It felt light, almost like flying, but he wasn’t. He was running over the grass. That grass that almost seemed to shine. The green… it seemed unnatural. So lived, almost as if nothing ever steeped a paw on it. As if no one knew this place, no one ever been to this place. But as strange as all of this seemed, his paws wouldn’t stop moving.
How long he ran? He can’t remember. But he wasn’t exhausted. He felt like he didn’t run at all. All that he could see know was this giant tree. Like a Willow, but bigger than any he had ever seen. There was a hole in it. It almost seemed inviting, but his paws were stuck in place as he saw 10 cats steep out from inside the tree.
His hole body tensed up. He could fell their power. Their lives. Their cry for help without them saying anything. All their eyes were fixed on him.
“Seeker…”
A whisper. His name. They didn’t move. Did they say it? Their mouths didn’t move.
“Seeker.”
It was louder this time. Clearly more voices than he could count. Their eyes, they seemed empty.
“Seeker!”
This time it was a scream. Just one voice. He winced at this scream. But why would they scream at him. Hr wanted to say something but realized their eyes weren’t on him anymore. Something behind him got their attention. The fur on his neck stood up as he felt the cold wind from behind.
He jumped around seeing a tree like the other before, but this one was dead. Without trees, but not hollow inside like the other one.
But that wasn’t the danger. It was the shadow that showed up behind this tree. A cat. A cat he couldn’t recognise. It stared to run. Straight at him. Everything the shadow past died. The livid grass, the trees, every flower leaving a wasteland.
“SEEKER!”
The shadow screamed full of hate and spite. With every step the shadow made, it felt like seeker would get smaller. And then the shadow was there above him ready to kill to-
“Seeeeekeeerr!”
He jumped up from the place he was sleeping. A laughter. Seeker was still scared but his eyes were met with the eyes of his brother.
“Come on you little mouse heart. Play with us!”
Everything went by like a rush now. He couldn’t concentrate. He doesn’t feel like a 3-moon old kit anymore. He felt like the hole wold was on his shoulders. And it wasn’t that drastic but if he knew what was waiting for him maybe he could have saved many things. Especially lives.

apprentices, nursing, queens, and respected, elders. these

Story:
Following Cloud of Stars
His sense of the Kin of the Stars had begun to crumble. It practically felt like he was being drained of his faith, poisoned by a stinking fly. The young tom wandered his territory alone. Why have I lost heart for the Kin of the Stars?, he asked himself. Nothing had happened to illicit these feelings. In truth, his kin were thriving. He couldn't place it, not yet, but now he was sure something was wrong. Who might be wrong? What might be wrong? He wasn't sure. If I tell Jade she might laugh at me., he growled softly to himself, ears folding. The last thing he wanted to be seen as was an easily shaken Head. He let out a wry sigh when he noticed white paws halted in the undergrowth before him, maybe five snake-lengths away. Thankfully, his coat blended with the cracking wood and ferns and he was unseen. Cloud narrowed his eyes to slits.

Eagle of Peppers stood amongst thick brambles, which concealed him extremely well save for his paws. He peered around before scrounging in the frosted dirt. It took a short time, but he revealed a small secret soon enough. Taking another glance around to make sure he was safe, he pulled a harvest mouse from the hole. Eagle kicked dirt back into it and bounded off. As Cloud tried to follow him, he trailed off. Eagle's scent was masked by the thick plant smell of Little Emerald, and he'd vanished into the bracken. What was he doing..., The tortoiseshell lightly scratched two short marks into the tree closest to the hole. They were small enough to be rather inconspicuous. He turned tail and went to look for Jade of Deserts. Now is not the time to make a rash decision.

↠ [ Pebblefeather's hunting patrol catches x2 bird egg and x1 hare. As they bring back their food to camp, the cats are crestfallen as they realize that one of the bird eggs in inedible, thanks to the freezing temperatures. ]

↠ Border Patrol | [ Twighaze's border patrol encounters a potential warrior! On their way back, Twighaze and Juniperpelt fell through a thin patch of ice they weren't able to see around the whiteout conditions. Thankfully, with the help of the stranger, Dawnstride was able to pull Twighaze and Juniperpelt out and rescue them. ]
↠ [ Juniperpelt sprained a paw, and will need x1 poppy seed and x1 moon of rest. ]

↠ [ Mudstorm's border patrol encounters two new cats - a queen (due next moon) and her mate looking for warmth to get away from the blizzard. The queen has a sprained paw from when she broke through a thin patch of ice she couldn't see, and will need x1 stinging nettle for the swelling. ]
↠ [ The queen's description is; a shorthaired lilac spotted tabby with amber eyes. The warrior's description is; a longhaired silver chinchilla with light blue eyes. Both colored by me on Grey_Hoodie's lines. ]

↠ Hunting Patrols | [ Mudstorm's hunting patrol catches x1 shrew and x1 bird. Honeywish complained of very cold toes, but the cold did no lasting damage thanks to her thicker fur. ]

↠ [ Blissheart's patrol encounters a cat named Russetpaw! They had to rescue him from an icy hole he had fallen into, spraining his paw. Once they get him back to camp, Weaselstorm says he will need x1 stinging nettle for the swelling, and x1 moon of rest. ]
↠ [ Newtflower's patrol catches the scent of a fox, but they could not locate it in the blowing snow and return to camp. ]
↠ [ Elkfoot's patrol encounters a cat named Darkpaw. On their way back to camp, Bitternpelt slipped and broke her front left paw - she will need x1 bindweed and x1 stick, as well as x1 dandelion, and x3 moons of rest. ]

↠ Hunting Patrols | [ Julius's hunting patrol catches x1 thrush and x1 marmot. Upon further investigation, it seems the thrush got frozen during the trek back to camp and is inedible. ]
↠ [ Daisystorm's hunting patrol catches x2 rabbits. ]
↠ [ Egretttail's hunting patrol catches x2 crows. ]
↠ [ Chickadeefur's hunting patrol x2 wren and x1 pika. Once the patrol gets back to camp, they realize Ringletpaw is no longer with them and had gotten lost in the blizzard. A border patrol will need to be sent out next moon to rescue her, though she most likely found a warm, safe place to wait for the blizzard to subside. ]
