Honeyfur had given her apprentice a tour of the territory as was customary. Along the way, she would point out herbs and their uses. She had already known a surprising amount of them. "Alright Morningpaw. What's this?" Honeyfur trotted forward, gesturing to a sweet-smelling plant with puffy yellow flowers. Morningpaw leaned forward to sniff it, breathing in it's strong scent. "Tansy..?" She asked tentatively, suddenly seeming distracted. Honeyfur took no notice, beginning another mini-lecture. "Ah, yes. But this is an odd find. Normally, tansy is best found on the side trail Cinder, on Fawn's Path. I'll have to keep this patch in mind." The golden medicine cat stepped back, shaking out her fluffy fur, and flicking her tail. "Come along now!" She called, but was interrupted by a loud hush as Morningpaw ran over to flank Honeyfur. The nervous apprentice stuttered, "I, uh.. H-hear something.." Honeyfur pricked her ears, hearing the thumping of pawsteps. A young cream tom burst out of the thick bushes, his fur ruffled and covered in twigs and leaves. He yelped loudly, "Morningpaw!" Crashing into Morningpaw, he purred joyously as he shoved his face forward to nuzzle her. "Don't run away like that again! You scared me so bad!" He suddenly whirled around and swiped at Honeyfur, growling protectively, not hearing Morningpaw's quiet protests. "Stay away from my sister!" As the young cat bravely arched his back, Morningpaw hissed at him, smacking the tom on the ear with his paw. He gave her a dismayed look, snarling,"Morningpaw, does loyalty mean nothing to you?!" She took a deep breath, and calmly explained, "Sunpaw. I told you, my destiny is in this clan, not that band of ruffians. You watched them kill our father, you should realize that they're just cruel pieces of mousedung. You didn't have to run after me, because I am not coming back." Sunpaw looked a little hurt, but his eyes eventually narrowed in thought, and he nodded in defeated understanding. His expression gradually became steely and determined, and he lashed his tail behind him. "If you're staying here, I am too."

Wildstorm was sitting down with Dapplewhisker, and they shared a squirrel between them. She heard the telltale rustle of bushes meaning that the patrol had returned. She moved her gaze to them, and noticed a young creamy tom with his ears flattened against his head and his tail draped protectively over a rather agitated Morningpaw. Dapplewhisker swallowed her mouthful of squirrel, waving her tail at greeting to the patrol, shooting a welcoming smile towards the young tom. "Oh, welcome here!" He simply glared back, and Morningpaw rolled her eyes and mewed, "This is Sunpaw, my brother. He wants to join Thicketclan as well." Dapplewhisker smiled at him again, and he looked away and shuffled his paws inward. Dapplewhisker settled back beside Wildstorm, and took another bite of the squirrel. Honeyfur walked past them, mewing, "I think I'm going to sort the herbs again. You help Sunpaw settle in." Wildstorm watched the golden medicine cat stroll by, catching a glimpse of an icy glare sent her way. Wildstorm was puzzled. The medicine cat had always been rather cold, but ever since she and Dapplewhisker had became good friends she had seemingly directed most of her anger towards her. She could guess why, but she's not going to lose a good friend over a jealous medicine cat. She flicked her tail irritably behind her, holding her head high. Dapplewhisker's gentle mew snapped her out of her thoughts. "Hey Wildstorm, anything wrong?" Wildstorm flinched, putting a fake smile on her face to try and convince Dapplewhisker all was alright. "Yes. I'm alright.

Ocrafur followed closely behind Powederbreeze, sniffing the air curiously. Soon, the two cats heard something crashing through the undergrowth. "Ha! Caught ya!" a deep voice said. The two cats looked at each other with worried expression before a large dark tabby pushed through a bush and ran right into them, a squirrel hanging from his jaws. "Who are you and what are you doing hunting on Snowclan territory?" Powderbreeze demanded. The tom looked at the two cats before dropping his squirrel, "Wha'chu talkin' 'bout?" he said in a low southern drawl. "This forest belongs to Snowclan, and that is our prey you just killed!" Ocrafur hissed before Powderbreeze silenced him. "Clan? Oh, like those groups of cats that live together? I have heard about you, my mate has been beggin me to find a group of you for us to join. I keep telling her we can raise our family on our own." The tom continued before look at the two. Powderbeeze shook her head as she looked at the tom, "If that is the case, then you have to do it somewhere else. You can either join our clan or get off our land." She said with a stern glare at the male. "Why don't we join? It will be so much better for our kits." a musical voice spoke from the shadows of an old tree. a little ginger she-cat, obviously heavy with kits, came walking out from among the roots of the tree. The tom looked like he was about to argue, but decided not to. "Fine, but I am not happy about this." he conceded as he picked up his prey and started to follow the two clan cats back to camp.

