An already stressed Pantherstar paced insider her den, the news of the afternoon patrols finally setting in. Once again HazeClan where knocked off guard when two more young warriors died tragically. Although unhappy and sadden by the fact of losing more clan members, the large gray she-cat knew that both Blossomcrest and Flickerfall would be at peace in the Dark Forest with their ancestors. Sighing heavily, Pantherstar flopped down into her nest and closed her eyes. "Just a few moments..." she murmured to herself. No sooner had she closed her eyes did a faint meow catch her attention. "Pantherstar... It's me. Robinheart. We found a tom interested in joining." a soft gentle voice called. With a small sigh, Pantherstar rose to her feet and stretched before exiting her den and greeting Robinheart with a small nod. "I know you're very busy and stressed with everything going on... I..." the ginger tabby she-cat began. Pantherstar gave the other she-cat a small nudge, giving her a small smile. "It's my duty as leader to take care of matters like these. Do not fret Robinheart. You are only doing your job." the gray she-cat meowed. The ginger tabby smiled, dipping her head, leading Pantherstar over to her patrol that afternoon. Upon further inspection a large gray and white tom stood between Whitemoon and Ploverwing, chatting up the other two toms like old friends. Clearing her throat, the patrol quit their chatter, turning their attention to Pantherstar as she made her way over. "My warrior here says your interested in joining HazeClan?" Pantherstar questioned, looking directly into the mysterious tom's eyes. "Please. I'm curious on why. As I ask all newcomers what brings them here." she spoke. Smiling the tom stepped forward, dipping his head a bit. "I've heard a lot about you fellow clan cats and your ways. I've traveled many places , met many cats. For some reason something wants me to stay here. Oh where are my manors, I'm Tundra." the large tom spoke, flashing a charming smile. Unphased by the tom's charm Pantherstar gave a small nod. "Alright, Tundra. From this day forward you shall be known as Tundrapool. Welcome to HazeClan. I'm Pantherstar. Leader of this clan." She spoke.

Across the way the final afternoon patrol padded into camp, Turtledove quickly spotting her daughter from across the way. Smiling the fluffy tortie padded over only to freeze shortly behind Pantherstar. Her smile quickly faded from her face as she stared at the tom in front of Pantherstar. It was like looking a ghost right in the face as her eyes met the familiar bright amber eyes of her former mate. With a quick shake of her head, Turtledove's shock switched to anger and confusion. "Tundra!?" She spat out, her fur slowly beginning to bristle. Upon seeing things escalate quickly, Robinheart dismissed her patrol leaving Pantherstar, Tundrapool, and Turtledove to deal with what was to come next. Upon hearing his name called Tundrapool looked to see where it was coming from, his eyes locking onto a familiar tortie she-cat. Smiling the tom spoke. "Oh hey baby!" Tundrapool spoke, winking at Turtledove. Now confused herself, Pantherstar tilted her head a bit. "What?" she spoke, the word just barley escaping her mouth. Turtledove shot a glare in Tundrapool's direction before closing the gap between her and her daughter. In a hushed tone Turtledove spoke. "Honey... That's... That's your father." she meowed into Pantherstar's ear. Taking a few steps back with a look of pure shock on her face Pantherstar looked from her mother back to Tundrapool. "My what!?" she meowed. Tundrapool was no fool, quickly picking up on the news Turtledove had just dropped on Pantherstar. "Okay, cool! This our kit then Turtle?" he asked in a charming tone. This seemed to only anger Turtledove even more. "How dare you use my former name. It's Turtledove now. And our kit!? Are you kidding me? You mean MY kit correct? I remember you dipping out upon learning I was carrying kits. You gave up your right as her father many many moons ago Tundra!" Turtledove spat. By now the commotion between the three cats had gained every cats attention in the clan. Many cats looked in awe as they witnessed the event unfold before them. Pantherstar took notice, ushering her parents into the leader's den to further discuss in private.

