Just a little fun for when you have time to kill

Lostears 9.5/10 - I like teh combination of prefix and suffix that was used, and it has a nice sound to it, plus I like the meaning behind it c:
Frostflower 8/10 - sound lovely. I also really like how it described her appearance but is actually a contrast to her personality
Stoatstep 8/10 - it just seems to fit her perfectly - and I love stoats x'D
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I usually tend to do rather non-traditinal namings, or semi-traditional at times. I dunno why, I just like it x'D
Duskfire - A big, dark brown tabby tom with amber, almost orange eyes. His way of thinking somewhat simle and complicated at the same time and 'unique' He tends to see things differently than others and therefore acting differently, making him seem rather awkward and rude most of the time, but he is acutally a very kind hearted and bold cat.
Stormstriker - pale (greyish) cream, dappled she-cat with bright amber eyes. Rather small and lighly buit, but very fast. She is a very high spirited and optimistic young cat who enjoys life to it's fullest. Very lively and always on the move, loves running and is in awe with thunderstorms. She tends to act very spontaneously without wasting any time on thinking about it, resulting in her doing reckless stuff and getting into sticky situations more often than necessary.
Echosong - greyish-blue, lean she-cat with warm blue eyes. She is blind, but despite that she is happy with her life and doesn't see why her live should be any differet from others. Very kind hearted, caring and soft spoken most of the time but can get VERY fierce when angered. She has a very good memory and a beautiful voice.
I and TigerCat are sisters, and Starbird is our cousin, so we might trade unfairly from time to time

Duskfire - 9/10 I like this name a lot and it is very original
Stormstriker - 5/10 I think it would sound better as Stormstrike, I just don't really like how it sounds with a verb at the end!
Echosong - 9.5/10 I love this name! Although it is already one in the Warrier books. It flows nicely and soots the description
My names:
Nightshadow
Miststep
Cardinalfeather
Blossombush
Redfrost
TURTLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pet's name: Feathered Seas

nightshadow: 4/10, seems redundant and the suffix means almost nothing. i also think -shadow would be considered 'off limits' in a canon setting.
miststep: 7/10, it sounds cute but i'm not sure what -step is supposed to represent. does the cat step like mist? or through mist?? kind of vague.
cardinalfeather: 9/10, i love long names like this. i think cardinal would be a slightly inaccurate prefix since cardinals are really red and it would be strange for a cat to have that coloring, but it's very original.
blossombush: 6/10, i like the alliteration but the suffix -bush isn't very telling.
redfrost: 6/10, i'm not fond of the -frost suffix and it doesn't flow very well.
my system includes only traditional prefixes, but a few nontraditional suffixes.
copperspots - tortoiseshell she-cat with big orange patches. -spots is a weird suffix but it's for stylistic purposes haha.
fawnheart - light brown tom who is hardworking and friendly.
cloudyfur - light gray/white tabby she-cat with no notable traits.
minnowfang - small black she-cat who is good with hunting and fighting.
honeystream - light ginger and white tom who is an exceptional swimmer.

Copperspots- 6/10 Kinda weird, cats don't know what copper is. And I like ' spot' better than ' spots'
Fawnheart- 9/10 Love the prefix and suffix!
Cloudyfur- 7/10 Meh, ' Cloudy'. Cloud would be more smooth to the talk.
Minnowfang- 5/10 Sorry, minnows are fish.
Honeystream- 8/10 ' Honey ' is awesome, so is ' stream', but for a tom?
My names:
Fallowstripe- light brown tabby she cat with green eyes
Kestreltail- mottled brown tabby tom with long, winding tail
Doveheart- silver and white tabby she cat with blue eyes
Cricketsong- tortoiseshell- and - white tom with green eyes and a hoarse mew

