“Aristaeus!”

“Mh?”

“A word please.”

Natia stood by the shoreline, the crème colored Borzoi was already growing impatient has the border collie came into view, she coolly kept her expression clear, but it was getting tasking here. After all, how dare she find out that someone else had taken use of her the position that was rightfully hers. Been oracle meant, everyone answered, and listened to what she said, and anyone else would be a contribution towards Apollo. But Nimbus, simple, brainless, and kind Nimbus was using a rank that was given, the eyes and ears of a god. A position has high as a god, if not similar was given to an unworthy insignificant specimen of a dog.

“Natia, what is it?”

The Borzoi rolled her eyes in response, and dug her paw into the ground, narrowing her gaze towards the border collie. This one had joined just recently, been accepting and receptive to all of what Nimbus has delivering, even if she didn’t at all have the same mutual feeling as the border collie. “How can you take him, how do I put it? Prophetic words, and just been so, so kind?”

Aristaeus took a moment to answer her question, a heartbeat went between the two of them, and he exhaled has he bored his gaze at the nimble and slender canine, Natia was seeing that it was going to be very hard to corrupt this one for sure. Aristaeus’s heart was in the right place, and he was not anywhere a simpleton has she suspected to him to be, as they spent the month together as a kennel.

“I unlike you, have no motive, or jealously driven agenda to take a position away from someone. Why can’t you leave this be, leave Nimbus alone? He hasn’t hurt anyone, and he was appointed by Apollo.”

Scoffing his words, the fellow sun runner circled the border collie, her eyes narrowed. “And what are you going to do, hm?” she inquired.

“I will do anything to keep him away from you, you are not to be trusted.” Aristaeus straightened his spine, and raised his head upwards eyes still unmoving, and resolved in his determination.

“You are going to protect him? Fine, so be it. You and he have agreed to your own deaths. Join the right side, I can assure you will be on the path of greatness, stay by him, and you will foretell your own death.” She spoke coldly.

“let’s be real here princess,” Aristaeus snorted almost finding humor in that statement, staring at her still, unphased by the death threat. “You are going to make some other poor sods do your dirty work. I know how much of a damn snake you are.” He growled softly now his patience was running thin, and he was very much would like to return back towards where Nimbus was, for he was certain the English receiver was wondering where his kennel mates were.

Giving her not much to respond, the border collie walked back towards the settlement, it was better of a word that camp, for that what it was, it was a settlement of a former village that used to reside on this alcove, so that was where the kennel dwelled.

Nimbus was sky gazing, laying on his back with his eyes on trained on the clouds floating above him. He didn’t even hear the paw steps of Aristaeus approaching him until he saw that something had overtaken his vision. “What are you doing?” the border collie asked sitting down beside the oracle.

“Cloud gazing, it’s a relaxing hobby of mine. Sometimes I feel like I am one with the birds. Want to join me?”

Seeing that there was nothing else for the only two members of the kennel, Aristaeus took him up on his suggestion, laying on his back with his legs dangling in the air. This was an unusual feeling, and he slightly wiggled to make himself more comfortable.

“Something bothering you friend?” Nimbus who seemed quite content laying on his back with his legs upwards, and the sunlight felt right on his pelt.

“How would you feel if someone was plotting to kill you…. And anyone who stood between them and power.” Aristaeus started seeing it was no point of sugar coating or telling a lie.

“Natia is planning on having me disposed of my oracle rank, isn’t she?” Nimbus sighed watching a flock of birds was flying above them.

“Wait how, what? How did you even...” Aristaeus started before Nimbus raised his paw to silence the sun runner. “I am not surprised really, that one is lighter in complexion, I mean fur color. So, she sees that she should be at least my aprenticii than a sun runner. But I am not letting her become, for her heart is corrupted by the wiles of been power-hungry.”

“so, what are you going to do? She is going to get you killed or disposed of your rank.?”

“Hopefully by that time, we have enough dogs who believe in my teachings and heed my words. By that time, we should be fine. We can see her own exile.”

"Rest here, Shala will bring you some prey later." Mars rumbled softly, helping the creamy furred doberman lower herself into a nest. Mars's red gaze shot up to look across the camp. Tyr and Shala had run into her on her hunting patrol a few days ago. They'd been a bit freaked out by the way her fur glowed, but after some...persuasion, they'd decided to join the Forsaken.

Some lies may have been told, about how if they didn't, the forest would consume them, but the two had joined and so there weren't any problems.

Today, Mars had found a pregnant dog on patrol. The pale furred stranger had introduced themselves as Freya, and they were running away from their old owners, since they didn't want to lose their pups.

Mars told them of her goal, of destroying those who lived for lies, to avenge those who had died for the truth. Freya had shown interest, claiming that the sire of their pups was such a liar, and that they would love to see them destroyed.

Padding away from the pregnant doberman, Mars's gaze darted towards Tyr and Shala. The two he'd run into together, while out hunting. They seemed to be close friends, nothing more, nothing less. They were a bit of an odd pair, Tyr with his tall and lanky form, and Shala with their shorter, fluffier shape. But they were good friends.

Mars let a small smile curl her lips. The Forsaken were off to a good start. Soon, all dogs would tremble before them, and none would dare kill to tell a lie.