Upon entering her den Pantherstar quickly took charge of the situation at paw. "Now before another word is uttered from either of you I want you both to listen. Mother." She began, turning and looking at Turtledove. "Please, calm down. I can understand how shocked and upset you must be, but think of the clan. With our warriors dying off so quickly these days I can't turn away a healthy strong cat. I'm sorry, but I promise to try and make this as easy as possible for us all. As for you, Tundrapool." Pantherstar meowed, her attention turning to Tundrapool. "You are new here. You will obey our ways and my word. If I catch you causing any more problems with my mother or any cat else I will not hesitate to exile you. You may be my biological father, but you're no father of mine. My fathers, they live in our bordering clan QuickClan. Cyanstar and Falconflight are both ten times the father than you ever where. You will go about your day like the rest of us and you will not call me your daughter again. Now you both are dismissed. We have two young warriors out there who need to have their respects paid. They gave their lives providing for HazeClan. We must send them off to the ancestors now. I also have to get back to Vaporkit, can't leave him with the other queens all day. I am his mother after all." Pantherstar meowed. With a small flick of her tail, the large gray she-cat lead both Turtledove and Tundrapool out of her den. As the trio exited the den, Pantherstar gave a small nod to the clan. "Go to the nursery. I'm sure my grandson is missing his mother. The clan knows you'll pay your respects to Blossomcrest and Flickerfall once you have put Vaporkit to sleep. I'll make sure to control my temper. I love you my little star." Turtledove purred before padding off. Tundrapool stood there in silent shock, his mind trying to grasp the fact that not only did he get to meet his daughter, but he was also a grandfather. "You... You have a kit?"[/i] Tundrapool asked. "I do. Do not get sentimental with me now Tundrapool. You will have nothing to do with my son. You wanted nothing to do with me, so it's only fair. Be happy I'm allowing you to remain in my clan." Pantherstar spoke before padding off the nursery. Tundrapool stood there quietly before grumbling a bit and stalking off to get familiar with the rest of his new clan members.

Kitewhisker paced nervously. It had been a while since Weaselstar had left to return Frostpaw to TwistedClan. He had appointed the deputy in charge. Thankfully, there was no more rogue business, but Kitewhisker was still unsure of her abilities. She took a deep breath and made her way through the gathered cats and perched atop the gathering stone. “Cats of RavenClan, we are here to make three amazing apprentices. Oriolekit, Turtlekit, and Picklekit, you are six moons of age, and are ready to take on your training.” The deputy looked fondly down at the three. Oriolekit was restless, his excitement as vibrant as his coat. Turtlekit was smiling happily, and Picklekit was just looking up at Kitewhisker quietly. The she-cat swallowed. Picklekit had always struck her as strange. She didn’t seem to partake in the usual kit activities, and instead prefered to stay in the nursery. Kitewhisker didn’t persecute the young cat for this, she just didn’t see the appeal. She shook the thought from her head and returned to the ceremony. “Oriolekit,” She called “Please step forward.” The ginger tom bounced to his paws, slightly startling Picklekit, and trotted up to the stone.” Kitewhisker scanned the crowd. “Jaguarslip. You have proven yourself a dedicated and loyal warrior. You are ready for your first apprentice. Oriolekit, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Oriolepaw.” The two toms touched noses, and the new apprentice joined his mentor at the back of the crowd. Kitewhisker continued the ceremony, assigning Turtlepaw and Picklepaw to Cypresstail and Snakewhisper respectively. The three apprentices now sat beside their mentors. All cats were overjoyed, except for Agaricthroat and Riversnap who were whispering nervously as Picklepaw walked away with Snakewhisper.

