Venomstar was vaguely impressed with Surfbird's hunting skills.
But the feeling was extinguished as soon as Surfbird gave him a toothy grin over the hare in his mouth.

Upon catching the hare, the scent of the blood rafted through the trees. As a cat approached them,
Surfbird chuckled, "We barely started patrolling, and we already found a newbie!"
Venomstar hushed him and humbly asked, "Were you lead here by the scent?"
They stated that initially, yes, but then they smelled other cats, and was willing to join.
"Not so fast I'm afraid. You will have to battle me. No claws, but light biting is allowed."
Venomstar blocked, "I kneed to know if you have what it takes to be with us."
The other cat was a little intrigued, "Hmm, alright. Deal."

Venomstar led with a blow to Tikkitavi's face, making him lose balance.
Tikkitavi stepped back, stared at Venomstar, then lunged forward. *classic move* Venomstar thought,
and deftly stepped aside. Tikkitavi was ready for this, as he knocked Venomstar's legs right out from
underneath him. He knew that this would get Venomstar to look at him, and he was correct.
As soon as Venomstar gave him a deep glare, Tikkitavi threw a pawful of dirt in his face,
and went for his throat. The battle was clearly won, Tikkitavi had his mouth gently clasped
around Venomstar's throat. He let go, and sat down, waiting for Venomstar's approval.
"You should be glad that I didn't want to kill you."
Venomstar huffed, "Like I would have let you." He sat down as well, "I can definitely tell
that you are a strong cat, so I will let you join my clan. I am Venomstar, what is your name?"
"Thank you, I'm Tikkitavi, at your service."

Surfbird was impressed by the battle, so much so that he was speechless after it ended,
Venomstar had to 'wake him up' by harshly bopping his nose with his tail.
Surfbird came out of his 'paralysis' coughing, "What'd you do that for!"
Venomstar grinned, "We're leaving, I thought you would rather come with us than stay here."
"Next time, maybe you should fight the newbie." Venomstar thought out loud.
Surfbird scrunched his nose, but was quiet as Venomstar led them back to camp.

the sound was quiet at first; a gentle, rhythmic ticking that seemed to sync with the pounding of paws
against soft mud. black fur flashed through the alleyways, dripping with water as heavy rain poured down.
the echoing clock grew louder and louder as pluto ran, golden eyes fixated on the massive tower in front of
them. their body moved without needing to be told where to go, pulling them closer to their destination.
the ticking rose to a deafening crescendo as the lithe feline entered and ascended the stairs. as soon as it
had started, the sound stopped. the city was silent except for the crashes of thunder and splashing of
water as the storm raged on. pluto stood on the edge of a massive stone clock, gazing at the markings
that spanned the entirety of the marble floor. dim light seemed to pulse beneath their paws, emitting a
deep hum with every step the leader took. in the center of the clock, a crystal spire floated above the
minute and hour hands, and galaxies seemed to spin above it. voices seemed to project from within it,
drawing pluto closer. they padded forward, dragging out their movements as they assessed the situation.
something magnetic pulled them to the crystal— what it was, pluto didn’t know. it had called out for the
timekeeper.

[lore] tempusclan is a clan of mystery, power, and isolation. they've been entrusted with the task
of ensuring that time and space stay stable. they have the ability to travel between timelines and
locations, thus somehow explaining the jumble of "tardis" clans in CAC. nobody knows how the
continuum crystal works— not yet. it is the thing that allows them to travel through time and space,
and must be kept intact to work. the crystal in tempusclan's camp is the main source of that power,
but there are smaller locations across the globe that function the same. the timekeeper is the only
cat with the ability to use the continuum crystal, for they've been selected by the cosmos.

[territory + food] as of now, tempusclan resides primarily in the year 3039. in 3026, a fatal manmade
disease wiped out 90% of the human population and it plummeted from 9.6 billion to 960 million.
animals and plants remained untouched and thrived without the supervision of mankind. elizabeth
tower, nicknamed big ben, was left abandoned after most, if not all, of london's population fell
victim to their sickness. left unsupervised, the continuum crystal has emerged from the chaos
and worked to stabilize life on earth. it's main core is at the top of big ben, but there are smaller
facets of it around the world. tempusclan's territory consists of most, if not all, of central london.
their camp is located in the palace of westminster, directly next to big ben. their food sources are
mice, squirrels, water voles, birds, frogs, and newts.