Fallow -- 8/10 not my favorite
Kestrel -- 9/10 fits and nice, but something throws me off
Dove -- 9/10 Nice but ive seen it several times before.
Cricket -- 10/10 omg cute o:
-- TRADITIONAL
Honeyflower;; a pale golden she-cat with white paws, chest, chin and tail tip. grey eyes.
nurturing, gentle nature and patient with kits. in fact, she adores the little buggers, but is infertile. however, she acts as a nursery aid instead of taking on warrior duty due to being unable to fight well and a lack of a sense of smell, making her struggle with hunting.
honey-- ;; honey-gold base coat
--flower ;; nurturing/caring nature
Hawkstorm;; a deep, chocolatey brown tom cat mottled with a lighter brown. white splotches on chin, chest, belly and paws/legs. one light brown patch over left eye and violet eyes (please don't hate on this factor ;v; if possible in humans, I like to include it in characters of all species ;v;). missing his back right leg.
he has a wild spirit, being a bit reckless and unpredictable. as a younger cat, he enjoys causing some trouble. he definitely sticks out in the clan. he has decent hunting skills and great fighting skills, and enemies never know what he's planning.
Extra notes;; homoromantic asexual, trait causing violet eyes also causes infertility, lisp
hawk-- ;; brown mottled pelt
--storm;; volatile (unpredictable) nature
--NON-TRADITIONAL
Rainsong;; a blue-grey-and-white tom with light grey dappling. White underbelly, chin, chest, neck, legs, tail tip and white patches on his forehead and between his shoulders. Rainsong has one blue eye and one amber eye.
He's usually quiet and unsure of himself, though also being an open book. However, his family and friends see a different cat. They get his mischievous side, where he plays around and pulls tricks, or his talkative moments. Some days they can't get him to stop talking or laughing. Rainsong has an interesting quirk of memorizing birdsong and identifying birds from it. His mate is Snowadder, and he represents me.
rain-- ;; blue-grey pelt with lighter dappled pattern
--song ;; to most he's gentle, soft-spoken, honest // potentially due to his knack for memorizing songbirds by their calls
Snowadder;; a white-and-cream she-cat with pale olive eyes. She has cream splotches on her white pelt and sharp fangs.
Snowadder is generally an open, outgoing cat that's willing to make friends. However, she worries easily and has anxiety. She has a sharp tongue sometimes and often picks fights or arguments, even with her mate, Rainsong, though those are usually playful. Snowadder is a loyal cat and a fighter. Represents my girlfriend.
snow-- ;; light colored pelt
--adder ;; sharp tongue, rough/fighting nature

@wakame: yes, honey for a tom. cats don't care about gender. prefixes denote appearance and that's all.
honeyflower: 9/10, cute! i also think her bio is really interesting.
hawkstorm: 9/10, i'm not hating on the violet eyes thing, but it doesn't occur in humans. if you're talking about the alexandria's genisis thing, that's fake, as explained there. sometimes blue eyes look purple, but that's pretty much the only time humans have anything close to purple eyes. it would be cool though! i like the name and the cat, he sounds like a sweetie.
rainsong: 7/10, i'm not really a fan of the -song suffix but i think the explanation behind it is intersting and plausible.
snowadder: 6/10, it's one of the better nontraditional names i've seen. the prefix snow- seems a little off, but it's not bad.
my system includes only traditional prefixes, but a few nontraditional suffixes.
smokestorm - mostly black tortoiseshell tom who is boisterous and unpredictable.
linnetfang - brown splotched she-cat.
swiftwing - black and white patched she-cat (named for the bird)
smallflower - tom with an affinity for raising kits, smaller than average.

Smokestorm: 8/10. Smoke- reminds me more of a dark grey cat, but -storm is spot on.
linnetfang: 9/10. very unique, would love to know more.
Swiftwing: 9/10. I LOVE the Swift- prefix.
Smallflower: 10/10. Never seen a tom with -flower! very unique!
-------------
Fogswirl : Light grey and white molly with faded tabby swirl markings. Average skills. Walks a bit lopsided.

I am a non-traditional namer, and will sometimes use prefixes like Wolf-or Sweet- Please don't be offended of my ratings as they are my opinions on the names :3
All 10/10! They're awesome >w<
Applefrost- A reddy-ginger shecat queen with bright green eyes. When in a bad mood, she will shut cats out, or as her friends and clan call it- 'frosting the cats off'. She isn't afraid to hit, but is in general a very nice cat.
Coppermist- A primarily rust/ginger coloured calico shecat who is very quiet. Doesn't talk much, but will happily play a game of hide and seek with a friend. She is quick, quiet and almost silent.
Ashstream- A dark grey Tom with yellow eyes and a free-flowing personality. Hates storms, but loves swimming. He is quick and and swift, and one of the best swimmers in his clan.

Semi-traditional namer, sometimes I lean towards traditional, other times towards non-traditional.
Applefrost - 9/10 I love the sound of this name! I don't think a leader would name a cat after a negative aspect of their personality, though
Coppermist - 8/10 Not sure how I feel about the suffix, but Copper is one of my favorite prefixes
Ashstream - 9/10 Great name, suits him well
