Rage finally wakes from his lonely slumber.
He looked around in an empty clan to make sure there were no predators, since he was all alone. The Tom let out a deep sigh and prepared himself to patrol and hunt for himself. He headed out of the camp and lead himself closer to the two-legs village.

It's Spring~ Birds are flying through the sky, flowers are blossoming, and everything is becoming green once again.

Starteller tried her best to settle the nervous Isis down. She felt the queen’s anxiety; with her kits, Horus and Minerva, running off every now and then, it was worrying. Who knew which hawk wouldn’t hesitate to pick up a juicy kit or two?

Chrysos did a good job playing with Minerva and Horus, but Lelentos called him to training for the day. Artemis volunteered to stay to guard the kits, but Isis decided to stay. Artemis went on a patrol and Apollo went hunting with Starteller.

"- and they shall be the mentors for these new To-Bes." Dawnteller announced.
A small smile escaped from Ember, but his eyes were filled with worry. Acorn had mixed feelings: he had his first to-be, yet an event soon to happen caused him to worry. Leaf was sat by her mentor, sharing worried glances with her mentor. Wind was shivering as if she had just been told her kit was forced to eat Deathberries even though that had been just under a moon ago. "Bring the prisoner!" Dawnteller's voice was also shaking, it had shocked her that one of the first groups of cats that had joined turned out to be as bad tempered as some rouges. Oak and Rowan were behind Shadow in case she tried to escape. Acorn shuddered, and Ember growled. "You are exiled! Do you want to drag anyone down with you?" the healer spat. "Acorn, Ember, come with me." Shadow growled. "We can't stay in this crow-food dump." She whipped round and yanked at Acorn's ear. Oak quickly jumped forward, but stopped as soon as he saw Dawnteller's tail raise, betraying her anger. He could tell she was telling him to to interfere. "I would never join you, you pile of crow-food! For two mousetails I'd chase you out!" the tom spat in anger, his eyes ablaze. To show his bursting hate he tore his head away, tearing his ear but betraying no pain. "Ember! Take pity on me! You helped me find those berries." the she-cat continued coldly, leaving the crowd gasping. "I'd rather die then join you. You told me you were looking for yarrow, you rat!" this made the crowd boo at Shadow. "Chase her out or-" "let us do the honors!" Acorn and Ember growled in unison, their paws already racing as the she-cat yowled one last promise.
"Dawnteller, you will rule the day you made this tribe!"

"Shadow?" Rowan called softly. "Are you still here?" suddenly a flurry of black dashed out at him, growling. "Are you here to chase me out? Or are you here to admit you were too weak to join me?" the tom pushed Shadow off him, growling. "No... I want you to be my mate..." Rowan admitted. "Like Pearl then... just so you can use me? Or what about Amber?" she snarled back. "No... I actually do want to be your mate-" the tom paused shyly. "Join me then. We can have power, and overrule that rat of a leader!" Rowan paused again. "I can't leave the tribe- I have to pose as a loyal warrior. But... I can be your eyes in the tribe. Then I can spy for you. After that we can become leaders." Shadow nodded, her eyes bright."Deal." the she-cat slyly watched as he left, before continuing.
"But I am the sole leader forevermore."

"sunteller! we have a... problem." badger interrupted sunteller's dozing, and dawn looked up with a plaintive expression on her face.
"yes, badger? i do hope this is important and imperative." she murmured, the tan-cat stretching out her paws in front of her before letting out a yawn.
"there's a cat here... she says she knows you."

Weather report:

It's Spring! Puddles are dotting the ground, and the often rainfall makes territories very muddy, causing more cats to be near the tribes in hope of taking shelter while they can. Herbs are even more common and kittings will be a lot easier while the warmer weather lasts.

Sunset nodded, frozen and reluctant for a bit before turning and cautiously stalking off to head home.
"Now then. Follow me. I'll see what I can do." The teller led the mother along in search of her family.

Sky was nervous about the possibility of another beast like the one she had seen with her brother before, glancing around more often than she smelled the air for prey. Not like there seemed to be anything all that edible in the swamp anyway. She couldn't help but flinch each time even the tiniest of sounds came from her eyes up above. She could swear that she felt and heard his judgment of her as she moved quickly, yet clumsily through the mud. Lucky tom got to sit up in the trees where it's dry all day. She muttered a curse under her breath, climbing up to a branch, glancing at Flame. The ginger tom's tail was slightly twitching as he crouched, eyes focused on something. All of a sudden he jumped, landing on the branch of another tree, a bird struggling to escape his jaws as the Tree-Dweller got a good firm hold on its wing with his teeth. The cat pinned the bird, slitting its throat and picking it up by the neck.
"Whatcha staring at, toots?" He asked, eyeing the sitting molly that watched him, speaking around the feathers that muffled his speech.
"Oh, nothing, nothing. Think that crazy Leafteller would let me hunt in the trees too?" She moved from branch to branch more cautiously, but soon reached him, sitting beside the waiting tom.
"I wouldn't count on it, but it's worth a shot. Anyway, you wanna still hunt? All the birds in the area are probably gone now, but maybe you could strike some juicy morsel down there too. While you weren't looking, I'm quite sure I saw some fish splash around in the water nearby." He offered, gesturing to the vague direction with his tail, trying to be helpful.
"No thanks. Even if that's true, I think I prefer being in the camp even. It's dry there and the sun comes through the trees."
"Fair point, fair point. There's four of us, though. Are you sure this bird will be enough of a catch."
"It'll have to do. Come on. I'm supposed to be leading this." Sky sighed, trying to move through the branches to get back without even more mud on her paws. She was slow, but Flame didn't mind slowing down and matching her pace. They made it back to camp a bit longer after than they normally would have, but no one was complaining. The first thing they saw was a lone white and ginger tom pacing around in the small clearing, looking anxious. Sky hurried to her brother's side, the two greeting each other cheerfully, sharing news about what had happened while they were out and if they saw any more of those alligators. As Sky spoke about Flame's catch, she looked around, only to notice he was out of sight, having disappeared somewhere. She sighed, going back to chatting without him around.

weather: new-leaf! the floodwaters have receded and plants are beginning to grow again, the air heavy with the thick scent of flowers blooming. prey is abundant, kittings will be smoother than ever, and new cats are likely to be found.

