Once a month there is a round of kick the newbie where a selection of newbies are chosen and judged by the older cs members. They are judged on how far they have come, the art they have made, activity forum games ect. The have one week to improve themselves and then at the end of the week there is a poll and whoever gets the highest votes gets kicked from cs and their pets are given to the winner.

CS is introducing user avatar figures which you can dress up. the problem is, the accessoires and clothes ALL cost C$ and quite a lot too, and the figure can't be deactivated. the dressup stuff is also not tradeable. so if you don't get your hands on C$, you're just stuck with an ugly naked human figure on your profile.

There's a new Pass the Parcel event, where you have to constantly 'pass' your most valuable pets around to other users. The trade chain will abruptly be stopped, and you'll be forced to keep the pet you get. You'll never be able to get your original pet back, either :[

a randomly chosen mod every other month will be chosen as ‘simon’. you have to do whatever they say once a week. “gift a very rare to each person on your foe list”, “give five of your best/favorite pets to the pound”. the only way you could avoid this is either becoming a mod yourself or paying the simon-of-the-month 500c$ LOL
