It cracks a bit more, just one more crack and your new pokemon will arrive!

Beatrix lets out a deep sigh and hugs the Dieno. "That was close.. Hopefully they won't chase us anymore." She looks down at the Pokemon in her hands. "We owe you our thanks! Who knows what would have happened without you!"

"Rufflet" the Rufflet squeaked, hopping up onto your shoulder.

"Deino" the pokemon said before jumping back onto the ground and beginning to walk back into the woods.

The pokemon seemed hesitant, glancing back at you every few steps.

It turned back around, heading back towards you shyly,

it looks like it wants to join your team!

(Did you end up catching rufflet/is he on your team? I don't remember lmaoo)

You see the town! You quickly locate the road and find the house and deliver the letter. On your way out, there’s a pokéball waiting for you! Wonder what it could be.

Turns out it’s a Shiny Caterpie! What a nice gift for delivering a letter, huh?

Momi smiled at her Chikorita, a new friend and a newadventure coming along. "thank you so much." she said to her Professor, as he nodded and smiled towards her, "Your adventure is just starting miss." He said, walking over to her. Momi nodded, holding her chikorita tight to her chest. "You should go before your sister comes and starts her adventure before you." he said, placing his handto her back, leading her out of the lab. "Good luck miss." he said waving her off as momi smiled towards him, walking away into the big world.

She watches in amazement as the brave little pokemon scares the shiftry away. Torch cheers and quickly waddles over to Emolga's side, while Star puts a hand on her chest and takes a few deep breaths.

"Thank you so much, Emolga! You're a lifesaver!" the girl exclaims, moving to take the scratched-up great ball out from her bag. "Your trainer didn't mind me keeping your great ball. If you're okay with it, would you like to travel with us?" Star asks hopefully, looking down at the Emolga with a smile. "You'll be part of the team! I was even thinking about giving you a nickname! How about... Bee?"

"You want to join the team too huh? Well that's perfectly fine with all of us! The more friends the merrier!" Beatrix pulls out a Pokeball for Dieno to go in.

The Emolga looked at you with admiration in its eyes before squeaking in agreement

"Emolga!" the pokemon approved, jumping up into your arms.

Emolga's joined your team.

But before you guys could celebrate you notice an odd colour shining in the distance, and as quick as you see it it's gone and speeding into the cave.

Will you go check it out? Or venture elsewhere?

I grab the pokeball and let out the Caterpie, a shiny! I look in amazement at the pokemon standing before me. Even Mudkip is looking at it. "Hello bud, wanna join my team? I promise you that it will be eventful and fun and we will meet lots of pokemon!" I watch as it sways back and forth, shining. I wait patiently for the caterpies answer, watching as Mudkip chitters to it and studies it.
