- coalstar grows prouder of her clan as it continues to develop
- stagleap is quickly promoted to deputy for his leadership abilities. thornstrike doesn't agree with the decision but keeps it to himself
-coalstar is reunited with her sister, mistyhaze! they have a lot of catching up to do
- swancry joins as lightclan's new medic! despite how young she is, she's very skilled at healing
- pebblekit grows more excited as her apprentice ceremony draws closer

clovermouse - the herb magic den
"take it slow," winterwood advised, his whiskers twitching nervously as littleink scooted across the ground, stumbling over himself,
but he was too concentrated to listen. clovermouse had to admire his determination. after a while of being shut off from others and
not seeing him for a few weeks, the warrior started to practice moving around without use of his hind legs. he visited the herb
magic den nearly every day. "go littleink!" they cheered. littleink seemed pleased with himself, calling back, "i'm doing better!"
clovermouse kept enthusiastically cheering him on.

spiderrun - warrior's den
spiderrun was carefully cleaning out the new nest that the other warriors had helped him set up, trying to get used to it. duckclan
warriors were so nice! there were so many of them too, faces popping up every once in a while to say hello. "hello!" someone called
over to him. "hello," he echoed, glancing over to see who was talking to him. "i'm coco!" the molly beamed. she seemed so cheerful
that he had to smile back too. "i joined this moon too, duckclan's so cool!" "right? the grass is so green! and there are so many cats."
so different from his old home. while he had gotten accustomed to the dark and doom of his cave, he did enjoy the change of scenery.

coco nodded in agreement. "i used to live in the houses." "the houses?" "there's a place with houses nearby," she explained excitedly.
"with humans! you can see if from duckclan, it's just over the hill over there." she gestured in a vague direction. "oh! like twolegs."
was she a kittypet? "yeah i didn't get many of those. i lived in caves, up in the mountains. not sure where they are anymore, it's
really far away." she gaped at him. "a cave? are you a bear?" she seemed so flabbergasted by the idea. he frowned. aren't we
in a cave right now? he glanced around at his surroundings to make sure he wasn't crazy. he wasn't! there was rock wall all
around him. when he faced coco again, he nodded, and in a deadpan voice said, "i think i might be a bear."

she chuckled. he grinned too, pleased that she liked his joke. "oh, also!" she gasped as she suddenly remembered something.
"there's going to be a party next moon! i'm sending out invitations today." a party? he was taken aback. "am i invited?" "of course!
it's the first one in duckclan. i'll be hosting it." she seemed proud that she was a part of the project and delighted to tell spiderrun
about it. "you'll be there, right?"

he had to hesitate. the duckclan cats were nice, weren't they? nearly everyone he met so far was as cheerful as coco was. he
offered her a smile. "i'll be there! where is it going to be?"
