allen sighed, gazing forlornly at the lone blanket he'd procured from his run. he'd gone as far from home as he'd dared - and all he had to show for it was a single, dirty, ragged blanket that while he was grateful for, wasn't something he currently needed. heaving a heavy sigh, he resigned himself to his fate of an empty stomach for the night.

"well, that's fine," he muttered. "nothing new here, i guess. at least i've got this... blanket."

the sound of feet scuffing outside of the store he was currently sulking in snapped him out of his self-pity. allen was quick to react, turning on his heel towards the sound, ducking his head and shuffling as silently as he could towards cover. he held his breath, hoping not to be heard by whatever it was - only to have his heart pick up further as he came to the realisation that whatever it was, it was heading his way.

shoes shuffled across the floor, slow but strangely careful. allen had half a mind to have a look, but fear had gripped his heart and he found himself unable to move.

it was coming closer. closer. it couldn't be further than an arm's length away.

allen ducked his head, praying to whatever gods that hadn't left this forsaken world.

and that was when it hit him. that's right; he wasn't helpless.

with a silent battlecry within his mind, allen jumped from his hiding place, wrapping the zombie's head in the blanket. that'd teach it! no teeth would be sinking into his succulent flesh on this day!

no teeth would sink into him indeed, he realised, as the body in his hold yelped and struggled under the sheet. with surprise, allen noted the lack of falling guts, the healthy sheen of tanned skin. he also understood the panicked, rapid-fire korean the figure was spewing.

allen hastily unwound the offending sheet from the other's face, pulling it back to himself in horror as he stared in silence at the frightened man before him. there was a moment of pause, before what either were seeing finally sunk in to their minds.

"you're alive," the man trailed off in accented english, "right?"

allen found himself nodding with a growing smile, relief bubbling in his chest.

"like, you're warm, and you eat food, not human flesh...?"

allen nodded again, and this time, he took the other's hand in his. "yeah, i'm alive. and you are too."

a laugh burst from the other, and allen had to cover the man's mouth to stop the sound - just for the off-chance a walker might pass by. the man seemed to understand as he tapped allen's hand twice, signalling him to drop the appendage.

"i'm sorry- it's just," he sighed. "i haven't seen anything living in a while. it's just been... a lot of death."

allen could understand the man, and he pursed his lips at the growing tension in the atmosphere. shaking his head, he forced his smile back onto his lips, cocking his head to the side. he looked at the other with glinting eyes as he spoke.

"well, we're here now! and if you're alright with it - would you like to come with me? it'd be nice to have some company; i've got a hideout, but no one to share it with. it's kinda lonely."

excitement lit up in the other's eyes, and he was quickly nodding to allen's words. "god, i thought i'd die alone and unnoticed with all this around us, but i guess i won't be!"

"you sure won't; i'll be with you every step of the way."

"wait- you haven't been bitten, right? you're not taking me to be your first kill, right? and i didn't get your name either."

allen had to chuckle, rolling his eyes exaggeratedly as he did. slinging an arm across the other's shoulder he responded.

"c'mon. let's talk along the way."

the men approached the warehouse, jaehyun speaking in awe at the size of it, voicing his curiosity at the fact this place had been empty before allen had come by. they were careful, despite the lively chatter, watching out for any zombies and possible bandits around the place.

but it was only when they entered, when they were yet again surprised.

"hey."

the duo looked on, dumbfounded, at the woman resting against one of the many rusted barrels. jaehyun and allen shared a look, unsure what to say. she pushed herself off her rest, looked both men over before she continued, hands tucked into her pockets.

"care to share the place?"

she wore a smirk that demanded obedience, and allen gulped, unable to say no.

Antoinette gripped the side of her waist, pressing her hand against her shirt, which was stained red by blood. She winced at each movement by Zenzi, who she had ushered into a steady canter as they made their way back to the school, which she had made their base.

　As they neared the familiar path leading up to the once thriving academy, Toni noticed a figure between the tall, now overgrown hedges. She immediately tensed up, ready to move Zenzi into a gallop to the school stables. Her hazel eyes looked over the figure as it stumbled forth into the center of the path, outstretching their arms and looking at her wide-eyed.

　"Please, please help me!” They called out. “I have been traveling for days.”

　Toni pulled back on the reigns, slowing her friesian mare down to stop in front of the woman. She slipped out of the saddle, touching the ground gracefully. She walked forwards slowly, eyeing up the girl before her as she stroked Zenzi’s ebony chin. “Who are you and why are you here?” She asked, her voice commanding.

