Swaying Leaves
Number of Cats: 3: 2 Females; 1 Male.

"Where is this famous camp then?" Adira asked haughtily to Valerie, looming over the ocelot in an attempt to intimate her so she could run and stop being bothered by her. "Right here!" Valerie purred, her gaze bright as she faced the stepping stones, barely visible under the high waters. Without hesitation she bounded across, before gesturing with her tail for Adira to follow. The leopard followed hesitantly, a brave face on. "Scared?" the ocelot grinned, waiting by the shores as the leopard crossed. "No!" Adira arched her back with a hiss, looming over the leader with her claws out. As she pounced at the ocelot Valerie hasily jumped over her head, disappearing behind Adira. As the leopard let a purr rumble in her throat in satisfaction something landed on her head. "Don't fight, this is a place for safety for now." with that Adira flattened her ears, only to be ignored gleefully by Valerie. "I'm not calling you a coward.
It's just this place is dangerous." with that Valerie's eyes grew serious, and Adira realized she was promised a chance to survive in the tropical forest.

"You're Elwood?" Elwood's ears pricked up as he shoved his herbs into a hole in one of the trees. "It's the famous herb collector." Valerie teased. Elwood playfully flattened his ears, eyes sparkling. "I collected more flowers, as you asked." he grinned, gesturing to a pile of random flowers picked up while he collected real herbs. "Adira, this is Elwood the flower collector. I'm Valerie the founder. Welcome!"

weather: during spring, birthings will go smoother than any other season. however, due to the snow from winter melting, your dowt will be at a high risk of flooding. prey seems to be coming out of their holes, as well as possible new dowt members.

weather: it is getting warmer! green-leaf is just around the corner. prey and herbs are flourishing, kittings will pass smoothly, greencough and whitecough are extremely uncommon. cats will be more abundant and willing to join the dowt. be wary, though - predators are also plentiful!

The Whispering Willows is well known for their fierce loyalty and peaceful nature. They prefer peace over fighting and will often find a peaceful solution. However do not let their docile nature fool you for they are also fierce fighters. The Territory
is mostly woods with a large beautiful lake at the heart of it. Down by the lake is a large peninsula island with a large old willow tree that looms over part of the water. Here is where the pack as set up camp. It's the most secured spot in their territory with only one way to get down to the pack's camp. This gives them a good advantage to see if an attack is coming.

When of age apprentices who are ready to move up in the ranks are sent out in to the forest to track down the pack's sacred prey. The elk. The pack uses both the meat and the pelt. The meat is used to keep the pack feed for a while. The pelt is normally used for either nests or used as instillation for dens.

Every green-leaf the pack holds a special celebration to welcome pack the prey and the coming of future cubs. They also hold a vigil on the full moon, where they sing to the stars to thank their ancestors for getting them through another leaf-bare. During this celebration all pack members participate in hunting, playing, and sparring no matter the rank. This means Omegas are free to join in with out having to worry about being punished. All ranks;excluding king/queen ranks; are treated the same.

When morning came, so did the good news. The lynx cub had recovered in the middle of the night and with some rest, he was completely healthy. Before the sun had even risen, he was awake, pouncing playfully on sleeping Callista's swaying tail. The young cat was exhausted from the previous night and having watched over the cub for many hours, but she powered through it, allowing him to entertain himself. "What's your name?" she questioned softly, watching him through half-lidded eyes. He purred happily, exclaiming "Felix!" before returning to his little game.

Shortly after, Rhea had woken with a mwrol, her chest rising and falling at a quickened pace. Callista, now completely awake, padded over to her, aware of what was happening. She hushed the older she-cat, hoping her comforting words might help her to relax. While she birthed, she would break off pieces of the honeycomb and push them towards Rhea, pleased when she would accept and eat them. It was a long process, but after many hours, two precious cubs were brought into the world, both curled up against their mother's warm tummy, seeking shelter under her fur. Rhea began to groom them both, pride flickering in her eyes as she watched over her children. She looked up at Callista who remained by her side, taking in the new ones with fondness. "Thank you," she spoke softly. Callista smiled, nodding in understanding before picking up Felix and leaving the home so they could rest.

