Rinveur looked out at the vast fields from his perch on the highest branch in the tree, bathed in the light of the setting sun. The weather was warming from freezing to brisk, but Rinveur still felt saddened. His vision was coming together, and he was living in the best place of all, with those he trusted, but he needed more than friends.
He just didn't know it.

Everloc was also outside. On another branch, a bit farther down Nevermoore's trunk. She shouldn't be up yet, and should be in her hollow, waiting for training to begin, but she had to come out here. She had to fly.
She felt the pull of the Will-winds, the racing, freezing, sharp winds that came for nearly four days, just before spring slipped into summer.
Soundlessly, she took off, and let the low-lying winds pull her along.
The tall grass brushed against her wingtips, and she shouted happily. The Will-winds brough cold with them, and for the time that they were there, the grass frosted over.
She felt the winds in every feather of her being, and without even thinking she twirled in the air, entranced by the way the world rolled with her.
Her eyes were watering and the wind had blown the feathers of her face every which way, but her heart still beat with the thrill when she returned. It was dark now.
Privth was waiting for her there, and Everloc dipped her head respectfully to the Brawler, before walking past him. She barely got two steps into the hollow tree when Privth cleared his throat.
"I saw you in the fields." Privth grunted.
Everloc's heart sank.
"I'm not in trouble, am i?" She asked.
"No. Your barrel roll was impressive." He chuckled. "Tell me, have you considered what class you'll choose?"
"Not really." She responded, itching to get back to her hollow before Rinveur came and she was really in trouble.
"Hmm..." Privth hooted. "Perhaps you should think about being a springer. An owlet of your skill would be a welcome addition." He complimented her.
"Okay... I'll think about it. Bye!" She called, and hurried to her hollow.
"Curious..." Lyze murmured as Everloc hurried by, but the young barn owl didn't hear.

The shadowwatchers make their home in the colder parts of north America. the are know to stay in the shadows and willingly attack other owls. They will let any owl join them if they promise they will stay with the shadowwachers.

Most of the owls are snowy ows, but they also have Other owls. Forray they hunt mice, shrews, other birds, and the occasional rabbit.

The king is the the leader of the parliament and must always be male, the queen is second In charge and the king's mate. The queen will only lead if their mate dies ANF when the queen dies she most choose a new king. The herbal is the healer of the parliament, they care for all the other owls. The pray-trappers are the owls that hunt for the rest of them. The attacklings are the owls that will defend the parliament at the cost of their lives. Flightlings are the owls that are training to become a pray-trapper, attacking, or herbal. The broodies are going to or have owlets to care for. The owlets are the baby owls. Egglings are a group of unborn owlets that will be named. The retired owls are elders.

Weather Event: The Dynasty was hit by a sudden tornado. Thankfully it was just a low grade tornado and did not last long. It did not interfere with any patrols.

Rinveur alighted on the branch right outside of Lyze’s hollow, and cleared his throat loud enough for the great horned owl to hear over her hammer.
“Enter.” She shouted and he stepped inside. The scent of the fire hit him, despite owls having poor senses of smell, it was nearly overwhelming. “Why can i help you with?” She asked sharply, as her tone was always brisk, no matter her mood.
“I’m not entirely sure, i suppose i just wanted someone to talk to.” He sighed.
Setting town her tools, Lyze turned to him.
“What’s on your mind?” She asked. He looked over at her. Despite her stern nature, she had a comforting presence, of strength and stability.
“I don’t really know. It just feels like something’s missing from my vision. I just can’t put my talon on it.” He shrugged.
Lyze hesitated for a moment, thinking.
“Is it a something or is it perhaps a someone?” She suggested. Rinveur pondered this. Perhaps she was right.
“Maybe i need help leading.” He admitted.
“Like a captain?” She asked, ear tufts perking up slightly.
“Like a mate.” He corrected. He hoped this was the right idea.
“So you’re saying that you need to find yourself a queen.” She said slowly, nodding her head slowly.
“No. More like a king.” He responded carefully. This could go south. It had with many owls before. To his surprise, she nodded.
“I have to be honest with you, i’m not surprised.” She chuckled.
“You’re fine that i’m gay?” He asked, smiling. She laughed even harder.
“Rinveur i would never judge you for that, it’s who you are and it’s great you’re so accepting of it! Besides, you’re not the only one!” She grinned, then flew out.
“Wait, Lyze is Lesbian?” He wondered aloud. He never would have guessed.

they are described in two words. utter control. complete and utter control.

they refer to themselves as 'the descendants' -- and they have learned from their ancestors'(not really 'ancestors' per say -- but they refer to themselves as that) past mistakes. they do not talk about their ancestors, but have taken the original 'pure ones' culture, and developed it to match the times. they hide in plain site, this parliament makes it's ruthless nest in the caves and tunnels of the charyn canyon in asia. like st. aggie's, they 'collect' 'orphan' owlets, and bring them to the canyon.

religion ; like the pure ones', but slightly different. they do not judge the level of a barn owl's purity by how much white they have on their face, but by a series of tests that include.. some horrendous things. tytos are always at the top, and are always treated differently than other owl species. if the owl is not a tyto, then they must prove themselves (usually results in the owl's death). they do not believe in gods/otherworldly things. they believe that there is no life after death, and talking religion with them is a very touchy subject. (so when I will 'request' an owl -- it'll be one of the owl's going out and scouting for that specific one I guess)

ranks ;
king(or the 'higher tyto) - usual.
queen(the 'purest') - takes care of matters that the king does not want to attend to. is his right hand and the face of the parliament.
lieutenant(s) - the king and queen's heirs.
healer - matron. just a healer. always a barn owl.
healer's apprentice - often a cripple, or 'broken' in some way.
sergeants - always barn owls, rarely any other type of owl. same thing as soldiers, just treated with more respect.
soldiers - 'lower' warriors, even if they are the same thing as sergeants, there are never barn owls in this rank.
workers - any other owl who is not good with fighting. they help organize the food and clean up.
trainees - are training under a worker or a soilder.
mother owls - owls(can be any other rank when they are not taking care of owlets) that take care of 'orphans.' they are given a random batch of eggs to keep warm -- but never their own.
orphans - owlets. 4-5 are assigned to one 'mother' owl. mother owls are required to give up their eggs upon 'laying.' this is so that they do not get attached to the owlet inside. after they become 6 moons, they become trainees. the only exception to this are the king and queen's owlets.

The Parliament Of Shadows lives in Central America in an abandoned cave. The cave gives enough space for all of the owls to live and to hunt. All of the ranks of owls get a cave, but the bigger the rank (owl wise) the more space they get. For example, the king gets the smallest due to there just being one.

The owls are known to be secretive and sly. They are always trying to keep from others and would rather patrol and hunt alone. It is very rare for an owl to be nice in this parliament. Of course it can happen, just not a ton.

They eat mice, shrews, voles, and any other small animals. They stay clear of bats and weasels because they can spread sickness among them.
