The days are slowly starting to grow hotter and heat exhaustion will become a thing for your cats. You should be careful sending patrols in the middle of the day. Prey is still abundant as they enjoy the warmth and they need to focus on stuffing themselves for next leaf bare. Predators are also going to be about more and the odds of running into two legs or anything to do with them is rather high.

As you all have may noticed CaC has its very own lineart! The lines were created by the very talented Grey_Hoodie and are being colored in by various other mods, mini mods and the CaC artists. Allowing us to use the lineart for your cats lets us give more unique patterns as we are limited to free to use pictures. If you want your cats to be transferred onto the lineart all you have to do is get in contact with a mod and the team will take care of it.

I have also noticed that a lot of you have not been adding pebbles correctly. Remember, every post you make you get four pebbles automatically. Patrols will sometimes bring back extra pebbles they find as well! Pebbles can be used here at the cac store anytime!

Valleyrunner encountered an adder, it struck him just above the eye. The pain was, and still is, great and he is starting to notice that it is harder to see. He started to get disoriented and headed away from camp and eventually out of the territory where he found a little hollow to rest in. It smelled of something strange but he wasn't in the mood to be picky. The tom closed his eyes for a small nap but ended up sleeping for a few days. Will you send out a patrol to look for him?

Nightstar's POV:
Nightstar sat on a rock in camp, watching Palemoon and Turtleshine talk. She smiled at the thought of everyone getting along well in her clan before she heard a rustle behind her. She turned her head and a furry black tom came out of the bushes, he had pale yellow-green eyes and some grey patches. He was holding different kinds of herbs in his mouth. She looked back at Turtleshine and Palemoon who were now looking at the cat holding 4 different herbs in his mouth. She turned back to him and saw cobweb stuck to his paw. "Hello." She meowed softly. This big cat could easily defeat her in battle- but.. He did seem like a healer. Her ears suddenly lifted and she stood up. "You must be our new medicine cat!"

The tom looked surprised. "So I made it to Fateclan, huh?" He meowed, dropping his medicines while keeping the wad of cobwebs on his paw. "Oh yes! Welcome!" Nightstar purred. "The medicine den is over there!" She flicked her tail towards it and the tom, picking up his herbs, padded towards it. "Hm, comfy." He meowed before coming out, the herbs gone. Palemoon and Turtleshine were just staring at him. "Turtleshine and Palemoon, last moon I went to the Moonstone to request a medicine cat, Starclan said they accepted my request and here he his!" Nightstar explained. "Now for the naming ceremony!"

Ceremony skipped, the new medicine cat is Brighteyes!---

Palemoon's POV:
After Brighteyes' ceremony was finished Palemoon and Turtleshine went back to the warriors den. Turtleshine rested for a bit before Palemoon woke her up. "Uh, can I ask you something?" Turtleshine lifted her head, yawning. "Yes Palemoon?" Palemoon took a deep breath before asking her the question. "Now, I know I've only known you for like a moon now but I feel like our friendship has really grown over that time." Turtleshine nodded, her wide, pale-green eyes full of interest and curiosity. "So I think it's time for you and I to take it to the next level. Turtleshine, will you be my mate?" He stared at her, awaiting her answer. Turtleshine was very still before she spoke again. "Well, I thought you'd never ask! Of course!" She licked her new mate's shoulder, purring.

For mods: Dark-pelted cats are common, lighter-pelts are more rare and hardly accepted as rogues/loners/kittypets
Palemoon is more of a hunting cat so if he is sent on a border patrol without other cats feel free to give him a higher chance to get hurt but don't kill him.
Nightstar is more of a fighter, she doesn't really hunt so feel free to have her not catch anything while on a hunting patrol
Turtleshine is more fit to both things
Don't kill high ranks unless It says to do so here.
Herbs grown in a forest territory are commonly found. Herbs found in a wide open space can only be found in camp. other herbs will be much harder to find. There are a few streams running through the territory so smaller water herbs can be found.

RAVENPAW - INFIRMARY

Ravenpaw's face fell. Why did she have to be the one apprentice who couldn't pass their warrior ceremony? Her pelt burned hot with shame. "I'm sorry, Dawnscreech. At this rate I'll never become a warrior." "You do have a knack for failing training sessions," she remarked. While it was meant to be playful, Ravenpaw felt worse after she said that. Three failed training lessons! And now they got themselves in the infirmary.