"Aren't they adorable?" Birdpaw mewed gleefully the instant Minkpaw left the nursery. "They're so tiny!" he agreed, casting a glance back towards the den where Cloudmask's newborn kits were sleeping. "Minkpaw! There you are," Swiftfern mewed as she strode over to the two apprentices. "I was just--""I know, I know," the warrior interjected. "But it's time for training. Come on," she urged. "Will Sparkpaw and I be coming?" Birdpaw asked her mother, exchanging a hopeful look with Minkpaw. "Not today," Swiftfern mewed apologetically, though her eyes flashed with amusement as she glanced briefly between her daughter and Minkpaw. "I believe you two will be joining some of the warriors on a hunting patrol. Let's go, Minkpaw." Minkpaw hesitated a moment to mew a quick goodbye to Birdpaw before rushing after his mentor. Brambletooth padded up to Birdpaw, her brother at his side. "Birdpaw, you will be going with me, Sparkpaw, and Rabbitheart on a hunting patrol. Are you ready?" he asked. Birdpaw stood up. "Sure!" she mewed cheerfully. At the sound of his name, Rabbitheart padded slowly up to Brambletooth. "What is it that you need me for?" he mewed curiously. "Hunting patrol," Brambletooth explained. "I was about to go looking for you, but I suppose we're all here. Let's get moving," he meowed. Rabbitheart padded briskly after him, and the pair of apprentices trailed close behind.

"Sootpelt, can I speak with you a moment?" Robinstar asked, her paws kneading anxiously in the dirt. The long-haired medicine cat squirmed through the medicine den. "Of course..." he meowed cautiously, taking in the leader's worry. Robinstar hesitated a moment, wondering if this was a bad idea, before plunging into the story of what she had seen at the moonpool. When she had finished, Sootpelt's fur had prickled with uneasiness. "But it'll be fine, right? Nobody has died. We're fine," Robinstar mewed dismissively, forcing what she thought looked like a carefree smile. "Robinstar, I think you should take this seriously," Sootpelt warned gravely. "AspenClan could be in danger." But his words fell on deaf ears. "Well, thanks for listening. I'll go patrol the borders, and then we'll be fine. It'll be fine. We're fine," she said, her mew becoming insistent and almost challenging, as if she dared the dark tabby to argue. "Robinstar, maybe you should rest... I have some poppy seeds..." the medicine cat suggested cautiously. "No, Sootpelt. I have a clan to take care of. I'm going on patrol," she meowed decisively. "Cherryclaw, come with me." Sootpelt didn't get the chance to utter another mew before she padded briskly from the den. Cherryclaw jumped up to her paws, scrambling to catch up with the leader. "Is... is Robinstar okay?" Speckledpaw mewed carefully, going to sit next to his mentor. Sootpelt took a deep breath. "Well, apparently she's fine," he mewed dryly. "I heard what she said about the prophecy... What does it mean?" the apprentice asked. Sootpelt met the young cat's gaze for a moment, then averted his eyes. It could be that he didn't know... or that he knew, but was afraid to say.

Tigerstep sighed. He sat by the sacred tree of the clan, slap bang in the middle of the camp. Snowwhisker sneaked up, brushing the tom-cat as he sat down next to him. "What, grumps caught up with you now?" he joked. A hint of a smile danced on Tigerstep's face. "Nah, just contemplating life." Snowwhisker raised an eyebrow. "Alright alright, just looking at these pebbles and having a mid-life existential crisis." he yawned and they both smiled. "We're going to be scarce of food in a while." Snowwhisker looked back at the food pile. "It might be best to catch some more, now we have a growing apprentice." he paused. "I bet you I'm gonna get more prey than you." he teased, and ran/danced. "You're on!" Tigerstep laughed, and chased him into the forest.