　“My name is Dakota Ciel, I came from a city far from here. I found a car and I drove away from those... those things. They’re everywhere in the city.” She paused, visibly shaken. “I drove up into the mountains, but the car broke down and I’ve been walking since. I just want safety.”

　Antoinette kept her expression placid. “There is no safety anymore. Not while the dead walk among the living.” She began to mount Zenzi, trying to hide the pain of her wounds, “but I do have shelter up ahead. It’s just me and Dante, he’s a doctor.” Antoinette groaned again as she tried to mount Zenzi, the pain almost burning.

　Dakota placed a hand on Toni’s shoulder, helping the Governor up onto Zenzi. She gave a brief smile, nodding her head as Toni muttered a thank you to her. “Lead the way....” She trailed off, waiting to learn of the woman’s name.

　“Antoinette. The name is Antoinette.”

( 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 ─ it's spring and after being crushed by winter, it is welcome. but with warm
weather comes it's own trial, though food is surprisingly easier to harvest and grow,
floods in high risk areas pose an undeniable threat as undead swept into the water poison
it. it is advised to drink only bottled water or rain water, and to avoid muddy rivers that
might hide deadly trials and tribulations. )

( 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃 ─ )

( ​​‍‌‌‎allen, lana and jaehyun do not manage to find any supplies, but rather come across
a light skinned brunette with green eyes. she appears to be hiding something, though
it is unclear what it is, until later when she vomits on the side of the road. it becomes
apparent to lana that she might be pregnant, recognizing the signs of nausea, vomiting,
and a general defensiveness. the brunette woman doesn't seem to trust allen or jaehyun,
but finds comfort in the fact that lana was once a doctor and provides medical care even
now, before confiding in lana that she is in fact four months pregnant. keeping in mind
the chaos and noise a baby bring, the folk of neverland have a decision to make. )
( while patrolling the border, allen, lana and jaehyun do not come across anything unusual.
it seems strange that the walkers aren't out and biting, but they take this good luck with
ease, but still refuse to go home empty handed while the sun shone in the sky. )
( allen, lana, and jaehyun encounter a walker while hunting. unfortunately, allen suffers
an infected wound while defending the other two. he will need x1 antibiotics and a
bandage or sponge to stop the bleeding. allen needs to rest for two posts before he
can venture out again. )
( while scavenging for medicine, they're lucky enough to find cough drops, baby formula,
and aspirin. despite the injuries allen suffered, at least there was something to bring
home to neverland's camp. )

it's currently spring! it's a bit rainy and certain areas are prone to flooding, mudslides, and perhaps even tornadoes!
the flowers are blooming, the weeds are sneaking their way into gardens, and it's the perfect time to start planting
your crops so they can grow until the harvest season. prey is abundant with new life blossoming right under the nos
es of our survivors- the wildlife is truly taking over. while it's mighty wet and green, the sun comes up a little earlier
every day and the air is a little warmer. summer is just around the corner, so enjoy the cool breezes while you still can!

( 𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 ) + w0ah, difficulty one


• hunting party: cason, wielding a knife, with bane & kit. (lvl 1)
• border patrol: cason, wielding a knife, with bane & kit. (lvl 1)
• scavenging: cason, wielding a knife, with bane & kit. (lvl 1)

↪ whilst hunting, cason catches one medium fish(3s). bane and kit both catch a piece of prey, bringing home an additional rabbit(2s) and a squirrel(1s).
↪ during his border patrol, nothing particularly interesting happens. then, when cason least expects it, he runs into a survivor who introduces themself as nikolai. how will cason and his dogs react to the survivor?
↪ while scavenging alongside bane and kit, cason is able to find one spear. hopefully this item is put to good use!
↪ later on his scavenging mission, cason and his dogs run into a survivor who introduces themself as vivian. will they join township, or will they pass on the chance at a safe haven?

• chen, jenna, lilith, and eloise go hunting with a sword
• chen, jenna, lilith, and eloise go scavenging with a sword
• gabrielle and jackson patrol with a sword
• riley looks for medicine, wearing leather armor
• riley uses x1 bandages on jenna's injury

↪ on their hunting patrol, the pairs are each able to catch two pieces of prey. chen and jenna catch a small fish(1s) and a medium bird(3s), while lilith and eloise catch a mouse(1s) and find a melon(4s).
↪ whilst scavenging, the group of four find this young man. will he join their ranks and become the newest member of project london?
↪ on their border patrol, jackson is proud to announce that they've come across a bow! it's intact, too, so perhaps they'll use it to their advantage!
↪ when riley returns from his hunt for medicine, he comes back with one antibiotic! this will help fight infection.
↪ riley's usage of the bandaid on jenna's injury will help keep her wound from getting dirty, thus preventing infection.