In her mind, the spirit rumbled approvingly. Mars closed her eyes, and stood in the sunlight, lifting her chin to the skies and letting the peace of the camp surround her.

The storms of battle await us, her spirit crooned let us go forth, and prepare for war.

Daisy's golden fur seemed to dull as she padded into the misty forest. She shuddered, wondering why the spirit would send her here of all places. The Whispering Forest was no joke, the trees just weren't natural.

But the spirit she'd been following was insistent. It's blue shimmering form bounded ahead of her, guiding her along an invisible path through the silvery trees, until finally....

"Whoaahhh..." Daisy whispered softly, eyes widening. The trees had given way to a soft clearing, there were two dogs, now staring at her, sitting on one side, while a pregnant she-dog and a now snarling male on the other. The male stalked forward, his fur pulsing a furious red as he began to glow brightly.

Daisy took a step back, tail darting underneath her legs as she let out a loud whine. The blue spirit in front of her pulsed, glowing furiously. The glowing red male growled, and barked out "What is this?! Who are you?"

"My, my name ah-, I'm, that is- I'm Daisy. This, this thing, it, he, she, um, they, they showed up at the Shelter a few days ago, they helped me break out, and um, well they sort of just led me here?" Daisy stammered. "I, I've just been following them, I mean, what else do you do when a giant glowing blue ghost dog shows up right?" she laughed nervously. "But um, I'm here now, and they seem happy so....I can just, go now?"

"No." The male said, his voice no longer echoing. "No, you simply..." He shook his head, padding forward. "I am Mars, we are The Forsaken. If this Spirit has guided you, then it means you are the one who has been chosen. You are to be our Shaman."

"Whoa, whoa WHOA" Daisy spluttered "Shaman?! I don't, I can't, you do NOT want to trust me to heal dogs, I can barely keep myself healthy, how do you think I ended up in the Shelter in the first place?"

"The Spirit will guide you," Mars said, padding closer still. Now that he was close enough, Daisy could see that his eyes were solid red "You have been chosen, do you accept this honor?"

"Please note if you refuse the forest will eat you!" Called the male spotted dog.

Daisy's head whipped around to face him "EXCUSE ME?!?!?!"

"Or, you could not worry about that, and accept that you have been chosen, likely for a reason. So, I will ask you again, do you accept the honor of being The Forsaken's Shaman?"

Daisy whimpered, then nodded her head. The blue spirit she had been following padded closer to her, its glow pulsing. The spirit smiled, and then stepped forward, brushing its ghostly nose against Daisy's fur.

Daisy shuddered, and then...

Knowledge flooded her mind. The golden retriever's mouth dropped open into a gasp, as scars formed, tearing through her back, leg, nose, and cheek.

The female shuddered, and when her eyes opened next, they were glowing solid blue. Hello there! a voice purred in her mind. I'm so glad to finally be able to talk to you! I used to be a healer, before my alpha killed me, because I refused to give her poisonous berries to use against my pack. the voice paused I'm Minerva, by the way. Now that you've become my Host, that'll be your new name...unless, you have a different one?

Dai- Minerva shook her head. "No," she whispered "That's...that's fine." she looked up at Mars, his glow pulsing softly. Minerva looked down at her paws, and realized the blue glow that had once been the spirit she had been following, had enveloped her own fur. "Wow..." she whispered.

"It is, rather incredible, isn't it." Mars said, smiling at her. "Come then, what is your name, and your rank in this pack?"

"We are Minerva." The dog said, chin lifting as the voice of her spirit joined her own. "And we are your shaman."

Can I please have Nightwolf as my mod again please? Also, i have left the pictures of specific dogs, knowing that they might not be F2U, but i need help finding pictures that are as close to matching as possible since they are such specific pictures, the rest i just left a description of the looks or left with just the breed if it is a standard looking dog.

Nevermore kennels consists mainly of big dogs, and although his may be the case, they are still gentle giants. Nevermore was so aptly named because most dogs in it were either rejected by other kennels or rejected and abused by humans. This kennel was founded by an ex-fighting dog after he escaped his captors. He vowed to never let such a thing happen to any other dog and goes to extreme lengths to protect those in his kennel, and he expects all in his kennel to do the same.

TERRITORY: Nevermore kennels is located in a valley where they are sheltered from most everything. Harsh winter weather,
heavy rain, tornados and other natural disasters seldom ever hit the valley. Winter, although it may not bring heavy snow and harsh conditions, still makes prey scarce and plants die.
PERSONALITY: Nevermore kennels is overprotective, very accepting, not quick to judge, and often quick to anger.
DOGS: the dogs of this kennel consist mostly of big dogs, like the Great Dane, Irish Wolfhound, Tibetan Mastiff, Saint Bernard,
Great Pyrenese, Newfoundland, and the like. Small dogs are not uncommon either, often involving Corgis, Basset Hounds,
Swedish Valhound, Dachsunds, and similar. There is no real restriction on what breeds can be in the kennel, although smaller dogs are more often frowned upon and not seen as valuable as bigger dogs.

Rocky smiled as he looked out at his dogs. He had woken up before the dawn and watched as his group started their day. He was thinking long and hard about who he should send out to do what. After giving out his orders, he went to spend the morning with his family before sleeping for his night patrol.
