anyone they find on their travels, and if you don't like the ways of the pack, you're free to go. kennel life revolves around the pup-mothers. they are fiercely protected, and anyone who disobeys their wishes is exiled.

The WillowWay Kennel camp is located below eight giant sequoia trees. Their dens are located in the hollowed out trees. The forest surrounding the trees is large and thick. One day south is a road that marks the edge of WillowWay territory. Across the road is an expensive resort and a beach. Most of the WillowWay dogs found a way to escape their overbearing owners here and ran into the woods, encountering the other dogs and immediately befriending them.

The tenderpaw tree is connected to the right of the ironteeth tree.

The forest [ X ]

The dogs of WillowWay are very welcoming to dogs who have run away from their owners or are stray. Unless a dog poses an immediate threat and if they can contribute to the kennel, they will be welcomed in as soon as possible. Once they join, they will be able to choose their new name in the presence of the ancestors. The night after they choose their name, they have to sleep in the middle of the sequoia grove with the stars shining above them.
The kennel is constructed of mostly sighthounds such as Borzois, Salukis, Afghans, Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Scottish Deerhounds, Silken Windhounds, and Whippets as well as a few Australian Shepherds and Border Collies. They will let in any breed of dog, though.

The dogs generally keep to themselves and try to avoid other kennels as much as possible. The southern border is one day away with the road and resort acting as a definite danger zone. The kennel has three halfway camps in patches of bramble so the patrol can break halfway no matter which way they go towards the road. The other borders only take about a half a day to travel to, so the patrols have to be careful in the winter to head out soon enough to return by dark.

Adelaide is the alpha of WillowWay and used to be called Addi. She was owned by a middle-aged couple who pretty much just owned her to show they could afford a purebred borzoi. They took her to the Resort on a trip with their business friends. She stared longingly at the nearby forest the entire time they were there. On the last day, her owners left her unattended while they were at the pool and she was able to slip out of the gate and across the road without them even noticing. She looked back once when she reached the edge of the forest before slinking through the trees and officially kissing her past life behind. No one came looking for her.
She traveled a day before she found the sequoia grove. She fell asleep there and the ancestors called to her to start a kennel.

When his leg was finally back to normal,he sat in the snow,in the mysterious and dark forest.He was basically an adult now and was ready for his ceremony.His siblings were playing and cuddling with Adalia as other dogs joined in the play,his eyes narrowed.His ceremony wasn't going to happen,he'll never tell his mother of the oh-so-brave things he'd done,he'll never be touched again by those ignorant dogs.Since he was little,he hunted food for himself as his mother gave all the food to the others.As the black gsd thought of these things,he didn't even hear Emma creep up and talk to him,he didn't even hesitate to turn around and pounce on to the female.She squeled in pain and gasped in shock as Luzifer bit down on her neck and threw her to a tree with a snarl ''why?why do you speak to me now when all my life you didn't even realize your brother was ALIVE?!'' he raged as Emma slowly stood up.The other siblings quickly ran towards the commotion as Conrad was in front,staring in disbelief.''B-Brother?'' Leonard finally spoke.Luzifer's heavy breathing was hard to get used to,his blue eyes stared at all of them ''what are you STARING at?!I am not your 'BROTHER' as you call it.I never was and I'll never be'' he hissed whilst walking towards Leonard in a freaky manner.In a sly fashion,Conrad pinned Luzifer down ''why?why did you do this,brother?why did you hurt Emma?Why?'' Conrad was on the verge of tears as he spoke to the crazed dog.Luzifer,quickly,managed to push Conrad off and finally got to Emma,smacking her face and growling,a growl that made the whole crowd shiver.

As Loki heard the whole fight,he was running as fast as he could {which was very slow due to his broken leg.}.After a long time,he finally arrived to see nothing but a pool of blood,a crazy black dog,the siblings and terrified faces.Loki panted and observed as Luzifer turned to him ''it was me.'' he grinned before walking out slowly ''auf wiedersehen.''

Blue Moon Kennels

Osiris is quite proud of his little pack. The dogs of Blue Moon Kennels are strong and hardy. They are withstanding the bitter weather and doing so without complaint. He can see that they are rough and ready, prepared for whatever life may throw at them. Not only are they surviving, but there is even a little pile of fresh-kill growing. For the first time in the pack's existence, they are hunting more prey than they are able to eat, and it makes him glad to see this level of progress from them.

The new beta, Blaze, has been keeping everyone in line. He's got a set of jaws on him, that one, and there was a time or two he bit the siblings to stop them from squabbling, but his bark is worse than his bite and for that Osiris is grateful. They have not yet needed any of Trance's healing herbs.

"Guess what we found wasn't so bad..huh?" Connor said softly as Tania paced by his side, the rest of the pack had gone off in their own directions in camp, and Connor somehow had retained the urge to rip Esther's throat out.
"You don't like the beta much do you?" Tania replied, lowering her voice to a whisper and was taken aback when Connor chuckled, "I just merely care about the wellbeing of the pack. And Nemell.."
"Guess you do." Tania sighed, listening to the crunching of dried leaves beneath her paws as they wandered off into the darkening forest, the sun slowly retreating back into the hill, "You'll make a better beta than she is.."
Connor couldn't help but let a smile creep on to the corners of his mouth, and he lowered his gaze, as if trying to hide his face. And Tania couldn't help but notice that an odd feeling struck her chest as she threw a glance towards him, making her heart beat faster. Trying to take her mind off it she spoke up again,
"Why not challenge her for beta position? Artermis would love for that."
"I don't think it's the right time." Connor said, realising that they were a great distant away from the camp, "Maybe one day, c'mon, let's head back."
"Hey wait!" Tania called out as the male dog turned away, and he stopped in his tracks, looking back to the female hound.
"I-I was thinking..maybe we could go on a patrol..together? A-alone?.." Tania stammered nervously, and was partly relieved when Connor gave her a warm smile in return, and also noticing that a burning sensation had creeped into her cheeks,
"Sure."

"It's brilliant to meet you!" Owa chirped happily as he bowed his head towards the alpha, a strange British accent in his tone of voice that made him stand out from the rest of the pack.
"Gosh." Artermis muttered under her breath and rolled her eyes.

"Who brought you in?" Koda growled, though not in a threatening way.
"Beta did." Elan spoke up from amongst the sitted Ironteeths, who had their attention all on Koda and the newcomer.
"Esther?" The alpha repeated, "Why?"

"He seemed like a perfect dog to be an Ironteeth. Plus he brought a vole." Esther threw a glance towards the prey pile, "Which we clearly need."
"You still have much to learn." Koda sighed.

Connor sighed, looking about his surroundings, and also subconsciously aware that he was walking flank to flank with Tania,
Does she feel the same about me?
Suddenly stopping in his tracks, he turned to her, giving a small lick to her ear as she jumped, shocked.
"W-what's that for?" She stuttered, her ear flattened to her neck, not in aggression, but a natural reaction.
"Sorry, was I too straightforward?" He asked, locking his eyes with hers.

"What d-do you mean?"
He can't help but notice the blush that had taken place on her snout, giving an adorable look to her features.
With a lick to her neck, he buried his snout in her fur.

"It may be too soon..but I thought I'd ask...will you be my mate Tania?"

Looking up to her, Connor noticed the unmistakable blush that was now visibly clear under the disappearing light, her eyes wide in shock and mouth slowly turning into a small grin.
"I t-though you'd never ask.."
