--Orbweaver's past -- their best friend and Barley, and how Orbweaver fits into the equation. Their best friend, a gentle soul named Speckle, a more outgoing and social, charismatic version of Orbweaver themself. The two cats meshed perfectly, Orbweaver always afraid to speak their true feelings to their best friend, devastated when Speckle died and they never even got the chance. They vowed to look after Barley like he was their own kit. As they meet ChaosClan cats, Orbweaver has to do a double take when they swear they can see the vague outline of Speckle behin some of the cats, nodding sadly as she watches Barley and Orbweaver get accepted into the large clan. With a heavy heart, finally allowing themself to feel grief instead of a fierce protectiveness of Barley, Orbweaver grieves, dreaming of Speckle and all of the things they never got to say... Faintly, as they wake up in the dawn light in their new home, a voice whispers on the wind - "I will always love you, Orbweaver."
--Foxglovepaw receives the first vision from The Fallen in a long while - she keeps it to herself for now, the vision terrifying her, and she herself is unsure what to even say to her mentors. Surely The Fallen would have told a more senior cat if they wanted action taken? Orange eyes, red eyes, glowing eyes stare down Foxglovepaw in her dreams, making her shiver even in the daylight. Something terrible lurks in the darkness, she knows it...
--Swiftpaw dreams from The Fallen, though they have no idea that it is a vision at all. Sounds fill their ears, in their sleep, in the daytime. Silverstar sees the young cat's restlessness, pulling them aside and asking what's wrong. Swiftpaw tilts their head, unsure of how to even begin deciphering what they're hearing day in and day out. The cat opts for what he believes - they're having nightmares about their past, unaware that something even more deadly lurks in the darkness.

↪ Tempestgleam's heart pounded in her chest as she led this moon's patrol - the first since Willowdancer's death. The young she-cat didn't know if she could live up to such an experienced cat as her predecessor, but she was determined to lead her cats well. Everything seemed to be going smoothly aside from the awkward silence, but Tempestgleam assumed everyone was still on edge after the recent dangers in their territory. As they approached a quiet stream, its clear waters tantalizingly beckoning everyone to come closer, Tempestgleam gave everyone permission to take a quick break for they continued their rounds. She waited until everyone approached the bank to drink and slunk away from the crowd, wanting time to herself.

Tempestgleam began grooming sticks and twigs out of her curly white pelt now that she was alone, wanting to look presentable to the other nandor, but her self-care regime was later disrupted by someone politely asking her attention. She turned to face a young ginger tabby, looking at her timidly. Tempestgleam relaxed, knowing a cat as young as Grebepaw wouldn't pose a threat and asked the youngling if anything was wrong. Shaking their head, they said everything was fine, but that they and their grandy noticed a clowder in the area and wanted to see if they join. ↪ Sagescorch's patrol found the scent trail of a badger! Shenthais can either drive it away through battle, poison it by stuffing x1 hare with x1 deathberries, or risk leaving it alone.

↪ Boulderbite's patrol became concerned when they noticed a red cat crouched over a laying gray-and-white one and quickly trotted over in case something was amiss. As they drew closer, they realized the former was actually kneading the other cat's hind legs, Boulderbite's eyes widened when he noticed that the gray cat had two silver sticks attached to where the thighs ended and the legs began. The two loners' turned to face the patrol, apologizing for being on their land - the gray loner explained that sometimes their missing limbs made them so weary that they needed to rest, and their ginger-furred kin would do anything to help soothe them. Boulderbite assured them it was no trouble, offering them a place in Shenthais. | Shenthais recruited two adults! The cats are maternal cousins.

Drogon agreed to bring them home to Valentinestar and to the rest of the lordship, keeping an eye on the cat's behavior on the way home. She struggled and struggled, but knew it was the end as she felt the spider's jaws paralyze her with one fell bite...

She was lucky that Flybackpounce was collecting herbs nearby, nearly screeching in panic when he instantly recognized deathberry poisoning and worked quickly to help her get the poison out of her system, otherwise she would have joined the valinor. | Requires x1 wintergreen; she also failed this moon's lesson.

The two were ordered to distance themselves from the rest of the Clan while they recovered. | Both require two moons of rest, and x1 chickweed and x1 tansy each.

xx↳ Aldertooth, Koalafoot, and Sunsetpond heard a dog howling in the distance, the deep booming sound of its call enough for them to understand it was a large beast. Rainspark didn't want them to go when they requested to scout its movement and chase it away, but she finally consented under Aldertooth's assurance that they'd be alright. He was an experienced hunter, after all, so she knew that he'd come up with a good plan.

And a good plan it was as the three cats herded the dog out of their territory, but of course their luck had to run out eventually as the dog snapped and charged for Aldertooth. The reddish-brown tom yowled for his Clanmates to scatter and leave as he'd take the dog on himself, his tone leaving no room for argument. In a final moment of courage, Aldertooth bonded towards the dog and leapt up to meet the dog in battle. He felt its teeth catch in his neck and despite everything, he knew he made the right choice as his world faded to black.