⚜ ⚜ ⚜ ⚜

Skinknose waited beneath the willow tree that swayed peacefully in the middle of the camp. She looked to the entrance with a smile. Her kits were out on their very first patrol of the territory, and she wanted to be the first to greet them when they got back. She also had burning news for them, and anxiety swirled in her chest. It wasn’t long before she saw a ball of orange rush into camp. Oriolepaw spotted his mother and threw himself towards her. “Skinknose!” He cried with joy “That was so cool! I didn’t know our territory was so unique!” Turtlepaw and Picklepaw followed slowly behind. Skinknose let out a chuckle as she nuzzled her three kits. “Did you two have fun as well?” Picklepaw nodded. “The flower fields were my favorite.” She smiled quietly “They were very pretty and they smelled good.” The she-cat nodded. “Droserathorn and Riversnap love the fields.” Skinknose told them “Maybe Riversnap could tell you some stories about her adventures there.” Picklepaw’s eyes lit up. She didn’t feel comfortable around many cats, but Riversnap was her favorite warrior besides her mother and Snakewhisper. “I liked the marshy part.” Turtlepaw added “I saw some cool tracks in the mud.” The four talked about the patrol for a moment. When a natural lull came, Skinknose grasped the opportunity. “So, I wanted to talk to you about something.” She sighed. The kits settled down, and looked at their mother with concern in their eyes. “I know that you are apprentices now, but you will always be my kits. Your father and I never had a true relationship, and I’m fine with that. In fact, I’ve come to realize that I don’t have a yearning to have a mate. But the thing is, I have so much love to give that I just want a large family. I’ve met another tom. We...we really bonded, and I’m thinking of having a litter with him. But I wanted to tell you before anything was decided. I love you three. You will always be my kits, and my future kits are not meant to replace you, and they won’t. If anything, I will have the most love for you, since you three were my first litter, and I adore each and every one of you. Please don’t think I’m a kit-crazed she-cat, I just....” She trailed off, unsure of where to go. Oriolepaw swallowed. “Is he nice?” He asked tensely. Skinknose looked at him. “What?” The tom flicked an ear. “This new tom,” he elaborated “Is he nice?” The mother smiled and gave a sincere nod. Oriolepaw lifted his eyes. They were full of support and understanding. So much so, that it took Skinknose aback. “We will always love you too, Skinknose.” He promised “As long as you’re safe.” Turtlepaw nodded. “You’re our mother. You do so much for us, we respect your decisions.” She added. Picklepaw smiled. “I’ve always wanted more siblings.” She meowed. The four embraced tightly, the love from Skinknose’s heart threatening to burst from her chest. Licking her kits’ ears, she sent them off to claim their nest space in the apprentice’s den, watching them the whole way.

⚜ ⚜ ⚜ ⚜

Droserathorn absentmindedly watched Owlgaze play with her kits in the center of camp. Their presentation had gone well, and everyone was fawning over the strong Yarrowkit and clumsy Robinkit. But the shaman had other things to worry about. Birds were sacred in RavenClan. Hunting them was strictly against the Guardian’s rules. Yet somehow, groups of birds were found dead scattered around the territory. There were no bite marks, no sign of injuries, they were just dead. Some cats were reluctant to let the prey go to waste, but Droserathorn had reminded them that Aita was not one to be angered. They promptly agreed, and the cats buried the birds with respect. The shaman had a bad feeling about the whole situation, though. Maybe it was meant to be a warning. Snake tracks had been found near one of the piles. His eyes moved to Snakewhisper, who was talking to Jaguarslip. Doubt clouded his mind. He was probably stretching this way too far. Still, an uneasy feeling permanently nestled itself in the back of his mind.

Droserathorn’s pondering session was interrupted abruptly by a screech. He saw a shadow glide over the camp and Kitewhisker yowled from the overhang of the den. “Eagle!” She cried. Cats immediately scattered, trying to seek cover from the predator that swooped down. Thankfully, it missed Spiketuft narrowly, and he was able to press himself against the apprentice’s den next to Bananapaw. As the eagle circled around again, Droserathorn’s eyes snapped to Owlgaze, who was still scrambling back to the nursery. Yarrowkit bounded to the stone building quickly, Owlgaze right behind him. Droserathorn’s eyes widened in horror as he saw Robinkit trip and skidd along the ground. “Robinkit!” He screeched. But it was too late. He watched petrified as the eagle’s large talons wrapped around the small kit. Its talons pierced her sides, and whipped her off the ground. Owlgaze bunched her muscles and flung herself at the bird. It was in vain, though, and all the mother could do was watch her daughter wail as she was carried into the sky. Her cries grew quieter and quieter, until only shocked silence filled the camp.

