You decide to sniff around for something else. After a few moments of smelling nothing but meadow grass, you notice the sun falling and the moon was starting to rise. It was time to head back to camp. Your stomach rumbles.

You decide to try something different and head towards the river. Remembering from what you learned from your mother wolf and watching the older wolves, you crouch at the edge of the river, waiting.

You retrieved your hare and carried it back to camp. You drop it onto the prey pile proudly. From the corner of your eye, you see your mother wolf looking at you proudly. Your stomach growls loudly.

You take the pigeon and carried it back to camp. You drop it onto the prey pile proudly. From the corner of your eye, you see your mother wolf looking at you proudly. Your stomach growls loudly.

You go back to camp empty-jawed. Your stomach growls and you look shamefully at the prey pile. From the corner of your eye, you see your mother wolf resting at the corner of camp.

Crouching low, you make sure every pawstep was light. Your eyes are focused on the rabbit.

Lo and behold, you find the squirrel collecting food in a flat surface of the forest, littered with acorns. You stalk the squirrel for a few more moments, getting as close as you can. You made sure you made no sound and that your pawsteps were as light as it could be. At the right moment, you leaped from behind the underbrush, startling the squirrel. Luck seems to be on your side as the squirrel couldn’t react fast enough and you pinned it down with one paw. You give it a killing bite. The scent of prey makes your stomach rumble.