Foxstar ordered Tarragonmuzzle to find a piece of moss and drench it in the nearest water source, approaching the cat as soon as the dark brown tom darted out of view. The leader slow-blinked in thanks to Dragonbreath and Blackbirdshriek as they shaded the overheated loner, holding fallen branches with plenty of leaves still attached to them in their mouths above them. Quartzheart exchanged a confused look with Skipperpelt, but silently ordered his patrol to encircle the loner as they heard a rustling coming from the same bushes. Another loner came out shortly after, whiskers and tail lashing in irritation as he asked the patrol if they saw a reddish-brown and ginger calico around recently. He spat when the ChaosClan cats didn't give him a clear answer and stalked back into the bushes. Once the coast was clear, the calico rose to their paws, thanking the Clan cats greatly. They followed the trail for some time before finally finding a young ticked tabby attempting to climb up a tree to grab at the bird's nest in the high branches. The patrol made their arrival known, frightening the kit as they whirled to face the ChaosClan cats. Despite their obvious fear, they made a show of pinning their ears back and hissing fury at the adults, hopping side-to-side like an angry, fluffy crab. | ChaosClan took in an abandoned kitten!

↪ Thistlepath was eager to leave the elder's den as soon as Kiwituft suggested it and rose from his nest, wincing as his bones crackled with age before he limped out into the Greenleaf sun to greet his brother waiting outside. He turned to look at his littermate, smiling at the gray tom as he affectionally butted his head against his shoulder. Kiwituft chuckled, leading Thistlepath out of camp and into the forests beyond. The two toms conversed about recent Clan happenings and reminisced about old memories, finding it easy to just talk to each other without the responsiblities of having to patrol the territory or hunt for the Clan on their shoulders anymore.

Kiwituft chuffed as Thistlepath tried to talk mid-yawn and suggested that maybe they should just lie down for a while, to which the gray tabby eagerly agreed with as he wearily reclined to the ground, tucking his forepaw and hind legs under his chest and belly as he shut his eyes and started to doze off. Kiwituft was quiet, Thistlepath oblivious to the way that his brown eyes glistened with unshed tears, and he merely hummed in reply when the other tom said he'd be back shortly - something about hunting, Thistlepath assumed as he felt the world around him fade into black.

Thistlepath snapped his eyes open, he didn't expect to fall asleep, but he supposed his recent bouts with exhaustion and weariness over the past few moons caught up with him. He easily rose to his paws, remarking that he must've had a good nap if his bones didn't creak for once as he called out to his brother. Kiwituft's absence made the tabby roll his eyes, knowing he'd have to go reel the other tom back from getting too carried away just like old times. He padded out into the grove, his body rejuvinated with the strength he lacked for moons as he trotted onward. Thistlepath's pace quickened until he zoomed through the forest, grinning as he took advantage of the newfound energy he miraculously gained.

Gray pelts began peeking through the blurs of green bush he raced past, Thistlepath thinking they were simply Kiwituft also relishing some youthful energy until he took in their scents, the familiarity of them all made him skid to a stop. He watched with bated breath as the bushes rustled in front of him and nearly sobbed when the cat he longed for most made herself known - Peppermask - as beautiful as the day he lost her. Her steel-blue eyes glimmered with a lifetime of love as she approached Thistlepath, wreathing herself around her mate as she told him how much she missed him. Thistlepath held her close, telling her he felt the same way.

Pulling apart, Thistlepath's eyes watered as he saw the rest of their lost children around them - Flaxpounce, Ivyshine, Mintmask, Cayenneshadow, Burdocklight, Ghostdance, Chicoryseed... he felt his throat dry up as the realization of his death finally hit him. It really was the end, but he felt honored that he met it smiling. He wondered if Kiwituft knew, and that's why he invited him to walk together for a final time, his speculation was confirmed as he met Peppermask's heavy gaze.

Thistlepath asked if he could see himself and Kiwituft one last time before he traveled to his new hunting grounds among the rest of The Fallen; his kits quipped that he didn't need to ask as they all padded to where Thistlepath's body rested, his tail curled around Peppermask's when they got closer. He sighed deeply at what he saw, grateful that even his body wasn't left alone - Kiwituft, Dandelionpath, and the rest of his brother and his son's respective family members mourned for him. With his final request granted, he along with everyone else faded into mist, ready to spend the rest of eternity together.

Nyx and the others were lucky to find them when they did - the deputy determined not to let more cats die after Rachmaninoff's tragic passing - and she perfectly executed a rescue mission that resulted in no one else getting injured. | Both Nickel & Silver require two moons of rest and x1 ivy leaves, x1 comfrey root, and x1 honey each. Patrolling (Bacup); Bacup's patrol were stopped by a young white-and-ginger cat, the head knight waiting patiently for the loner to catch their breath as they bounded down a slope to meet them. They apologized for interrupting, but they said they wanted to ask if they'd be open to accepting new members of their clowder. "You see," they began, "I unintentionally became the guardian of an abandoned kittypet and I would rather us have a proper place to live." | Whiskered Away recruited a muse and an adult cat! The two are unrelated to one another.