⚜ ⚜ ⚜ ⚜

When Robinkit opened her eyes, all she could see was a clearing. It wasn’t like the one in the camp, though. This one was dark, but not scary, just dark. Flecks of stars glowed within the bushes that circled the clearing and the trees swayed carelessly in the light breeze. Suddenly, the dark bushes rustled. Robinkit was afraid, and tried to press herself into the ground. A sleek black cat emerged from the spot. His figure was intimidating, but his eyes showed nothing but gentle kindness. “Hello little one.” He murmured quietly “Don’t be afraid.” For some reason, the words calmed the small kit. “Are you the Guardian?” She asked innocently. Aita chuckled softly. “Yes, but you can call my Aita.” He motioned for her to rise to her paws, and she did. She slowly began to feel comfortable around him. “What is this place?” She asked, walking beside him “And why is it so empty?” The Guardian sighed, looked at the trees sprawling in front of the pair. “This is the Garden. It’s where cats of RavenClan go when they pass on to the afterlife.” He explained “And it may seem empty for now, but it won’t be for long.” He gave the kit a reassuring smile. “But until then, let’s get you settled, eh?” Robinkit smiled up at him and followed the Guardian into the forest.

         POV- Petalbark/ Aspenstripe
              Petalbark-  Petalbark climbed out from the medicine cat hollow padding into the clearing. Cats basked out in the sunlight purring with warmth. She nodded at Rootfur and Flamestrike who where sharing tongues on a sunning rock. She had noticed how close they had grown over the last few days, and couldn’t wait till there were kits running around the camp and getting under everyone’s feet and the warm milky sent that would fill the camp...

Aspenstripe- Aspenstripes eyes glowed with anger, he unsheathed his claws and dug them into the ground. Ever since Flamestrike told him that him and Rootfur were going to be mates, he wouldn’t talk to Flamestrike or Rootfur. He was extremely hurt each time Flamestrike would insist they were only friends, why couldn’t they be more than that? He loved Flamestrike, No, he corrected himself, he used to love Flamestrike. “Umm uh... are you ok?” A voice snapped him out of his thoughts. He turned to see Puddlepatch looking at him, her yellow eyes filled with concern. He realised that his fur was fluffed up and his claws stung from being locked into the ground. “Uhh yes” he said shuffling his paws before turning away and padding towards his nest, leaving Puddlepatch hurt and confused.

   POV- Willowstar

Willowstar gazed around her camp. She looked around in pride, her clan was growing quickly and she was never lonely anymore. A flash a brown caught her eye, she studied the shadow and realised that it was Rootfur. Rootfur was glaring at something, he eyes glazed with compassion. Willowstar followed her gaze to see Flamestrike sunning himself on a large rock, enjoying the warmth. Willowstar sighed, shook her head slightly and turned around to head towards her den that she dug herself. She padded into her moss and bracken nest, she circled in it a few times before laying down even though she wasn’t tired. Willowstar had never thought about having kits, she thought it would be too much work, but ever since Cloudykit was found on a patrol she has felt a longing, a longing for someone to look after. She shook away the thought, she had been so awkward with toms that she had feelings for in the past and she thought she was still the same. Soft padding of paws entering her den shook her from her thoughts, she looked up to see Cloudykit creeping towards her. Willowstar pretended she didn’t her just so she could see what Cloudykit would do. Cloudykit crept forward, stopping every so often to check that Willowstar was asleep, she continued creeping forward until she was a whisker away from Willowstar. Suddenly she pounced and landed on Willowstar shoulder. Willowstar nudged Cloudykit off and stood up to look at her, her gaze warm and filled with amusement. Cloudykit rolled over and covers her face with her paws “I’m sorry!” Cloudykit squeaked “I thought u was asleep...” Willowstar purred with amusement and nudged her up, giving her ear a quick lick. “It’s alright Cloudykit.” Willowstar started walk out of her den and glanced back at Cloudykit, “You coming? Let’s go back to the nursery and I’ll get us some fresh kill”. Cloudykit’s face brightened up immediately and she scampered after Willowstar. A warm fuzzy feeling filled Willowstars heart as the two headed to the nursery, she kept glancing down at Cloudykit. I guess I’m your mother now. Willowstar thought as they headed through the wide tunnel to the nursery.

Prophecy
Moonlight smoke and reddened eyes, suits of snakes and suits of lies, let the birds cry and hide in their nests--for a shudd'ring thunder is coming, a falling night-sky at best.