"That's okay, Ravenpaw," Dawnscreech quickly added, in case Ravenpaw's feelings were hurt. "We'll take it slow." "My brother will be a warrior," she growled vehemently, burying her furry face into the moss nest. It smelled strongly of an herb she couldn't name. "Two moons! And I might fail again," she moaned.

"I hope you don't mind if I crash into your pity party," a voice spoke up. It was Deathpaw, who had her head cocked to the side, not very sympathetic of Ravenpaw's situation at all. She didn't seem to really care, or understand. "You'll become a medicine cat before I become a warrior!" Ravenpaw wailed, batting her away. Deathpaw's ear only twitched. "I'm only halfway through my training, and I'm not in any hurry to graduate. Anyway, I'll be too busy healing you all from the battle to properly learn medicine much." She flicked her tail, turning around to nod toward the entrance of the den. "You have a visitor."

"Inkpaw!" Ravenpaw cried as the black apprentice rushed to her side after being admitted in by Deathpaw. He stopped a tail-length away from her when he noticed Sablepaw's withering glare from his quiet corner. "Don't mind him," Ravenpaw purred, stepping between the two. "How did your training go?" "You got injured," Inkpaw told her, ignoring her question. She shrugged his concern off, but he insisted, "You got hurt, Ravenpaw! Look how twisted your pretty paw is."

She gazed sadly at him. "You'll be a warrior before me." He paused, about to say something, but then he let out a bellow of laughter. "For StarClan's sake," Deathpaw said crossly. "Keep it down!" "You fell during your climbing session and twisted your paw, and what you're worried about is that I become a warrior before you?" Her cheeks burned. "I wanted to graduate together, you know that." "Me too," he mewed, his voice softening. "I talked to Silentstar, she said she can delay my warrior ceremony. Or, you know, I can always fake my training sessions to match with yours," he joked.

"I'm sure that's not needed," she purred. "I'm glad you lovebirds have it all figured out," Whiteflurry growled, whipping her head around to glare at Inkpaw. "But there are warriors who need to rest. I advise you leave, Inkpaw." He gave Ravenpaw an encouraging smile before being shooed out by the cranky medicine cat.

BLACKWHISKER - LEADER'S DEN

"Silentstar, that was very foolish," Blackwhisker murmured to Silentstar. He was probably the only one in the clan who dared approach her in such a straight forward manner, but she didn't mind if it was him. "Look, we made it out unscathed," Silentstar told him, tail flicking impatiently. "And we showed those rogues a lesson. They won't be trespassing for a few moons." "Was it worth it, though?" He glanced around nervously, half-expecting for rogues to ambush them right this instant.

"Don't worry," Silentstar reassured him. "They've seen how much our clan has grown. They won't underestimate us now. Anyway, we strengthened ties and alliances with the Shadowed Kingdom." He remembered the brute cats of the foreign clan and shivered. Their leader had been impressive at the Gathering, and he didn't dare approach him or Silentstar until the event was over.

"Silentstar!" Blackwhisker turned, blinking as the calico molly leaped into the den. She seemed somewhat shy, out of character for the boisterous trickster. "Ah, guess what?" Without waiting for an answer, they burst, "I got a mate!" "That's great," Silentstar mewed, her usual lack of enthusiasm in her tone. "You've gone long enough without one. Who is it? Some stray rogue you picked up near the border?"

"I am offended," Maplewhisker sniffed, bumping against Silentstar playfully. She swatted Maplewhisker back. "It's Silkenstep!" "Didn't you put a live snake in his nest the other week?" "Silent, you don't think he could fall for my charms?" She jumped up and down eagerly. If she weren't the Maplewhisker Blackwhisker knew, he could've sworn she would be squealing with joy by now. "Congrats, Maplewhisker," he said, genuinely happy for her. "I'm sure you'll suit one another just fine."

"He he," she replied, smiling back at them. "You're going to play a potentially life-threatening joke on us aren't you?" Silentstar groaned, turning over and closing her eyes, though Blackwhisker knew she was glad for Maplewhisker too.
