i don’t think i’ve ever listened to something quite like this before, but i found myself mostly listening to the instruments the whole time rather than the words being sung. i actually really enjoy this song because of that. 8/10 in my opinion !

my fav thing to do is rip on the beatles, but i'd be lying if i said i didn't rock with paul just a little bit. he's my mom's favorite beatle and yeah, i see why. i thought i wasn't going to like this one because of the intro, but i think this is a funky silly little tune! (i say despite these lyrics? i love that about songs with nice tunes and sad lyrics tbh) "thank you, paul mccartney", i say begrudgingly.

i REALLY like the beginning instrumentals of the song, it has this nostalgic haze to it and i'd say the song was about looking back on those sweaty summer days giving you reason to look forward and "go on with the show" but your boy was NOT paying attention to the lyrics LMAO. i guess i wasn't too far off where you really do just gotta push forwards with it all but it's not as happy as expected haha. its a great song overall, the instrumentals really remind me of my dear friend buckethead.

Oh I like the residents, cool to see them come up on this thread. That said I’d actually never heard this song before, super cool as always, really enjoyed tge inclusion of the female vocalist I think that always enhances their songs more in the ones they do. I’ll have to get around to checking out the rest of the ablum