Story:
Following Robin of Windchimes - First Person P.O.V.
The winding tunnels of the Southern Grottos were mighty confusing. Filled with moss and water, with cracks in the stone allowing the sunlight in, they were a marvelous plane. There must not have been any place like it. Every step led me under roots and burrows. Everything down here was teeming with life.
Earlier that day, Cloud of Stars has requested my presence in his den. He spoke with me and the accompaniment of no others.
"Robin, I need you to speak with the Kin of the Stars for me. Rest here, please, and then travel to Starfalls tonight." I was rather taken aback. Asking me to do all of this alone was not something I expected to do, after all, I only joined the Kindred a moontide ago! I couldn't argue against him, though. My throat felt tight when I tried. I only nodded and he moved to lay in the sand, offering me his down-soft nest. As I lay down, a heaviness swallowed me. I fell asleep in moments.

The dreamworld where I awoke was odd. It was a place filled with death, but there was a beauty to it. A cat with a a snowy pelt sat before me.
"Hello, Robin."
"Hello.."
"Do you know who I am?"
"No.."
"For now, that is for the better," His eyes were sad, a sadness that looked moontides upon moontides older than him. "I see your Meishu has noticed my presence over his shoulder." At my confused head tilt, he walked me to a stream trickling off into a great waterfall in an abyss.
"What is this place?"
"This is the Grey Moor. It's where those not good enough or who simply don't want to go to the Kin of the Stars go. We don't follow their rules." He looked at me. I swore his blue eyes were piercing my soul. They were reflections of my own.
"Rules like..."
"Rules like seeing you in your dreams aside from visiting Starfalls. Look, we're at them now." he flicked his tail at the waterfall. This was all both perfect sense and pure fantasy to me.
"Why have you been following Cloud of Stars?" I asked softly. For a few moments, the white cat went silent.
"He is troubled still. He fears us, the dead cats. I'm worried it will be his downfall."
"How?" He seemed glad I didn't question such a bold statement. What was supposed to do?
"I cannot speak much on it. You already know the prophecy from the Kin of the Stars." I did. It was burned into my memory.
"Moonlight smoke and reddened eyes, suits of snakes and suits of lies, let the birds cry and hide in their nests--for a shudd'ring thunder is coming, a falling night-sky at best." I quoted back. He smiled a little.
"You have a sharp memory. That's good. I can sneak you another piece. I cannot tell you everything, if I do you will cause or prevent things from happening that need to happen. Understand?"
"Perfectly."

"The day met the night and birthed the dawn and the dusk." His ear twitched. "You must go now, ask them to guide the sun to you. You will never be without me." He promised. Moments later, I opened my eyes.

I decided to revive this clan again :>

Nobody else could see what Shrikepaw could see.
It wasn't that all his clanmates were suddenly blind. He wasn’t hallucinating.
(At least he didn’t think he was. But then again, how would he know?)
It was more that he was the only one awake at moonhigh, and he was the only one watching as a defined shadow moved along the edge of the camp. Even Bearsnarl and Fernpurr were asleep on sentry duty.

Shrikepaw’s ears widened as the shadow stepped into a puddle of light and he glimpsed a tawny, ginger and grey she-cat - surrounded by at least 40 other cats. He caught his breath and backed close into the brambles of the den, starting to wish he had darker fur- maybe the exact opposite of his, pure black. He crept further back still, only to stumble over another cat, a smaller ginger cat, who let out an indignant shriek in the shrill mew of Hopekit. Panicking, Shrikepaw leapt away, into a clearing suddenly full of terror.

The army of strange cats leapt into the camp. At the sight of the calico, who clawed her way up onto the HighStump, Shrikepaw remembered the calico who had tried to steal Hopekit and realized it was the same cat. He twisted away from the army of cats and snatched Hopekit up, creeping with her behind the apprentice den.

“ThicketClan!” the calico yowled. At the sound and scent of a new cat, or multiple, the clan erupted in panic. Witheredfoot and Whiskerscreech burst from their den, followed by a small explosion of half-asleep warriors. Zephyrswirl and Windflower slid out of the apprentice den, their ears flattened back in shock and confusion. Their brother Breezepaw cowered in the back of the den, Tornadopaw planted in a protective stance in front of him.

“Give the kit of prophecy to us!” the she-cat screeched to the bewildered warriors. Lemonstar stepped forward angrily, her tabby calico fur rippling with outrage, but before she could speak, another warrior interrupted.

