Cinderstorm- 8/10 'Storm' Works fine, but 'Cinder' is misused. 'Cinder' cats usually have grey or black pelts.
Cinderflight- 7/10 I guess you're using 'Flight' for kind of her being free-willed, but I think 'Storm' works for that.

Looking for a name for Hawkpaw, he is a dark brown tom with bright green eyes, he is skilled at climbing trees but is also a good fighter.

Hi there, raters! I try to be as traditional as possible with my names. I do struggle sometimes. Also, I use different cats each post i make on this thread. I use the help of these; Prefixes, and suffixes. Thank you.

Hawkflight - 1||ten Regarding Hawk- : In England, there are two types of hawks: the Sparrowhawk (which wouldn’t be used, because compound words), and the Northern Goshawk (appears in both Europe and North America, and is black, white and grey in colour, not brown). The cat's suffix does not fit either. Cats cannot fly.

Hawkwing - 1||ten Read above for Hawk- ^^. Any who, -wing is not useful either here. Cats do not have wings because they don't fly.

Hawkclaw - 4||ten Which skill is he better at? I'll raise the rating if I know.

Hawkflight — 7/10; Okay, but the k-f thing between the prefix and suffix is really clunky sounding

Hawkwing — 9/10; My favorite of the bunch. It rolls off the tongue fairly easily and fits his abilities.

Hawkclaw — 5/10; I dislike this one the most, though I'm not really sure why?

Hornetstripe — 4/10 Okay name, but I dislike the prefix Hornet- and the transition between prefix and suffix are a little clunky for me.

Foxnose — 7/10 Okay name, can't find anything wrong with it but I personally dislike the -nose suffix

Ivyfoot — 8/10 I like the name but I normally associate Ivy- with grey cats

Pinestream — 8/10 I like it, but again I usually think of Pine- as a warm-coated cat.

Also, in case you didn't know -flight and -wing are fairly common suffixes for warriors who are good at climbing c:

Pineheart 10/10 I like the name and can find nothing wrong with it. I'm imagining a brave, loyal brown cat.

Oakfoot 9/10 I like it, but it just seems weird for some reason- wait- I think I know why- Oak is a tree kitty with trees for paws O.O Heh heh, I'm actually imagining a speedy brown tom.

Leopardstep 8/10 I like it, but do they step like a leopard or are they graceful? I'm imagining a large ginger she-cat with spots that are brown or black.

Extras: The fact that Pineheart and Oakfoot are siblings fits purrfectly, seeing as I imagine them both being brown.

Since Hawkie is out of the way, looking for a name for...
Reedpaw! He's a sandy coloured tom with blue eyes and is care-free, ignorant, and witty. However he is smart and brave.

I don't rate traditionally, although it is an interesting method, I find that it's rather a limiting one as well.

Shadestripe | 8/10 | I was never a fan of names with the prefix 'shade', but this does make sense.
Shadeheart | 8/10 | Heh. It's actually sorta funny about what the names seems like it means and what the suffix actually means, shadeheart sounds like a cruel name/cat but actually, heart means having/displaying deep loyalty to themselves and the clan.

I suggest looking for names you think flow well, for example, Shadedapple doesn't have a very good flow on the other hand, Shadestripe has a better flow.