It wasn't long for Boulder. It was quite nice out today. He was enjoying the pleasant day. Though he had to get back on track. Would those cats Copperteller even be out here? He didn't know. Boulder sighed softly before freezing when hearing something. Boulder looked around on alert before seeing a smaller tom race out over to him and tackle him. "Ah die you filthy cat!" He screamed slapping the tom. Only then did Boulder see a she cat enter the scene and... she was gorgeous. "Jay get off of him! Don't you dare say those words again." She yowled and yanked the tom off. The she cat set Jay aside and meowed,'"I'm so sorry for that. Please don't mind my son. He's a huge troublemaker." She explained. "Oh your good dear! Nothing to worry at all. He's young so I understand." Boulder purred. "The names Boulder That Sits On Cliff Ledge but you can call me Boulder. How about you?" He introduced himself. "I'm Blue Sky During Clear Day or Blue. My son is Jay That Sings Songs or just Jay." Blue introduced. "Goregous name you have there. Now quick question, do you know uh... Copperteller by any chance?" Boulder asked. Blue flicked an ear and meowed, "Just a Copper That Shines In Cave." She looked over at her son who was trying to swat a rock around and sighed. "Oh... maybe that was his name? Follow me and I'll bring you to him. If you don't know him, I'll send you off."

Eventually Boulder, Blue, and Jay entered the tribe camp. "Copperteller, I may have the cats you're looking for!" Boulder called out. Like that, Copperteller emerged from his den and tensed up in shock. Blue did as well and the two siblings were just looking at each other. "Mama look it's uncle Copper!" Jay squeaked out before he ran over to the tom and started nuzzling him. Copperteller looked down at the young tom and smiled happily. "Hey there little squirt. Have you been keeping your mom busy?" He purred happy. Blue eventually padded over and nuzzled her brother as well. Copperteller looked over at the prey-hunter off to the side and meowed, "Thank you Boulder."

Later that day were Blue and Jay going to receive their claw marks. Copperteller approached him with some water and unsheathed claws. "As custom to this tribe, new cats or cats coming of age will receive special claw marks. Blue, you've requested to be a guard. For that, a simple slash mark inside a circle on your shoulder will be awarded. Jay, for being a to-be for a prey hunter, Boulder will mentor you and you will receive an eye." He meowed before dipping his paw into the water and approached Blue. With that, the tom started to claw the marks on her shoulder and splash water to rinse away the blood. When Blue was done, Jay was next and he was scared. His mother reassured him and the tom got an eye on his shoulder. Eventually he raced over to Boulder with joy about him mentoring him. "Welcome back sis." Copperteller eventually meowed out to his sister.

"I smell Shadow." Dawnteller sniffed. Acorn and Ember shuddered, Acorn running a paw over his ear self-consciously where Shadow had torn his ear, before letting out a small sneeze and a cough. Dawnteller's ears pricked as she heard this, but she meowed nothing, her eyes searching the cave where the telling was being held. Under her watchful gaze searched for a cat shuffling uncomfortably, before her gaze lay on Rowan. He was shuffling a little, his gaze down. "Rowan?" his face turned to horror before he masked it with a calm expression. "You are guilty! I can see it in your face!" she determined. "Sh-she's very knowing." Olive whispered to Rowan as he stepped forward under the calm moon. Both cats had talked with the former Haze-Hunter about overthrowing the tribe. "Step forward. Acorn, can you scent Shadow on his pelt?" Acorn shook his head. "My nose is blocked." Sniggers rose from the crowd from younger cats. "Ember, can you?" the healer continued, losing her patience. "Yes." Rowan sneezed too sadly. Pearl let out a gasp, and Dawnteller could definitely see out of the corner of her eye Amber's face turning to a scowl for a moment.
"Rowan, you are exiled for sneaking out to see exiled clanmates and betraying your clan!"

Amber was worried. The father of her kits had been exiled, and something seemed to be off with Flicker. While her other kits played normally, Flicker seemed to stare into nothing. When called they seemed to take a while to come to her, yet they weren't disobedient. Flicker's personality was like a blank canvas of snow. She knew there was a mystery to be solved, but she thought it would be better to wait for a moon.

We roar, we rage, we reign!

Crag smiled at the young molly who grinned nervously in response. ''W-why are you being nice to me?'' squeaked Fang,ear twitching anxiously. ''I mean...you, you could've just been nice to your tribe-mates instead of a complete s-stranger?'' The coal-black hunter inquired, ears pricked. ''I'm just Fang, nobody special.''

''You are the only cat not to tick me off, that's special.'' Crag replied coolly, recalling the way Storm had looked at her when she'd entered the camp with the black figure trailing shyly behind. The look of suspicion in his eyes was hurtful and made humiliation burn in Crag's belly. ''And the only cat I've smiled at so far, so there's that.'' She added breezily, padding along some kelp-strewn tide-pools.

''Uh, thanks.'' Fang replied, trotting after her. ''I...I'm really honoured.''