“I know you!” Tigertooth yelped. “You tried to take Hopekit!”

“Hopekit? Who is this Hopekit?” the calico snarled. Behind the apprentice den, Shrikepaw shivered, his paw pressed against Hopekit’s muzzle.

“You know who Hopekit is,” a voice, quiet but rich with anger said, “because you stole her.” Everyone turned to look at Burnscar, their ginger fur spiked up and their yellow eyes narrowed and flashing. “She’s gone,” he growled, “You took her.” Behind him, Dappledhowl nodded, eyes wide.

“You lost this.. Hopekit?” the calico hissed, fur spiking up along her spine. “You lost the kit of prophecy?!”

“I don’t know what you mean by prophecy,” snapped Burnscar, “But I do know my daughter is missing and you did try to take her!” Ears pinned back, he launched himself at the she-cat and took her by surprise, and they both rolled over and off the Highstump.

Immediately, the shadowy warriors crowded behind the Highstump swarmed out and leapt into battle.

Lemonstar dodged between two scrawny apprentice-sized cats and dived into battle with the calico, fighting alongside Burnscar. She sparred with her while Burnscar spun around and nipped at her hind legs. The calico raked her claws down Lemonstar’s muzzle, then went limp and slid under the startled ThicketClan leader, before leaping onto her back. She bit at her ears and scraped with her hind paws at her fluffy back, before hurtling off to land on the panicking Burnscar. She ripped at his hind legs and he howled in pain as blood began to pool. Furious, Lemonstar dragged the calico off her paws and bared her teeth.

The calico merely grimaced back and leapt up again before darting at Lemonstar and ripping her neck. The leader collapsed, shaking. As Lemonstar's life ebbed away, the calico stood in front of the rest of the Clan and surveyed the beginning of battle.

Foggyprance and Curlpaw fought together against a tabby intruder, while Sedgewatcher covered their backs, fighting away two younger cats at once. He clawed at their ears and sprang around, shredding them, when a yowl from his mate startled him and Sedgewatcher whirled around. Foggyprance and the tabby were locked in a death grip, their eyes meeting and tails lashing. Sedgewatcher watched with terrified eyes as the tabby darted their head forward and latched their jaws around the deputy's throat, killing him in an instant!

Before Sedgewatcher could react, a small white form dropped onto Foggyprance's killer. At first, he thought it was Curlpaw, but she had ran to help Grassfur and Bumbletuft escape; he recognized Fluffpaw, her brother. "No!" Sedgewatcher exclaimed; the apprentice would never be able to take on that cat himself. He dashed in, but the tabby had already thrown Fluffpaw off with a sickening crunch. Sedgewatcher crouched, fur rising and pounced on the tabby, his huge form flattening them to the ground. He snapped their head back and backed away, shaking, as the other cat's life left at once.

Meanwhile, the calico had simply been surveying the chaos, relishing her victory over ThicketClan's leader. But, unknown to her, Lemonstar's sixth life had taken over and the she-cat had risen to her paws. Ears pinned back and muzzle drawn in a snarl, she crouched and leapt at the calico, channeling all the fury she felt towards her and crushed her, killing her almost immediately. Panting, she scrambled onto the high-stump and addressed the invaders.

"Your leader is dead! Your plan failed! Return Hopekit to us and leave!" she announced. The scraggly band of remaining trespassers stopped, backed away and began to flee.

Behind the apprentice den, Hopekit wriggled away from the petrified Shrikepaw and bounded into the clearing. There was an uproar as she sped to her father and curled up anxiously beside him. He craned his neck round to stare at his mangled hind leg, the fur ripped off and the leg twisted. "Get Sparkgaze," Hopekit wailed.

But Twigwish emerged from the medicine den, her face frozen in a mask of horror. "You can't," she whispered in shock. "She's dead."
Nightpaw came out beside her, quivering miserably.

The clan was silent. The interlopers had gone, leaving behind only their scents and bloodstains. But also gone were the lives of many valued clanmates. Twigwish dragged her mentor's body into the middle of the clearing, where Foggyprance and Fluffpaw already lay. Curlpaw and Grassfur brought the crumpled form of Bumbletuft there as well.
