Eagelstar was beyond excited when he saw that a two new members were brought back to camp, especially when it seemed that the two newest members already shared a rare and special bond. He hoped that one day he would be able to find that bond, and it seemed that his own sister was already finding that bond with someone in the clan. He always thought that his sister would be the first mother in the new clan, but it seemed like this newest pair might beat her to it.
Eagelstar himself was starting to to think that it might be best to settle down and ensure that there is at least one original Jinxclan bloodline to continue breeding through the clan, even it this might be the last generation of that. He knew what needed to be done and decided that he would put such a plan into motion.
Binxpool looked at the clan that she had joined, and heaved a sigh of depression. She hated leaving her other clan, and missed her old clanmates terribly. She could only hope that she would be allowed to see them at Gatherings, even though she did not know what had happened to them. She thanked Eagelstar for allowing her into his clan, and took a night to mourn. In the morning she knew that she would resume warrior duties according to what this new clan ordered.
~THE NEXT DAY~
After being given a night to mourn, Binxpool felt ready to resume warrior duties. She did not know this area at all, and hoped that Eagelstar would give her a veteran clan-member to show her around. Eagelstar soon took his place at the top of a dead log that he had made into his den and called for his clan.
"As you all know, this clan has seen it's fair share of hardships, both big and small, and the great name of Jinxclan has pulled through it all. This clan has proven that it is worthy of being in this forest, and by bringing us a Medicine Cat, Starclan has shown that they have not turned their back on us, either!" Eagelstar nodded respectfully to Smokefern as a yowl of agreement arose from the rest of the gathered cats.
"For this morning, we have several new clanmates that need to be shown around." Eaglstar gestured to the three cats sitting at the front of the group, "Hawkfeather, I trust you to take Rainstorm and Splitface out this morning for hunting and to show them the borders. Maplefang, please take Lavendertwig and Orangeclaw out for the Dusk Hunting Patrol. Swalloweye, I trust you to take Binxpool out for the Sun-High Border Patrol and show her the territory. Snowfire and myself will take the Moon-High Border Patrol tonight. You are dismissed!" He stated as he left the stump and went back into it to prepare for his nighttime patrol.
Binxpool looked around to see if she could guess who was Swalloweye. She had no clue, so she just waited for one of the clan to approach her. Hawkfeather already came to get Rainstorm and Splitface, and she was left alone in the middle of camp. She was starting to feel severely uncomfortable when she heard her name spoken from behind her.
"Binxpool?" a timid male voice said, "I am Swalloweye."
She turned to see a young, yet strong looking male standing behind her. She was almost floored by how handsome he was, the sunlight peaking into camp made his pelt shine like fire. Swalloweye was equally struck by the dark beauty that this black she-cat held. He could tell that she was a fair bit older than him, but that did not stop the way he felt. If there was ever a thing called love at first sight, this was certainly it.
The two cats sat and talked until their patrol was ready to go, Swalloweye explaining the histroy and traditions that Jinxclan held close. Once their patrol came, they felt like they had been together for many moons instead of just barely a day, and decided right then and there that they were never going to be without each other. They made a promise, before Starclan, and sealed it in the only way that the knew how.
Eaglestar got up just as a very happy looking Swalloweye and Binxpool returned and got ready to go out with Snowfire. Snowfire was waiting patiently for him at the entrance to camp. Together the two cats left and headed for the border.
"It is a nice night out, isn't it?" Snowfire asked casually as she walked next to her leader.
"It is." He responded as he looked at her, "You know, you have grown into a very beautiful she-cat, Snowfire."
Snowfire blushed as she looked at her paws, "Oh, well, thank you. You are very strong leader, Eagelstar."
Eagelstar was honestly surprised when he was chosen as deputy during that last leg of the journey back to the forest. He had not realized that Jinxstar was going to pass so soon afterward, and it hit the entire clan very hard when it happened. After that, with all the loss that the cats had seen, they had all grown very close. Eagelstar and Snowfire had been pretty close friends, and he could think of no one better to be his mate.
"Snowfire, I would like to ask you a question." Eagelstar began, then stopped; trying to find the right words to say.
"I know what you are going to say." Snowfire said simply as she looked up at him, "and I would be honored."
Both cats smiled happily as they finished their patrol.

Induces vomiting, or brings down swelling, respectively. Can be mixed with comfrey to help heal broken bones. Helps with wounds. Chewing the stems helps fight against infection.
