Corrine's grin grew wide. Her first catch. Makhina was already sniffing at the pokeball, and picks it up with her tail. While the smol Squirtle balances it, her trainer hurries over in a blur or black and galaxy, sweater fluffing like a cat's fur. She lightly takes the pokeball and brushes off some dust. "Let's get out of the grass, Maki." She starts to leave the grass, Makhina on her head again.

Once Lex saw the Professor, her eyes lit up just like a christmas tree would in a way. She ran over and held the pokeball in her hands. It was warm, she could feel the connection of Charmander already! or maybe that was the Professor's warmth.. She looked back up at the Professor and nodded indeterminately with a joyful huge smile, excited for this day to come.
"Thank you so much! I know Charmander and I would be the bestest of friends and be strong together, i could feel it!" Lex said with her still joyful smile. She looked at the pokeball in her hands which shined, she wanted to see Charmander meet her for the first time, which Lex then threw the pokeball in front of her.

When the Charmander came out it was calm and collective, if it was frightened there would be no true way of telling.
“Char char!”
The Charmander chirpped And smiled up at you the best it could.

Lex looked down at her Charmander, she smiled back excitedly and bends down.she opens up her arms to see if Charmander would go in her arms so she could possibly carry it. Lex honestly didn't like the way how her first pokemon is kept in a pokeball, hopefully Charmander would get used to her and maybe relax on her head.
"Hello Charmander! I'm Lex, i'll be your new trainer,, i hope we can be friends?"

The Charmander nodded its head and waddled into your arms, nuzzling into them for warmth and comfort of a newfound friendship between the two.

Lex softly giggled and started to pet Charmander's head, trying not to get burnt by his flame on his tail. Once Charmander seems he was comfortable in her arms, she carefully put Charmander on her shoulders and have him allow to hold on to her head. Lex then faced the Professor.
"Hey Professor? Do you have a chance that you have a few pokeballs around?"

Stopping at the original path, Corrine sets down the pokeball. "Wanna come out, Furret?" She hopes it was okay with her catching it. Did Pokémon get mad about that? Makhina pokes the pokeball.

She held the bag of pokeballs the Professor gave her and put it in her own bag which had many pockets since you know.. just in case. Lex then smiled as she knew this was it, the day to start her own journey and be the first to get all the badges in her family name. She felt Charmander softly swaying back and forth so she resumed he didn't mind being on her head. She then looked at the Professor,
"Thank you for everything Professor, i'll be on my way! Wish me luck!" Lex said as she now was to the door, ready to open it.

"Destiny" Reshiram *Shiny*- Genderless - Hardy - Blue Flare, Outrage, Fusion Flare, Solar beam - Is jelious of Flare and roli.

"Infernape!!" Flare seemed mad for their pokeball being dropped..

"Sorry flare, it's hard carrying them sometimes.. i just came here from the grass gym, not too far away.."
Mimi glanced in the direction the grass gym is in the far backround with fireworks going off.
"uhh.. to start, best you get some shells, that's the currency you can use to buy pokemon with.."
