{I was making an inference according to what I'd seen of the murders. I already Sneaky wasn't likely to be the murderer once I'd read through all the profiles. Sneaky wouldn't have been able to sneak up on Cecil in a million years. Only Cecil had that long......until he got killed. Now he's probably out there taking souls as a true reaper}

Anyway, we've recieved our next kill-confirm, so let's see what happened...!

Frozen Paw's harsh words had left everybody feeling uneasy; Sakura especially. The mayor was right, she was most likely now to be accused, but she had been given temporary solace from the vote in the hopes of eliminating bias. Sneaky's evidence against her had made sense, but everyone was so quick to follow her in the first place that they judged another innocent. She thought quietly to herself as she curled up under her tree, and tried not to think. Nature steered her clear of these thoughts for now, and gave her as much peace of mind as knowing that she would not be voted out this round, no matter what. For now, she could ignore the knowledge that, almost certainly, two more innocents could die. But would she stay there, in this quiet?

Pixels was the first to know, but she hadn't the time to process what was in front of her. A gunshot sound rang through the air, and then there was silence.

Frozen Paw gathered Sakura, Esra, Buster, Riley, and Cuddles in the town square the next morning, and told them all that Pixels had been shot in the dead of night. Her gaze lingered for a moment on Sakura, but then moved away as she scanned the faces of the others.
"My decision still stands that Sakura shall not vote, and shall not be voted for. I want you all to know, whether this is the right decision or otherwise, I believe for now that it is. Please, the four of you, make your votes. Let us hope we can end this mess before more lives are lost."

Aww, sorry Pixels [Flying-Mint-Bunny]! Looks like you're out! D:
Voting closes when all players have voted or at midnight tomorrow (17th Jan)! Remember, nobody can vote for Sakura in this round, and Sakura herself can't vote either, though she is still allowed to speak.

Now as a side note, I realised recently that, despite me loving mafia games and running this because, surprisingly, I love mafia games (/sarcasm! ), I'm never going to be able to participate in one myself! So I had an idea that perhaps, if one of you were up to it, the next game might (as a one (supposedly) off) be run by someone else!
If anybody is interested in running one game then please feel free to PM me. I'll ask you a couple of questions and we can discuss what you'd like to do and how we'd go about it - my main thought was having a post on this thread designated 'temporary main post' written by the Temp-Runner, so that they can edit it as easily as I edit my main post.
Anyway, just a thought! If nobody comes forward or it doesn't work out, I shall run the next game as planned. :3

Riley shook her head in anger and dismay. What did the killer want to achieve by this? What were they hoping to gain? These were question Riley could not answer, and they would probably be left unanswered. Riley's grief, guilt, and helplessness had balled up inside her the last few days, and at this point, it had now transformed into a huge ball of anger and rage. She really wanted these killing to stop, but letting her emotions get the best of her wasn't going to help find the killer. Instead, it was most likely to misdirect her and lead to another innocent death. Nobody needed more of those. Riley shook her head to clear her mind and tried to put her emotions aside for the sake of the rest of these pets. She had to make a reasonable vote, for this may be the last time she will have a chance to pinpoint the killer. Riley begun piecing the evidence together piece by piece in her mind. She then spoke loud and clear for all to hear. Determination was written all over her face. Today was the day they would find the killer. "On the night of the first murder, there was a loud bang. It was probably a gun shot or something was knocked over in Poopkee's lab... The bang was loud so, if it was the sound of something being knocked over, the object had to be large and only an animal around the same size as Poopkee could have done it. This takes out Cuddles and Buster. They are to small to use a gun or knock something that large over... No offense you guys." Riley said, glancing over the the two hamsters."On the night of Cecil's murder, it took place on the roof. The killer must have been silent and swift if they were to climb onto the roof unnoticed and unheard. They also must have had good balance to stay on the roof top. The rest of the murders were done quite silently and swiftly if the victims couldn't scream or struggle in any way before being murdered. Until this murder... This one was done with a gun, and only one pet, out of the three I can vote for, could hold a gun... I will place my vote for Esra." Riley stated. Now all she could do is sit and wait...

(Wait, wasn't one of the pets on a roof when it was murdered? Now all I'm picturing is one of those hamsters shimmying up the storm drain on a ninja outfit.)

Cuddles bowed his head in fear as he heard of the next murder. "You mean... Pixel's gone?" He squeaked in dismay as he raised his head. "Now, I'm really sorry, and I don't want to seem prejudice because I'm a hamster, but I vote Esra. You're the only one who could've got up on that roof without alerting the victim." Cuddles said in a shaky voice.

Oh gosh, ninja hamsters. xD Anyway, I went a bit over the time, but that was on purpose, as originally when it got to midnight, there was only one vote! So I decided to give it an extra 12 (or 14, haha) hours to see if anyone else would vote. At least one person did, that way it feels better.

Anyway, the 'execution' begins...!

Esra had been quiet the whole time, and perhaps hadn't even noticed when the votes had stacked against her - all two of them. To go out simply on the opinions of two of her fellow villagers when a further two votes from the remaining could save her seemed unfair on all accounts, but the clock had struck and it was done. Frozen Paw put an arm around her, and petted her, before leading her away from the four who were left. They watched in equal silence.

When Frozen Paw returned some time later, she had an even sharper look for Sakura than she had before, but she then turned to the other two who had voted with the same glare.
"Esra was not the killer." She said bluntly. "And Sakura is back in the 'game'. You can vote for her again, and... She can vote, too." There was no trying to disguise her displeasure this time. "Go back to your houses. Pray you haven't wasted your last chance."

Sorry Esra [Laikyn], you've been voted off! And wrongly accused, it seems. Oooh, I forsee the killer winning this game. It is a possibility for sure. :0

So! On the subject of the next game, I've had three people put themselves forward for temporary game-runners! How awesome is that!? It's still being finalised, but you may see your next game being run by the wonderful Blaze Crimson, who has been a player since Game 1 and should be great at running a game! We'll wait and see what's happened by the end of this game, but I look forward to joining you as a fellow player in the next! :3

There's only one more round to go for this game! Round 6 Kill will take us down to three players, and the execution will bring us to only 2, which means a vote is then impossible! You'd better hope you vote for the right person...!

Since I'm more than likely running the next game, I've been thinking about themes, and I have yet to choose one. It's come down to a video game crossover (something like Super Smash Bros.) or an anime crossover of a similar type. I should also mention that it'll be canon characters only, since OCs are just... risky.

So, I wanted to ask... which one you guys would prefer? Whichever one is more popular will be the theme for the next game.
