If you're looking for a friendly face and an ear to listen to
your sorrows you need look no further than Fieldclan. The
cats of Fieldclan are as sunny as the flowers that bloom in
the fields they inhabit and would never begrudge another
friend to speak with. Living so close to twolegs as they do,
some cats might be loathe to call Fieldcaln a true clan. But
they do as other clans do: hunt for themselves, sleep in the
fresh air, see their ancestors in the waving petals and stars.
Living on a flower farm does not rob them of their freedom,
it only molds it into a form unfamiliar to some clans. The
freedom of family and a safe place to come home- provided
you avoid the tractors and dogs. What more could a cat want?

petalclan, the clan of romance. every cat has an assigned mate and is required to birth a litter of kits as long as the leader sees them eligible for kitting. this clan lives in a western half-grassland and half-forest territory. the two parts of the territory are dived by a calm stream. these cats have a reputation for forbidden romances, but if you ever said that to one of their faces, they’d claw your ears off. these cats are typically romantic, yes, but they are also typically loyal and proud. however, this doesn’t mean their aggressive. they’ll avoid fights, and they prefer allies over enemies. these cats are even quite social, many being friends with most everyone in their clan. however, these cats do not tolerate being talked about behind their backs.

the cats within petalclan are often shortfurred, but all breeds are welcomed. however, disabled cats are frowned upon as many think it’s bad-luck and hat the kits will be weak. if a cat wishes to become another’s mate, they ask beside the stream before they reach the age of 20 moons, the age they are assigned a mate. however, they must consult their leader before this.

the cats of smokeclan have received their name from their territory. the heart of their territory is noted to be dark and troublesome to outsiders as the forest had suffered a fire moons ago and never truly bounced back. in fact, the camp is located at the site of the fire, with the clan cats living among the burned and hollowed trunks of fallen trees. the leader of smokeclan addresses the others from a cropping of rocks, in which their den is located. the greenest and freshest portions of the camp are the nursery - constructed around a sapling where kits are first introduced to climbing - and the medicine cat's den. the surrounding territory branches out from the camp, growing progressively less effected by the fire as it goes. prey in smokeclan territory consists mostly of fish from streams of water throughout the land, mice, and several species of birds. their territory also can grow foggy at night, and when the ash from the fire mixes with the fog in the air at night, it is said that it closely resembles smoke, giving the clan its name.

the cats of smokeclan usually do not have light-colored fur and are more often black or shades of gray. their skills are often seen through their affinity for climbing, finding prey when it seems most scarce, and a generally sharp wit. though they are welcome to taking in outsiders who swear loyalty to the clan and only the clan, it is not often that they are seen to play well with other clans, preferring to stick to the outside and watch. their hostility is not open, but they are a composed groups of cats, trusting only when they have reason to. cats of smokeclan use the darkness to their advantage, focusing on tracking when apprentices as a primary skill that one must know to advance. when in a fight, smokeclan cats are known to use divide and conquer methods of attack and often refuse to fight on open areas of land. a smokeclan leader is often chosen for an ability of being able to hold a straight face and see through lies over most else, while also not being the toughest to get along with, for the sake of getting along with bordering clans.
