on top of the pc is a strange looking rock.
I appears to be a Helix Fossil.

You could either hold onto it, or go to the pokemon lab to have a scientist turn it into an ancient pokemon.

Corrine nods, smiling a bit. "Y-Yeah! Yes. I'm Corrine." Maki yowls her name happily and Ekko waves. "And these are Makhina and ekko. We wanted to buy some food for our trip to the city (What region is this? XD)."

The man then happily points you in the direction of a nearby cafe.
The cafe seems to be very large and is more like a cozy shop with food. There's a section where you can get drinks and food and another where you can buy pokemon related items.

(To simplify Mimi's origins, I believe she is from between Johto and Unova {Honest location was known to be between these 2 regions} originally, Being in a small, unnoticed city between the both regions, this city is known to sell berries often, Well, was from there until she moved later on from her dad wanting her to try this.)

Lex started to giggle softly while she watched all of her pokemon play, until she saw her Charmander change right in front of her eyes. Her eye's sparkled as she watched Charmander evolve into Charmeleon, his skin turning a blazing red color, tail getting a bit longer, a sharper point on his head, and lastly very nice claws. Once Charmander stopped evolving, Lex ran over and hugged Charmeleon happily
"Charmander!! You evolved to Charmeleon!! I'm so proud!-" Lex then stopped and looked at Charmeleon,
"I think you need a name to celebrate, how about..Brand? It means marked by fire in some language i don't remember.." Lex awkwardly chuckled.
"Char Charmeleon!" Charmeleon chripped happily about everything happening and agreeing to the name, which Lex will now call him Brand.
Lex smiled and gathered all her pokemon, putting Brand on her head which Lex noticed he grown a few pounds, Azure on her shoulder, and lastly her new friend ,Dart, in her arms. She was happy that her team was growing finely! She then looked over at Mimi as she also heard the Click of her capture and Mimi asking her the question.
"Congrats on Persian! and oh yes! The professor's lab? I was so lucky to find you around, you helped a lot. Also the professor was very nice, i could tell her about the evolved Brand!"

(sorry for answering so late, i don't have internet and i'm at my grandmas, i'll try to answer around the weekends..)

Mimi took out the helix fossil to show Lex..

"I think they might be able to know how to bring this one back.. I think the helix fossil one is Olmanyte, One of the cutest ones i know that." Mimi told Lex before changing the topic a bit.

"Wow, They grew quickly, They will be a Charizard in no time with that growth speed.." Mimi mentioned before letting the persian out of their pokeball, they jumped at mimi and pins them down.. like a cat would, what would you expect from a CAT pokemon.

"Seems like Sapphire is happy too.. You like the name i gave it? It has a blue gem instead of a normal persian's red gem, thought it worked." Mimi said while glancing at the persian.. "This is going to be a while.. so much determination! Gonna be down here for a while.." (Mimi just gave up on trying XD)

Corrine nods a thanks to the man, following Makhina (who's already off and inning at the scent of food) into the café. Once inside, she sets her partner back on her head. Ekko lightly baps her face to reprimand her. Corrine looks around for a table and sets the pair down, walking up to the section to get Pokémon and human food.

Lex glanced over at Mimi's Helix Fossil, once more her eyes light up as she knew how to do this stuff, since she did so much research in her days, but never having a pokemon.
"Oh! The Helix Fossil! In the books it said the Dome and Helix Fossil if brought to the Pokemon Lab, It could be regenerated respectively." Lex said with a small smile,
"And that would be amazing if Brand will evolve that soon, but i wouldn't be able to have him on my head anymore which makes me a bit sad. Guess i'll be trading places with Brand." Lex giggled and looked up at brand on her head, which Brand chipped with fire. Lex then looked over at Mimi, trying not to snicker as she was on the ground.
"I think the name you gave her was perfect, i would name her the same thing if i were you," Lex said with her same small smile,
"Do you need some help down there?"

"Hello!" she says, "What can I get for you and your pokemon?"

she holds a pen and a pad of paper in her hand, waiting to take your order.

Mimi was the first one to notice the fossil, even if she was on the floor.. it wasn't that hard to get up from the persian pinning her down. "Thats weird, you can take this one if you want, I think this is a dome fossil, Kabuto comes from this one i think.."

"Like i said, he- Wait. She? .. " The persian just nods.. Seems like Mimi was not expecting another female pokemon for a while...

"Purr-Purr-sian!" Sapphire called out, it sounded like it had a tone of laughing to it.. They wern't mad at this.

"Sorry, well, that equals out all of the genders.. Flare, Sapphire, and ninepix are female, Memory and destiny are genderless, Bendy and chomps are male.. I might need a couple more pokemon to equal those out.. but other than that it works for now."

While Mimi was Talking, Bendychu and Sapphire were becoming friends playing around, Ninepix joined in since if Sapphire is a friend of bendy, they are a friend to Ninepix as well..

Minutes later the pokemon were playing body stack, whatever that is, The narrator believes this game is just the pokemon stacking on top of each other without falling, often with bendychu causing the pile to fall.. And Likes talking in this way.
