The molly made her way through the forest, she wanted to find the next addition to her clan and she needed it, it was important to her traditions and values. Teller of Glowing Souls jumped onto a low hanging tree branch and started making her way up the tree, soon jumping from branch to branch and walking across the think long branches. Her claws dig into the wood as she kept her balance. Her eyes twitched as a bird flew right in front of her but she still didn't lose her balance and started down the tree, her paws soon meeting the ground and the cave she was looking for came into view.

The cave was large but not dark, the pool had a glow to it that lit up the cave. The pool led out to the sea making the cave salty smelling and rather fresh. Glow sat down and looked at the pool before closing her eyes. "I ask of you to send me a Mort-Skinner, one that can help me create the values and traditions in my clan, a cat that is strong and smart, one who rarely doubts their actions."

twig's whiskers trembled as he inched forward on the branch, the black swift in front of him preening itself, droplets of water on its dark feathers from the recent rain. he was soundless, paws gliding over bark as he moved, a light breeze blowing downwind. the creature had no clue he was there. it had only been a moon since he'd joined sungazer, but she was good to him. the tabby-and-white tom didn't quite understand the way things worked, didn't quite believe in all this talk of spirits in the stars, but he did know one thing. winters were hard without shelter, and having a partner to hunt with was better than doing so alone. he was confident in sungazer's abilities after she'd demonstrated, and he was certain that the coming days would bring more fortune together.

Sunshadow stands on a large rock, looking out across the oasis' water. The sun's rays seemed to dance across the water. It was peaceful here in his new home. Sunshadow smiles, getting right to work. He had to go out and gather nesting material, maybe even look for new cats along the way.

next mud-den visit: thursday july twentieth

When Snake had shown up Mudreader had again been taken by surprise. He had the short fur the Healer expected of a Muddy Fern cat but he was so.. small. Not tiny, per-say, but shorter then Fawn. Mudreader learned from his last mistake with Fawn to keep his mouth shut and simply be grateful for the tom's appearance. Turns out Snake wouldn't even have minded - he was quite a laid-back tom, not easily angered. Fawn, as it turns out, was quickly growing to hate the tom. Something about the way Snake interacted with the she-cat made Mudreader think that Snake was acting out for.. particularly romantic reasons. That morning Mudreader decided to keep Fawn and Snake separate - he couldn't handle the headache this morning.

Sunwatcher stiffled a purr as she watched the young dilute calico run ahead of her out of the cave. "Oh, I can already tell she is going to be too much for me." Bird laughed, stepping up next to Sunwatcher as they watched after Horizon. Sunwatcher snickered, bumping Bird's shoulder with her own.

"Horizon will be good at catching rabbits, her legs are long enough for it." Sunwatcher commented as she began walking again, following after Horizon. Bird nodded in agreement before running ahead, bounding down the small rocky drop that was at the end of the trail that led up to the tribe cave. Sunwatcher hurried after Bird, dropping down onto the soft grass of the valley.

Horizon circled back and padded up to the two other she-cats. "Are we going to stay in the valley? Or are we going to go to that lake you were talking about?"

"We'll go to the Sacred Lake today." Sunwatcher mewed, touching her tail to Horizon's shoulder before heading off in the direction of the lake. Horizon made a pleased noise before following after the brown, ginger and white tabby she-cat.

the tribe of crimson sunsets is located in the middle of a desert surrounded by oases. due to the intense heat, these cats have relatively short fur and will coat their fur in mud to keep cool and blend in better with their surroundings. during the summer, they will hunt at night, however, will stay deep in their burrows during the cold winter moons when the temperature can plummet well below negative at night. (summer = night hunting & winter = day hunting) they live deep underground in a series of tunnels that their ancestors had formed many generations ago; there's a cave with access to the surface where cats socialize, eat, and hold ceremonies. attached to this cave are multiple smaller caves where the cats sleep. these cats tend to be boastful and daring, yet stubborn. should you win over their loyalty and respect, they will fiercely defend you until the day they die. their diet mainly consists of cottontail & jack rabbits, tortoises, lizards, squirrels, tarantulas, quail, and mourning doves. (need help working out servings?)

twig padded quietly through the undergrowth, green eyes distant. he was beginning to feel at home in the place, more comfortable walking along the ground than the gazer of the shining sun. he glanced up, the sunlight warm on his back as it was filtered into dapples by the wide leaves of the ancient cedars high above him, and his nose twitched. prey was plentiful, the weather was warm--he certainly hoped it stayed that way. whiskers quivering, he turned his head, looking out over the foliage, before shifting to mark the bushes along the border. some part of him hoped they'd find another prey-hunter soon. sungazer was company, but she was a cat of few words. it would be nice to have someone to talk to.

a gnatcatcher called in the branches above him, and his nose twitched as he continued on.

"Such healthy kits to be the future of the tribe." Grassteller praised Magpie, there was even a hint of excitement mixed with pride in her own voice. "The one you named Rain Clouds Above looks like they will be a fine guard one day and Dark Clouds Above will be a swift hunter, I can tell." The molly declared.

"For now though they both make great snuggle bugs and they need their sleep." Magpie chuckled before curling around them and purring. Though the queen needed sleep the most she felt like she couldn't because there was no guards for the camp just yet and that frightened her some.

"Very well, take care for now. I am going to do a border patrol and look for herbs, who knows maybe I will get lucky?" Grassteller mused to herself on the way out of the nursery. She spotted Branch hidden in the grasses, eating the remains of a ground squirrel and padded to him. "If you do go out hunting today could you maybe stay close to camp? I know Magpie is worried and I want her to at least get a little sleep." she commented, pleased to see that Branch nodded to her and continued to eat.

This tribe is in a small forest that has two rivers flowing by. It's claim and quiet for them so they can sleep easily.
From the sun burning so hot sometimes fires can happen and it can travel to the ground. But it's far for them, so it's
rare to happen.

The healer are here is very nice and will accept anyone who will accept her. She loving to have around and will take care of
anyone from her tribe.