POV Fawnspeckle
The gentle breathing of other cats began to stir signalling that it was dawn. Fawnspeckle watched Aspenheart’s purplish-blue eyes open then her brother, Breezestorm’s. Fawnspeckle quickly padded out of the moss cover brambles which was the warriors den and waited to see if she could catch a glimpse of Aspenheart padding out. Once the broad shouldered mollie had padded past Fawnspeckle quickly joined her. “Let’s share a rabbit” Fawnspeckle suggested “Yeah, Breezestorm come join us” Aspenheart replied. No, go away Fawnspeckle thought. After what felt like only a moment Aspenheart left for a border patrol. Fawnspeckle soon headed out into the forest with Nightstep to look for herbs, as they came back into camp Fawnspeckle saw Aspenheart in the clearing talking to Wolftail She’s mine! Fawnspeckle thought. “Hey Aspenheart, would you like to come with me for a walk?” She asked calmly though she couldn’t help wiggling her tail. “Oh, of course” Aspenheart responded with her high-pitched mew. Silently the two mollies padded down the mountain and up the next. Aspenheart then cut Fawnspeckle off and stood in front of her “I get it you want to tell me something, you wouldn’t bring me all this way and then head back to camp like some sort of Fox-hearted warrior.” Fawnspeckle glanced down at her paws and whispered “I love you Aspenheart, I really do. It’s ok if you don’t love me ba..” Aspenheart cut her off “Yes I want to be your mate mouse-brain.” A new feeling that Fawnspeckle had never felt before bubbled in her heart, she let out a kit-like squeak of joy before being licked on the check by Aspenheart.

They trekked up the mountain further pelting around rocks and leaping higher at each jump. All until they reached the cliff where most cats in the clan had never been. Mountainclan cats usually spent time with friends on Nettle-mountain which was the one with camp. They often hunted on the other two mountains, but never as high as Aspenheart and Fawnspeckle where. “We can see the whole territory from here from here” Aspenheart squeaked looking a the view. Her tail in-twinged with Fawnspeckle’s as they gazed off into the distance. A puddle lay next to Fawnspeckle, she looked in at her pale-green eyes and peach spotted coat which was soon to be joined by Aspenheart’s Bluebell coloured eyes and Cinnamon pelt. “Your beautiful Fawnspeckle, you always will be” Aspenheart purred, “Let’s Go the clan must be missing us” Fawnspeckle sighed after licking her chest with embarrassment. “I wish we could spend all day here” Aspenheart mewed “though it looks like it’s about to rain”.

“Hurry” Fawnspeckle meowed as she leaped down from the base of the mountain and pelted under a pine tree just as the rain started. Aspenheart ran to join her only to slip on wet grass, “ah now I’m wet” she complained, though Fawnspeckle giggled. Together the went from tree to tree in hope to stay dry, though both of the mollies poets were plastered onto them from the rain. “Where have you been Aspenheart” Breezestorm fussed once they made it to camp. Fawnspeckle opened her mouth, only to be silenced by Aspenheart’s tail, “we went hunting at Juniper-mountain” She said. “Then where is your prey” Ravenshadow spat, as he bursted into the conversation. “We buried it but then we left it when the rain started” Aspenheart spat back defensively. When the crowd cleared the two of them shared tongues in the warrior’s den. “Hey Pebblefeather do you mind switching nest’s with me?” Fawnspeckle asked the tom who was grooming himself. “New mates I see” he teased as he padded over to Fawnspeckle’s old nest. That night Fawnspeckle went to sleep with her nest merged together with Aspenheart’s just like Tawnyfall and Duststripe’s nest. Just before she went to sleep Fawnspeckle thought back to just before they went to bed when Nettlestar announced to the clan that she and Ravenshadow were mates and then that Fawnspeckle and Aspenheart were mates. Fawnspeckle remembered how embarrassed she felt when Cloverpaw asked why they were both mollies and then to be defended by her own apprentice Finchpaw.

Ridgepelt locked eyes with tawnyheart knowingly. She nodded, and tawnyheart turned to one of her sons.
"Sprucekit, why don't you go say hello to ridgepelt." She suggested. The little brown and white tabby tom nodded and ran over, skidding to a halt in front of the gray and white medicine cat.
"Hi ridgepelt!" He mewed.
"Hello little one." She rested her fluffy tail on his tiny shoulders. "Would you like to come see inside my den?" Sprucekit nodded eagerly. She led him inside and sat down watching as he sniffed the herbs lined against the wall, neatly stacked. Suddenly he must have come across a smell he recognized, because he bounced up and down exitedly.
"Ooh! Ooh! I know this one! Yarrow! You used it for me when i ate that herb. I'm still very sorry about that." He lowered his gaze and shuffled his paws on the ground.
"Don't you worry about that, it's in the past." now was the time to ask. She knew it didn't matter anyways, after all, he had already been promised, but she wanted it to be his choice. "I wanted to ask you something." He tilted his head to the side. "How would you feel about becoming my apprentice?"
"Sure! Wait. Does that mean i won't be able to see my brothers and sisters?" She laughed at this.
"Don't worry little one, you will be able to see them!" He smiled.
"Good!" He scurried out of the den. She followed and met featherstar's gaze from where she lay in the nursery. Then ridgepelt nodded and featherstar's eyes glittered knowingly.

