--With the newfound friendship he has with Foxglovepaw, Parnippaw finally feels better about his lack of skills and lack of mastering his training so far. The usual dark cloud hanging over his head finally felt clearer, and he goes into his next training session with Pipitglow feeling ready to take on hunting. He begs Foxglovepaw to practice the hunting crouches he's seen Squirrelpaw do, and though Foxglovepaw is no hunter herself, the pair get the hang of it.
--A rivalry appears between newcomer Eveningpaw and Finchpaw. Turns out, both are vying for the attention of Twilightpaw. Quartzheart intercepts his kit, having a heart to heart talk with them and helping them understand their feelings. Though Finchpaw disregards Quartzheart's gentle advice of getting to know Eveningpaw and letting everyone be friendly together, at least for now, they can't help but feel that maybe their dad has a point... Still, for now, they consider Eveningpaw their biggest rival.
--Hedgehogpaw and Marblepaw are ecstatic that they get to start their training alongside Finchpaw. Their enthusiasm is catchy, and the other apprentices are excited to meet their new denmates, even if the den is getting a little crowded.

Hazelstar smiled as she saw the two new cats waiting for her at camp. "Welcome," she purred." With more cats, we need more prey," she murmured to Graystorm. "Just show them the borders as you hunt," she meowed to the hunting patrol and watched as they left camp. Hazelstar also nodded as Opalwave took Goldpaw for training. "You'll get climbing eventually," she meowed to the younger cat, before heading over to Blossompatch and the kits.
"Hello, how is everyone?" she asked, laughing as the kits swarmed and greeted her. Blossompatch looked up, "Everyone is doing well, and the kits are happy to have someone besides me to play with them," she chuckled.

WEATHER !!

NEWLEAF || The sun begins to peek through the leaves as the dark and heavy clouds of Leafbare roll away. Birds begin to trill earlier in the morning, and the hibernating rodents stir from their slumber as they seek out meals to fill their aching bellies. Prey will be easier to catch, and kittings will grow easier on mothers. Cats are less desperate for homes and will be friendlier to patrols. However, with warmer weather comes more danger. Predators are no longer hungry and vicious, but they have full bellies and growing muscle. They lay unseen, waiting to attack. Twolegs sightings grow more common as well, though cats do not know why the strange creatures seem to prefer warmer weather.

↪ Silverstar's patrol were scanning the territory from a small hill, overlooking a winding river. Goldfishglow was the first to notice two cats just by the river's edge - an adult crouched over a much smaller kitten - both seemingly soaked to the bone. Sensing something wrong, Silverstar along with Arrowspark and Heatherdust pad down to meet them while the others waited on the hill as potential backup. What they found were victims of a flash flood, having been swept away from their old territory and washed up right on ChaosClan's borders. The parent pleads with the cats to at least take their kitten in, assuming they themself wouldn't be welcome. Silverstar shakes his head, telling them that both have a new home in his Clan.

companions, the miners delved deep into the earth,

through the tunnels, and the hum of machinery a
constant background noise. Now it stands in decay.
The cats and canaries left behind to fend for themselves.

XXXThe Twolegs, equipped with their tools and machinery, tunneled through the earth, leaving behind a labyrinth of passages that would later become the hunting grounds of Canaryclan. Their feathered companions, the canaries, played a crucial role in this underground world. These small, yellow birds were the miners' sentinels, and the cats (who would follow the miners) quickly learned how valuable they are. They provided a lifeline to safety by alerting the miners and cats of harmful, deadly gases.
XXXThough the Twolegs have long departed, their legacy lives on in the landscape and the companions that they left behind. The remnants of the mining structures, the labyrinth of tunnels, and the spirit of perseverance that once characterized this place have become an integral part of Canaryclan's unique way of life. The cats that were left behind now fend for the canaries in a mutual symbiotic relationship. The cats protect and gather food for their birds while the birds warn them of any danger.

↪𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘
XXXCanaryclan makes its home in the heart of an abandoned mining town. The town is small but sprawling, each house built a good distance from each other, but provides great shelter for the cats.
XXXOther than the town, Canaryclan's territory is a vast prairie. The land is covered in a quilt of tall, sun-kissed grasses that sway gently in the breeze, creating an undulating sea of green and gold. The grasses are also littered with wildflowers that paint the landscape in vibrant colors. Goldenrod, wild sunflowers, and prairie clover bloom in profusion during warmer months, attracting bees and butterflies with their nectar-rich blossoms.
The land itself seems to stretch on endlessly, interrupted only by occasional clusters of ancient trees and the meandering path of a clear, cool stream just on the outskirts of town. The stream serves as a source of fresh water for the Clan. Its banks are lined with soft, green moss and wildflowers as well as a giant oak for shade, creating a serene spot for cats to share tongues and drink.
XXXThe prairie experiences a range of weather; From hot, sunny summers to frigid winters. Thunderstorms, dust storms, and tornados are not an uncommon threat. In colder months, the land is blanketed in snow.
XXXXXX⤷ 𝑵𝑶𝑻𝑨𝑩𝑳𝑬 𝑳𝑶𝑪𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑺
ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴀɴᴀʀʏ ɴᴇsᴛ One of the larger, sturdier buildings that has become the central hub of Canaryclan. It serves as the Clan's gathering place, where the canaries themselves nest, and the leader's den. The leader's family also typically lives with them.
ᴛʜᴇ Qᴜᴀʀʀʏ An old quarry, once the heart of Twoleg industry, has been repurposed as a training ground for apprentices. It's a deep, rocky pit with a spiraling path down where cats practice their agility and hunting skills.
ᴛʜᴇ ᴛᴜɴɴᴇʟs A network of underground tunnels and chambers that serve as an extension of the Clan's territory. These dark, winding passages are where warriors go to hunt.
ᴛʜᴇ ʜᴏᴡʟɪɴɢ ᴘᴀᴛʜ Nearby the town are train tracks that are still used. Known to the cats as the Howling Path, the snake monster rarely visits but when it does, it announces itself loudly. The station itself, however, is no longer in use. But, its concrete foundation provides a vantage point for guards that watch over the clan at night.
↪𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐘 // 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒
XXXCanaryclan sees their canaries as sacred and, as a rule, does not eat them. However, there is plenty of other prey that they can find in both the tunnels and prairie.

Like most clans, Canaryclan believes in Starclan to guide them. They see them as a source of strength and guidance and are quite close to their ancestors. However, Canaryclan also acknowledges the existence of the Undermines. A shadowy and malevolent force, the Undermines are where exiled cats and other bad cats go (this clans version of the Dark Forest). These restless, envious spirits are thought to linger in the depths of the abandoned tunnels, harboring resentment and jealousy towards the living. They're considered dangerous and vindictive and it's said that if you go alone in the tunnels, you will meet them and may not come back.
↪𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐔𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
Canaryclan is known to be resilient and resourceful. They are a tight-knit Clan, bound together by their shared determination to thrive in a challenging environment. These cats have adapted to life among the remains of Twoleg industry. Outsiders often regard Canaryclan with a mix of curiosity and caution. That caution is warranted, as Canaryclan is quite defensive of their territory and their birds. However, if an outsider is keen to join them, they will welcome that cat with small town hospitality.