Felix trailed behind Callista as she walked round the borders of their abandoned village, her nose high in the air, smelling for anything that might be out of place. "What are we doing?" he mewled out of curiosity, walking in her shadow to block the sun that was beginning to peak out from the horizon. "Protecting our family," Callista hummed after a moment of thought. Now that she thought on it, Felix might make a good warrior - she could show him the routes through the tiny village and when he was old enough, he could take over patroling the borders during the nighttime.

A strange sound alerted her, her ears perking up as she gazed in the direction the sound had emitted from. Instinctively, she covered Felix with her body, hoping to protect him in case it was a less friendly stranger. From the shadows, Alekos appeared, a limp gazelle clenched between his fangs. Callista lit up, bouncing over to him with excitement - it had been so long since she had eaten such large, delicious prey! So absorbed in the new meal was she, that she hadn't noticed the unfamiliar scent of another cat until they spoke. "This is your family?" The ocelot tom questioned, his voice sounding rather uninterested, though he watched the two closely. Alekos dropped the carcass, nodding. It wasn't a spoken agreement between the three, but they all knew they needed each other now and that they would survive best if they remained together; especially with Rhea having just given birth to two cubs.

"Who is this?" Callista inquired, her head tilting ever so slightly as she looked him over. He was rather handsome, a bit aloof but seemingly strong enough if he had managed to take down a gazelle, even with Alek's help. The leopard chuckled almost sheepishly, his ears flattening against his skull.

"He, uh, helped me with the gazelle. On the condition he could eat his share of it. I hope that's alright," he muttered, shifting on his large paws. Callista couldn't help but laugh, understanding he was probably worried he had agreed to give up food without her knowledge. "Of course. You're more than welcome to stay and join us for the night," she told the ocelot, who's only reply was a grunt before grabbing his half of the gazelle. The two toms dragged it up the stairs, pulling the heavy beast into a separate house, the designated kill pile. The four of them ate together, bonding over their meals. When they finished their fill, Alek took a piece of the gazelle to Rhea, while Callista bid the ocelot farewell.

"You could stay. If you liked," she spoke when he began his descent back down the staircase. He hesitated, turning back to look at her for a brief moment, seeming to think over something. "Perhaps," he finally answered, continuing down the stairs before he would disappear into the night.

Swaying Leaves

Valerie crouched before the stepping stones, harnessing her strength, before leaping over where they used to be in one bound. The hungry waters had now hidden the stones from her sight. As she began to walk she heard voices. "-do you think we can do?" the nearest voice, a little muffled, came to her ears as she pricked them up. Valerie looked behind her and quickly stepped to the side as Elwood came tumbling after her, nearly falling into the water. "Wait!" he panted as he sprang after her, alerting the whole forest. "Now look what you've done. The entire forest knows we're here! And go hunt if you like doing it so much." a second voice growled. The voices were coming closer. "It wasn't me who made that noise! Why can't you hunt with me?" the first voice asked hopefully. "They are coming! Be quiet!" and with that the two cats cut off, making lots of rustling noises. Valerie jumped quickly through the undergrowth, and flicked her tail for Elwood to go on the other side.

Enyo flicked her tail irritably. The noises were coming closer. As she arched her back, prepared to fight, the rustling stopped. Four eyes were staring from the bushes at her. As soon as she sniffed the air an aroma of tropical water and fish and flowers and herbs hit her, causing her to recoil. The scent of herbs grew stronger as a lynx carrying some flowers with an ocelot charged forward. Golan simply was frozen, causing her to hiss in his defence despite the fact that he was a furball who was far too cowardly to defend a twig, and defending his mate seemed to be out of question. "Are you going to do anything?" she growled to Golan, who simply shook his head in defeat. "We come in peace!" the younger one mewed, taking no note of the fact that she was being hissed at. "I come with a flower gatherer who would not hurt a fly." the 'flower gatherer' whispered something about defending predators but the ocelot shook her head in denial. With hesitant steps Golan walked forward to them, dipping his head to them. Enyo hissed but for once he did not back down, and continued walking. With a huff of frustration the leopard followed him.
