The alpha female tilts her head, a small look of concern on her muzzle as she sees the damage done to her pack mate's nose. "What happened?" Draug sighs. "This scamp bit me on the nose." Chandra can't hold back a laugh, and Draug slinks off to the side of the winter den, curling up for some rest.

The wolves of Snowfall Peak live in a mountainous forest area. Many trees make up the area and there is also many twists and turns in the environment. The wolves use the trees and stones to their advantage by stalking and hunting prey from places the wolves can't be seen. When it gets colder, they move deeper in to the forest where it is more dense. Their winter den is here and (hopefully) out of sight from others.

Wolves of Snowfall Peak are very loyal to each other and don't take nicely to strangers. However, once a lone wolf proves them self and pledges alliance to the Alpha's they are a welcome addition to the pack. These wolves also take their battle and fighting skills very seriously. They train hard and often revise them by doing small assignments. However, fighting amongst each other is strongly discouraged. That take pride in themselves and to others they may appear aggressive. In truth, they can be but only if provoked first.

"Absolutely," replied Brownie, brushing off his concerns. "Us females have been doing this for generations."

Musk's ears twitched in reply. "As you say," he sighed. "I just... I just don't want to lose the pups."

"I won't. I'll take care of myself. Deer will take care of me too, right?" she asked, looking at the hunter. Deer nodded frantically. "See? I'll be fine."

Kirin walked out of den and looked around. This area, this forest will be her new home. Here, she will raise her family and pack. She sniffed and could smell some prey. She turned back in her den and prodded her mate awake.

"Noctis," she said. "Let's hunt." Noctis lifted his head. He gave her a lick on the nose and stood up.
"Yes, that would be best. Together we will raise a strong pack!" he announced.
"I guess so. Although, it's just the two of us," she said.
"For now, yes. But it will grow," he nodded and walked out the den. He turned back towards her before trotting away. "Oh, and you may be my mate but still you should listen to me. Any orders you want to give you pass them through me first." Kirin scrunched her nose up.

"Oh please... How old do you think I am? The only one controls me is me," she said with a low growl. Noctis was already gone so he didn't hear her words but she felt better nonetheless. Then she ran off to follow her mate.

the members of starfall pack find their home set in northwest alaska, near the
chukchi sea. the ground is covered in snow, but prey isn't too terribly difficult.
the diet of these wolves varies, from small hares to any caribou they can get
their jaws on. the only members of this small pack are moawa, the alpha female,
and her counterpart, koji, the alpha male. they don't have an officially set home,
and tend to move around a small area. most wolves that find their home in the
starfall pack are calm and peaceful, they try their best to keep peace among
themselves and other packs. don't be fooled though, as their bite is much worse
than their bark.