Patrolling (Aristaeus); Aristaeus' patrol witnessed a greenish-gray cat training a pale calico from afar, each muttering their approval of the older cat's instructions as they trained their protege much like the mentors in their clowder did. Aristaeus determined that he should approach the two and invite them into Whiskered Away. | Whiskered Away recruited a page and an adult! They have a mentor and apprentice bond.

Patrolling (Rainstorm); Rainstorm feels a growl rumble in his throat as he and the others approach the rogue camp, noticing signs that they seemed determined to settle here as they grew closer. Muddy pawprints dotted the growth and underbrush had been trampled in newly-woven paths, but the stormy-cat tom was determined to break their sense of comfort and drive them out of Whiskered Away's land. He ordered for his patrols to split up and encircle the camp, yowling a fierce battle cry as soon as everyone got into position to drive the rogues out. They did succeed, but not without loss...
- Vez'gamos was disoriented amidst the sounds and chaos of battle, him and making his moves unbalanced and sloppy against his opponent. The other cat managed to grab onto his neck and puncture their fangs deep into the vulnerable flesh, and Vez'gamos was killed.
- Greywing felt weakened and bruised all over as soon as the adrenaline wore off and requested the sylphs for anything that would perk her back up. | Requires x1 raspberry leaves.
- Bedrock held her own against the rogue leader well enough, but the other cat left her with many open wounds that needed immediate treatment. | Requires two moons of rest, x1 elder leaves, and x1 dock.

- Morningash had been pushing her body too hard between patrolling and mentoring and it was beginning to show as her hips felt remarkably sore today. | Requires x1 fennel.

Wildfire should be waiting back at camp, ready to listen about Northernpaw's first day of training and congratulate her for working so hard. Her accomplishments felt hollow otherwise, the loss of her mother heavy on her heart. She was brought out of her grieving when she tumbled to the ground and wretched her shoulder, crying out in pain. | Requires x1 elder leaves.

XXXXXXOrestar woke, not long after her trip to the Moonstone, to voices drifting in from outside. She recognized Talonfall and Featherfrost's voice but not the strange Molly that was with them. As she emerged from the building she called home, she spotted where the three spoke and quickly walked over. Talonfall and Featherfrost turned as she did, Featherfrost speaking up first, "Orestar! Breezestorm here," the grey molly looked back to Breezestorm, "traveled a far way to join us, she says that she's a healer!"
XXXOrestar paused and studied the molly. A large, fluffy molly with the most gentle expression was what Orestar saw. The leader smiled, "It's an honor to have you with us, I'd love to show you around?"
XXXBreezestorm, her expression filling with happiness, nodded her head in acknowledgement. "Thank you, Orestar, your warriors were just telling me all about Canaryclan. Please, I would love a tour!"

XXXA few days later, Orestar and Featherfrost embarked on a patrol to refresh the markers. However, they found a new friend on the way, a weathered tom seeking sanctuary from a nearby farm. "Lost an eye, I did," the tom explained, a haunted look flashing in the remaining eye. "Decided it wasn't safe there... I know of clans and their type, I'd like to join you." Grasshopper, as he was called, declined a warrior name, clinging to the echoes of his past.

Aurorapointer sees all, or at least what a very attentive non omnipresent little feline is able to. Born almost completely deaf the flame point can only feel sound when it causes a vibration on the ground, which made the cat rely on other senses, being extremely keen on reading lips and body language. Other cats don't seem to be aware of their movements, and how they are a telltale of their emotions, specially their tails. Aurora, on the other hand, can control one's body with ease, since that's necessary for signing. All lightwalkers are taught to sign, though most only know the basic of that language, enough to have productive conversations, not enough to truly conversate. Aurora is content with that though, the cat is satisfied by only observing the clan, in fact purely observing them has proven to be a very effective way of getting to know the cats and their affairs.

As the twilight peeks in the flame point's eyes begin to struggle to stay alert. Aurora wouldn't admit it, but the cat wasn't looking foward to sleeping that dawn, mainly due to some weird dreams. Normally they weren't that vivid or intense, usually forgotten by noon, however, this had a drastic change during the last moon cycle.
When the moon was a growing smile Aurora's dream had a maze of tall grass that the cat had to cut through to make a path, the vision field was completely obscured by the grass, a claustrophobic sensation of every fiber of grass rubbing against the flame point's fur, dense walls that finally lead to a cliff. The cliff was a completely change of ambiance, the edge of the land, that lead to nowhere: an infinite sea of stars.
When the moon was at its brightest Aurorapointer dreamt of climbing and endless tree, no matter how fast, the cat's body wouldn't get tired. Aurora noticed familiar faces sitting on the branches when passing by, at first, but as the ascending progressed their bodies were getting more and more distorted, shinny, translucent, ethereal, surreal, and finaly, Aurora couldn't tell if those creatures observing the climbing were even cats to being with. The wind's everlasting blows, constantly trying to knock the cat down, were unbearable.
