Trading is the biggest part of this site, right? Most people want Chicken Dollars to then buy stuff, right? Don’t you think it’s too easy to get them? The currency is too stable even though you are able to «print» new bills using PayPal magic. That’s because there’s no alternative.

Create Chicken Euro, Chicken Krone and Chicken Rupee which you can only buy while in specific countries to simulate inflation. That will make trading more realistic. Stores will be more or less expensive depending on which currency you are using.

Create a brand new event that will take place once a year called «Economy Crash». The currency that was «printed» the most will experience an economy crash and will have its value divided by 100. Meanwhile the currency that was traded the most will have its value multiplied by 2. Besides that everyone will get inflation themed pets. After the event is over the value gets brought back to stability once again.

In addition, you may upgrade the limits for a C$ fee. Microtransactions are now needed to access many of the existing QOL features.

Make CS more membership-based, with premium players get most features, while standard players have less features.
Like: Premium players can customize their signatures, standard players can not customize their signature.

Like ebay, users have a trust rating on their trading page that is affected by the number of trades they offer which are cancelled.

There are penalities applied when your rating drops too low -
<75% and any messages you send must be reviewed by a mod before sending
<50% and you can only offer pets that are on your partner's wishlist
<25% and, like coppa messages, you can only choose pets that are from a pre-approved list.
