I think this is a trick question because in order to help someone you have to an extent know what they are feeling/thinking. Sometimes you can hurt people by imposing what you believe is best for them on them. Thats how you unintentionally hurt someone. I think your thoughts and actions matter equally.

depends on the movie, but yeah i'm not a big fan of action movies. it often feels like once the setting has been established, the plot will be extremely predictable.

(actually not sure how unpopular this is, but my immediate friendgroup disagrees, so.) if there's a movie based after a book, watching the movie first and reading the book after will be a better experience than the other way around

I disagree, because a lot (not all, but a lot) of movies drop details or backstory that the book fleshes out, and the movie makes less sense or is less enjoyable without that context, in my experience. Also, I prefer to read the story and allow myself to visualize the world without the influence of a movie, because oftentimes I've seen settings and designs in my head that make more sense or fit better than the effects the movie portrays. It doesn't apply to everything, but in general, I find that the movies are hardly worth it without the books.

Typing quirks such as leet speak and baby talk are ridiculously annoying. I won't even try to read what's being said because of how disruptive it is. It looks immature. This is a major pet peeve of mine.

I agree somewhat. I do think it's interesting how certain typing quirks or popularised online speech permeates language in general. How we type reflecting how we speak is something that has always been so fascinating to me. That being said there are a lot of typing quirks and as specifically mentioned baby talk that I cannot stand. When a typing quirk might reflect how the typer actually communicates is when it doesn't really bother me too much I guess

We (as general society lol) need to try harder to come from a place of understanding and stop jumping straight to anger when we encounter people with differing opinions to us. I know it can be hard if the opposing opinion comes from a place of aggression but I believe the only way to bridge the divide or attempt to is to listen and respond factually rather than relying solely on emotion based responses.
