”Marwan!” The young lord whirls around, eyes snapping to where Gabriella, the Realm’s first scavenger, grappled with a walker, it’s maw open wide and a feral hiss spitting from its mouth. A shudder rolls down his spine - it reeks of death and decay.

But he cannot be afraid.

Howling a battle cry, Marwan spots a thick, heavy branch a few feet away on the ground. Taking it, he grips it tightly in both hands before he sprints towards Gabriella and the walker, swinging it down onto the back of the walker’s skull. It crumpled, but he knows it’s only a temporary setback.

”Are you hurt?” He turns to his companion, who shakes her head. ”C’mon then, lets head back.” The two run away, Gabriella snagging a piece of scrap metal from the ground as they go.

(( bridgit narrowed her eyes as she spotted a silhouette moving on the horizon. "undead at one o'clock!" she shrieked, gripping her small pistol tightly in her right hand. she would not hesitate, she could not if it meant the difference between life and death for her child. her left hand rested lightly on her bulging belly, but she hesitated as she brought her pistol up to aim. the silhouette was not moving in the jerking steps that were typical to the undead. "hold fire!" she yelled, and then turned to cameron. "it's a survivor, go get them," bridgit commanded, and cameron nodded before placing a hand on bridgit's belly. with that, he flung himself out of the second story window and landed on his feet.
bridgit watched as cameron's steps were light against the pavement, carrying him forward as if he were flying. she saw him skid to a halt, and then turn around and begin walking back. bridgit let out a sigh of relief, her husband was safe. she would not let their child grow up without a father, even if it meant keeping him inside the hotel for the rest of his life. the survivor was brought to the steps of the hotel, and deposited in front of bridgit. "introduce yourself," bridgit commanded, sweeping her arms around the room as her ruin riders stood behind her.
"my name is melanie coleson, and i'm here to join your survivor group. i promise, i haven't been harmed by any undead," she whispered just barely loud enough for people to hear, and bridgit smiled.
"welcome to the ruin riders, melanie!"

it was a fortress built to be impenetrable, but with new life being born inside the court, came death with it.
most of the people who lived inside the court (rather before it was an apartment complex) had been there
the entire apocalypse. but the only survivor after the massacre was the only person who had been on the
outside when the apocalypse first began. she was keen on surviving, though a part of her wished for the
life she knew before. with her mother, father, and sister dead, all she had to hold onto was her self and
her sword. though the court was no longer a fortress with walls down and crops dead, the sole survivor
stayed in hopes of rebuilding what was once there before. for my founder i'm requesting eliza taylor
as a fc and a sword as her weapon! i will need an alycia debnam carey fc later on if possible!

Mounted atop the black friesian mare Zenzi, Antoinette scouted the now barren town of Mount Volans. She had survived a year up in these mountains, alone, except for the company of the horse she rode upon and a young bison she named Wynn. She survived with a small group for the early months of the apocalypse, although they had all passed to the realm of the undead in a span of a few saddening months.

　Antoinette tightened her grip on the leather reins she held, cringing mournfully as she thought of her friends last moments of sanity, all eventually drifting away into a sate of anger and hunger. A soft exhale from the friesian had sent the governor out of her horrific memories, earning Toni a quick shake of the head before giving a quick click of her heels against the friesian's body, gentle urging her to move into the trot. "Come on, Zenzi, lets go home."

— iv. antoinette succesfully finds one egg and one apple while hunting, but runs into a very aggressive wylf while on her way back home. zenzi helps hr chase it off, but antoinette suffers an open wound. one bandage or one post of rest will be needed for it to heal.

the sharks is a group formed by ex-atreyum royal, valeria freeman, the younger sibling of jericho freeman. as she grew up close to the ocean, she took a liking to sharks and their powerful abilities, taking note of the stereotype and stigma that surrounds sharks. with all of that said, valeria left the oceanic lifestyle for a secluded space within the smoky mountains of tennessee, inhabiting an abandoned castle-esque mansion that overlooks what was once a white water rafting town. the mansion is equipped with a completely underground bunker and an intact conservatory. /// in short, the sharks are often described as cutthroat, hardcore, and coldblooded.

valeria does not require that the sharks follow her religion, but she personally is a follower of kuatina(koo-UH-teen-UH), a quartet of three gods and one goddess. merida, the sole goddess and front of the quartet, represents fire. the gods, markus(earth), mitch(air), and michael(water), are the lesser gods. this religion is considered universalism. she picked this up from her family before leaving atreyum- valeria sees the deities for what they really can be- dark and mysterious.

━ upon joining the sharks, new members are tattooed. in order to be tattooed, you must be sixteen years of age or older. the tattoo is an identifiable marker that shows loyalty and honor.
━ upon joining the sharks, names are subject to change at any given point. there may not be more than one of any name within the sharks.
━ all recruits are to be trained in hand to hand combat despite their choice on their choosing day.
━ at the request to join the sharks, the ns is to do a wellness check and a physical on the requester. if the requester shows any signs of being infected, they are subject to quarantine/imprisonment or death.
━ children ages 2-15 must attend classes to prepare them for the real world. classes include but are not limited to: survival studies, food identification/handling/prep, zom ID(zombie identification and handling), combat(hand to hand, ranged), MED(medicine and herb usage), drivers safety(if permitted), firearms safety(if permitted) and general education classes.
━ if an inbetweener would like to become an ns, they must pass a spoken knowledge exam with a 95% or better. if they fail, they may not try again and must choose from one of the three mass ranks.
━ couples/single parents are not permitted to have more than two children of their own.
━ the adoption of non-shark children must be approved by the jaw or the inker with a wellness check and physical performed by the most experience ns.
━ if a member of the sharks is infected, they are subject to death. this is a law that goes into action upon being tattooed.
━ when a sharks member dies, their family is able to vote on how the body will be removed. the option are cremation and river sending. if the family cannot come to a conclusion, the jaw or the inker will make a decision for them based on the COD and condition of the body.