Sandstorm swished his tail. He calmly walked, doing his duty as warrior, and patrollin' the borders. He hoped his adopted sister was okay; they had been together for quite some while now. He remembered when he first heard the soft mew, coming from inside a tree. He sighed. Those were old times. Now they had been promised love and care from Petalclan, and he believed them, but if anything went wrong, what would happen to Bluepaw worried him the most. He loved how she looked up to him, and how she was amazed by every little thing he did. And how she always bombarded him with mind-boggling questions. Yeah, Echosong would have a great time with her.

Echosong sat there in her den. Maplestar was asleep now, and the bite was starting to heal well. "Echosong, what happened to that cat?" the medicine cat jumped out of her skin in surprise, and turned back to see a small she-cat with sky blue eyes. She regained posture, and stared back at her with the same piercing gaze. "She is our leader, Maplestar, and she is currently resting from an attack earlier on this month." Bluepaw tilted her head. "Well, I hope she's fine." she padded over and gave Maplestar's ear a small peck. She turned back to Echosong. "Now that I'm your apprentice, can we do herby stuff?" she asked, her eyes widening. Echosong sighed, but smiled. "I guess so. Maplestar needs her rest." and they traveled outside, searching for herbs and teaching Bluepaw what they were and their properties.

Tigerstep and Snowwhisker made the other feel a bit better. They had become close friends and had hoped to become friends with the grumpy Sandstorm, but he refused to talk to them. Ah, well, they were fine with just the company of one another.Tigerstep and Snowwhisker were the perfect hunting duo, and together they snagged a Vole, Rabbit and a crow.. Meanwhile the tough kitty, Sandstorm was padding by the border, his eyes narrowed into slits from caution. The sandy furred cat was taking no chances, lashing his tail, Sandstorm spotted a brown rogue and attacked, hissing, spitting, scratching and biting. ''AND DON'T COME BACK, YOU MANGEY FLEABAG!'' he snarled, watching the rogue turn tail. Sandstorm fought off a rogue but is a bit wounded, needs some cobweb

Bluepaw was trotting obediently after Echosong, her namesake eyes shining beautifully. Flicking her tail, she picked up a plant, and shoved it up into Echosong's face. ''What's this?'' she mewled, jumping when Echosong gasped loudly. ''Goldenrod!'' Goldenrod was found

blueclan warriors are fast, smart, and somewhat sneaky cats. they pride themselves on their intelligence, wit and charisma. their camp is located in a semi-small section of the forest, close to a stream. around their close quarters is a field on three sides, north, west and south. to the east of them is uncharted territory, due to the smells that come from such a place.

blueclan cats are usually skinny, with long legs and muted pelt colors. they can be seen as strange to other cats and clans, due to their unusual body shape. they can also be viewed as strange due to their countless traditions and beliefs, which are somewhat different from the other clans.

blueclan cats are extremely fierce when allies or members of their own clan are threatened. they will go into battle with a plan, and rarely deviate from it. they have an easy time making allies.

Feathersto and Minnowleap cradled their kits. They didn't care about Bouncekit's disability, just concerned about him being bullied by others about it. Featherstorm shooed everyone away except Dapplefeather. "I know you're my mother," she whispered. "Don't worry I won't tell."

"Honeypaw, step forward," Ripplestar meowed. Honeypaw glanced around. She was about to get her warrior name.

"Your first task as a warrior" Splashfur said, after the cheering had stopped and the cats had begun to go back to their duties "You'll be leading a hunting patrol containing Ashflower, Emberblaze, and myself. Ready to go?" Honeyblossom nodded, looking a little daunted about leading a hunting patrol that had the deputy in it "Then let's go! Ashflower and Emberblaze are waiting for us"

And Ebony spoke from experience when she knew how hard it was to fight while expecting. So, she would stay here for now. But as soon as Brackenstar got back, they would be having a little chat that involved her claws around his ears for leaving the two of them alone in camp.

Suddenly Emberstar realized how handsome he was, but she pushed the thought away. Still, her mind wandered to the idea that she should probably take a mate soon. She considered this for a moment before deciding that she would think more about it later.

Around a quarter of the land is a dry marsh, with a single river that marks their western border, that Blazeclan cats will not cross because of their distaste of water. They also have a pond, known as Turtle Pond, that is surrounded by the largest clearing in the territory. It's a very popular spot, where cats meet, train and sun themselves on the large rocks, half-in and half-out of the water.