Ivykit woke up early the next morning, and pounced on her littermates to wake them. Then she looked outside to see the sun was already up.
"Come on guys, let's go play!" Just them ivykit's mother, tawnyheart woke up.
"Not today, my little dewdrops, we are going to be doing something special today."
"Indeed we are." Featherstar said, and heaved herself to her paws. Her belly was quite swollen, and she walked awkwardly over to the tallstump. She hefted herself up, and almost flopped down. "Let all cats old enough to run beneath the mists join me here beneath the tallstump for a clan meeting.
"Come on." Her mother whispered and herded ivykit and her littermates into the clearing. She licked the six of them, smoothing down any tufty fur. Cats were already in gathering in the center of camp. Their father was standing proudly in the crowd, his eyes shining proudly. Ivykit, her littermates and their mother, all gathered beneath the tall uprooted tree stump. Featherstar took a deep breath.
"Cats of mistyclan," the silver leader began, reciting the words. "We have six kits who are ready to be made apprentices, and i ask you to look down on them, and i commend each of them to your noble code. They are more than ready to serve their clan for many moons to come. Sootkit, please come forward." Ivykit's brother stepped forwards, and faced featherstar. "Is it your wish to become a warrior apprentice of mistyclan?"
"Yes!" He almost cried.
"Then i name you Sootpaw. Talonstep. In your time with the clan, you have demonstrated courage and loyalty to your clanmates. You will be sootpaw's mentor, and i expect you will pass on all you know to this apprentice." On it went. Larkkit became larkpaw and was apprenticed to blizzardfoot to help her with her eyesight troubles, juncokit became juncopaw and was apprenticed to archclaw. Ivykit barely suppressed a shiver as her sister touched noses with the scary warrior. Reedkit became reedpaw and was apprenticed to myrtleshade. The tortoiseshell she-cat was a pretty good mentor. Finally it was ivykit's turn.
"Ivykit, please come forward. Are you ready to be an apprentice of mistyclan?"
"Yes featherstar!"
"Then you will be known as ivypaw until such time that you recieve your warrior name. Wolftail, i know you to be a compassionate father and a dkilled deputy. You will be ivypaw's mentor, and i trust you will train her well." Ivypaw forced herself to walk slowly as she touched noses with her father and mentor. Now the last one was sprucekit. Ever since he got back from the medicine den yesterday, he had bern acting funny.
"Sprucekit, come forward. I understand you wish to be a medicine cat apprentice, correct?" With a glsnce at ridgepelt, who nodded encoragingly, sprucekit nodded.
"Yes."
"Very well, than if it is your choice, you will be known as sprucepaw until you receive your full medicine cat name." He touched noses with ridgepelt, and featherstar continued.
"Lastly, tawnyheart, is it your wish to return to being a warrior?"
"Yes, it is."
"Very well. Than you are now welcomed back as a warrior of mistyclan. Clan dismissed." Then the clearing began to empty out, as every cat headed their own way.

I'd love to create a clan!

Clan Name: Flightclan

Description: Flightclan gets their name from one specific trait - their amazing ability to glide through the trees. In a forest with minimal ground prey, Flightclan has chosen to take to the trees. Through generations, they have become one with the forest they inhabit and shifted some of their customs that come from the original clans to fit their new lifestyle. They are fiercely protective of their territory and willing to defend it with their lives.

Territory: Located in a valley and surrounded by mountains, Flightclan is situated on the Falcon River in the middle of a large forest. The camp is in a small thicket on one of the smaller streams coming off of the Falcon River. North of the camp lies Lone Oak, a massive oak tree that is often used for various ceremonies and gatherings. To the east, the training grounds that are used to train up the next generation of Flightclan warriors. Situated in the south, on the beaches of the Falcon River, is Whispering Sands, a popular spot for young warriors and apprentices looking for something to do. In the middle of the territory, crossing over the river lies Fallen Trees, a mess of dead trees the cats often use to cross Falcon River.

Reputation: Flightclan has quite a reputation in their native forest. Even though there aren't any established clans surrounding them, there are always groups of rouges looking to steal prey and cause trouble. However, when they enter Flightclan's part of the forest they always know to keep their heads on a swivel and look up as they are known for their precise and unforgiving surprise attacks. And although the clan is very strict on their boundaries and don't usually like visitors, every cat in the forest knows they can depend on the clan and its leader in an emergency or a time of need.

History: Flightclan's history begins long ago when the four clans were still alive. There were years of plenty, so much food and because of this, lots of new members to the clans as they took advantage of the abundance. However, this didn't last long and they began to overhunt, eventually leading to a great prey shortage. Cats began to starve and the clans started to fall apart. Although most cats decided to stay with their clans in the hopes that things would improve, a small group decided to break off. From Thunderclan came Falconbreeze, a strong, determined cat who could not stand to see his friends slowly die off. He took those who decided to follow him on a great trek lasting many days until they eventually came upon their new territory where Flightclan was founded.

Prey: Utilizing their advantage in the trees, Flightclan relies mostly on birds and squirrels for their main source of food. However, they certainly won't pass up the opportunity for mice, rabbits, voles, and fish.

Predators: Birds of prey are common in the area as well as foxes, coyotes, bobcats, and even the occasional bear!

Cats: Most cats here have long, fluffy tails for balance and a thick coat to help protect against scratching branches.
