AHHH this one was for Razors. Should have put a mark down before starting on this but I didn't know it would take this long. So answering both Razors and Ten
Sorry, Razors, I didn't pick up Aki because I know the character, and it was hard for me to think of new/fresh characterization for a character I actually already know well.
I get this kind of... cyberpunk vibe from Finn.
Like I imagine him from a space-opera era, but more the... outskirts of society. Where there's political unrest and social upheaval. I imagine he's from the part of a city that the middle to upper classes avoid and try to pretend don't exist. Sure, there's still futuristic tech found here, and it seems more advanced than our modern society by leaps and bounds, but everything there is just grungy, dirty, and you're required to fight for what is yours and to eek out a living the best you can. I imagine it's not unusual for him to see people begging, starving in the streets or to see kids without parents work as hard as any adult has to, just to survive.
I imagine Finn as the loner type. He's survived on his own for so long that he doesn't even know how to get close to people anymore. But he does care about people so much that it hurts him to walk by these people suffering, and when he has spare coin he probably drops as much as he can afford to into the pockets of rail-thin children that pass him on the streets.
Speaking of, he's probably an expert pick-pocket and has probably stolen from the "upper crust" people in the city way more than once or twice. He generally picks the most unpleasant seeming businessmen to target. He doesn't get the chance to do this often, as in his usual attire he is a stark contrast to the cleaner, 'safer', sectors of the city. He does not pick-pocket his clients though.
I think he would have a building he works from and lives in (perhaps an abandoned doctor's office from back when his part of the city wasn't just complete slums-- maybe abandoned 50-75 years ago.) The building was probably in horrible disrepair when he found it-- crumbling structure, mold, water damage. But over time he's managed to fix up the place. It's still awful on the outside, but it's clean on the inside (if a little disorganized, because I imagine he's very disorganized) There's probably quite a bit of clutter, and various bits of furniture that are mismatched and worn, but clean (the furniture is all abandoned furniture he finds, but even if he could have matching furniture, he probably wouldn't. He likes his 'home' as is)
I think he'd be good with tech. Rich snobs probably come to his office to get things fixed up that are... morally gray at best and totally illegal at the worst. Want to catch your husband cheating on you? Get a tracker from Finn. Want to get a nice bit of tech that alerts you to when your name is mentioned on the police's network? Come to Finn for that too. If you want a new ID chip? Well, Finn is probably your only option, and only then if you have quite a bit of money to burn. Speaking of, if you want anything from Finn actually your best bet is to bring your billfold with you, because he definitely needs more money for his own experimentation (and of course to drop into the pockets of children who need it more than he does, and certainly needs it more than the usual snotty customers Finn ends up taking on)
I had a lot more than this, and a whole outfit in my mind, but I just realized that Ten posted before I finished this, but I will leave it it regardless and still get Ten.
This one is for Ten
I see Isaac as the kind of guy that tends to stay quiet, and tends only to speak when necessary. He does like to be heard when he has something to say, but he doesn't like to interject his thoughts to be heard until he's formed them and is willing to share.
The truth is, underneath his gentlemanly and quiet demeanor, Isaac is ruthless. He's charismatic when he does speak, absolutely great at turning the room to his favor and good at making friends but he himself is ruthless and untrustworthy. There's some darkness hidden in him that he doesn't show to others or share, and keeps it below this cool exterior that he's built for himself. His outer shell is tough, and as of yet no one seems to have broken through to it all the way.
I imagine Isaac's voice is nice, soft, and soothing, which helps people trust him more easily-- and don't think he doesn't take that to his advantage. He surrounds himself with people that trust him implicitly, and who themselves are very trustworthy and loyal (even if he still doesn't trust them, of course, because why would he do more than pretend to trust others?)
It's not that Isaac relies on anyone either, he'll take company and he'll accept help from those who are loyal to him, but he doesn't crave on their attentions either. He'd be just as happy going along his way on his own, but he does admit their are advantages to forming relationships with others. I see him as a businessman. Pretty well off, and pretty well dressed. He's good at making deals, and his quiet demeanor and general gentleman-like qualities pleases both his bosses and the investors in their company. I don't think the company is on the up and up, I tend to think there are things going on behind the scenes that are... well at least morally wrong but probably really illegal.
He doesn't seem to mind whatever it is that the company is up to. He could care less whether something is legal or not, as long as they're careful and he doesn't get caught.
Thoughts on his love life, since you mentioned it first; I think he has a hard time trusting others. I think that the couple of serious relationships in his life have been serious for him too, but I think the men that he's seen as serious, in the end, still didn't think he took them seriously enough and that's why their relationships didn't really last. They feel like he hides things from them (which, to be fair, he does) and they take that as him not seeing them as equals/viewing them as serious and so the relationships end in ugly ways. He never begs them to stay, not out loud, but he's heartbroken when they leave. he doesn't know what to say or how to get them to stay, and so he watches them walk away as his heart grows colder and more distant.
In truth, he still want to find someone to love, someone he can trust, but he's not found the balance yet. It would take a really special kind of person to open him up, and even he doesn't realize this.
He tends to date pretty casually though, perhaps in hopes of finding a man eventually who seems like the right fit.
For mine I have Soliel
He's male. Pretty young (late teens/early twenties) and has a loving adopted papa (so please nothing about parents who neglected him, because he is very loved)
Other than that, go wild!
