Pack of Olympic Forest
Number of Dogs: 14 adults, 2 pups; 8 female, 8 male

Blue lay in his hollow under an imposing cedar, brooding over what Raleigh had relayed to him. Apparently, she'd been having this recurring dream about him and her going to an old junkyard. There were other dogs there, but she never saw them clearly. "I wouldn't go near any junkyards anytime soon," he had warned her.

Meanwhile, the pack was in an uproar all about Blue. Jack and Freya had returned to camp, winded from running. Panting, Jack had told the pack that Pie was stuck in a trap with a broken leg. With a wail, Raleigh had dashed off the way the pair had come,
closely tailed by Rowdy. Now, they had returned, but Rowdy's face was ashen. They laid Pie in a clean hollow and the shaman turned to Mousie.

"Lass, we'd best be hunting now. I need the herbs I ain't got!" He lamented. The two disappeared into the forest.

Starkie listened to the commotion but made no effort to move. After all, Pie had all but abandoned her and his pups!

Slowly, the terriers went their separate ways, with only Starkie and Raleigh remaining in camp.

Trevor came back with a new dog to show to Kai and Anne. I wonder if they'll even notice. Trevor thought with a chuckle. Anne and Kai happily trotted back, with two birds. Trevor was actually quite impressed, he thought they wouldn't be able to catch anything. "Hey, good job! Thank you for hunting, I'd like to introduce you to Sandra." The kennel conversed while sharing the small bird Kai caught. "I caught it all by myself!!" Kai proudly held his head high. He hoped Anne wouldn't call him out on it. Anne decided not to, but had no idea why. Perhaps she had a soft spot for this flirt.

Trevor asked Anne to go hunting, and Sandra to find more herbs if she wished to. "Best of luck finding herbs in this weather Sandra." "Thank you Trevor." Trevor then asked Kai to take a patrol with him. "Kai, the other day, you did not listen to your Alpha. You were highly disrespectful, and if you continue to be, I will have to banish you from this pack." Kai shrank, he really regretted what he had done. "Sorry Trevor, I won't ever do it again. I respect you, and always will. I regret pushing you away..." Trevor smiled at his response. "Thank you, you truly sound like an Irontooth now." Kai was relieved. "Well then, lets go patrol!" Kai said with a smile. And they bounded away with huge smiles on their faces.

Current Season: Fall
Weather Report: The morning and evening air is starting to become cooler. Prey is starting to dwindle as they begin hibernating. Predators have become more common and two-legs have come to hunt the boar, watch out for traps!

OOC:In regards to the dream! It will start Monday, August 7th starting at 5pm (pacific time zone) and will end Thursday, August 10th at 5pm (pacific time zone). The reason we have it so long is because some of you might go to school/work and we want everyone to get in the gathering. Yes you can still put up clan posts and use the dogs you have at the gathering and yes you will still get replies from mods. If you have any questions pleas ask on the fanclub or shoot me or folly a PM and we will answer it right away.

Nina moved in front of the male "Enough Wallen, they are just a pup after all." The female looked down at the brown pitbull and asked "Who is your dad anyways?"

"Well he is The Boss!" The pup barked with attitude. It shocked Nina because Kodiak didn't even have a mate and this pup looked like no dog back at camp, maybe Stone? But there was not a single resemblance.

"Follow us." Wallen barked before turning away, he was going to leave this ball of attitude for Kodiak to deal with.

The ancestors show Kodiak that Korra will make a fine Irontooth.
Bear, June and Rose learn the hunting skill when the each catch their first mouse.
Parker and Eagle find rush and horsetail.
Eagle learns herb picking.
Nina, Wallen and Brittany find Boss's adopted pup.
(Maybe this is how Charlie will her mind? But this pup is Boss' weakness/very protective)

On their patrol the two found a dog waiting at the border "Ah, I was beginning to think you would never come and that I would have to go looking for you." They politely dipped their head to the two of them as they minded the border line that marks the territory. "I am a Shaman and I think I can help you out in exchange for a place to stay and some food to eat?" they offered.

Connor and Koda find a potential Shaman! Choose five herbs from here to start.

"Be careful when you mark these things, we don't need any other dog getting hurt like Pie did." Blue commanded with slight worry. Even he was being overly cautious but he knew this had to be done so there would be no more accidents. The others nodded and made yips of acknowledgement as they continued to the traps, being very careful with the concealed metal teeth.

The traps in the territory have been marked.
Rowdy and Mousie find two rush and catmint.
Briar, Badger and Rocky catch a rabbit and a squirrel.
Jack, Stitches and Freya catch two hares.
(I just noticed that you made tenderpaws into Ironteeth, if you could put that transition into the bottom portion next time? It would help me out a little to keep track because Blue would have not been ready to become an Ironteeth since they only had 3 training sessions. I will skip this now because it was my fault for not noticing, but next time please do this)

Trevor stirred in his sleep, his ancestors had been visiting him in his dreams for the last few days. They showed him an odd place that was a ways away from her own territory but it was oddly to the same spot. Trevor was curious enough to follow every night while they slept, sometimes even finding Sandra waiting there with the same puzzled expression. They talked with each other while they were awake as they tried to figure out what the ancestors wanted and determined that they are to travel there, they just don't know when. A few more nights passed like this, the dreams grew more detailed as they learned it was an abandoned Junkyard they were traveling to. Trevor climbed to a high spot in the piles of junk and looked around, there wasn't much to see really until they looked up and saw the bright full moon over head. It was then that they knew when they had to go to this place.

Koda stopped as a smaller dog that he did not recognised greeted him. "Greetings, I'm Artermis. And I may be able to help you with your pack." The she dog smiled. "How so?" Connor spoke, ready in a stance to attack if the foreigner turned aggressive.
"I'm a Shaman, and I right now have a few herbs on paw that may be of use."

"So, what's wrong with you?" Bello demanded, setting the prey down by his paws and staring at the jumpy Irontooth evenly. He had known that Deimos had been hiding something from him and the pack since the outburst when he had been giving patrols. Deimos stood rigidly, his eyes lifting to meet the deputy's.
"You aren't the Alpha, Bello." He said flatly, making Bello's hackles raise. "I don't have to tell you anything."
A growl rumbled in Bello's throat. "I
see."

Ares had just been shooed out of the nursery by Diana when Bello marched into camp, dragging Deimos by the scruff of his neck with a determined and slightly angered look to his face. Anteros, who'd just returned from hunting, stepped out to help his brother but Eros and Nike simultaneously shook their heads. They knew something was wrong. Bello threw Deimos down at Ares's paws.
Deimos scrambled to his paws and snarled at Bello. "You rat-heart!"
"He's the Alpha. Tell us what you've been hiding." Bello growled.
Ares cocked his head, his heart pounding in his chest. "What is troubling you, Deimos?"
Deimos seemed to shrink under the intense gazes of his packmates. Even old Cronus poked his head out of the elder's den to watch the commotion. Athena, who was prepping for her Shadow Walk, also watched in curiosity. So, the Irontooth sat down and kept his eyes glued to the ground. "I went out to the East border this sunrise to try and chase out the loners by myself." He spoke quietly, "But the leader was waiting for me and basically made me swear that the East part of our territory was theirs. That was why I insisted that we not go there."
"And what else?"
"He...he said that if anyone went there to try and take it back he'd kill them."

Mumbles and growls of anger and fear rippled through the assembled dogs and Ares let out a large bark to quiet them. "Nobody is to go to the East until I decide when to. We will deal with these intruders after the gathering at the full moon." He exclaimed, looking at his pack. "As for you, Deimos." He glanced down at the stoic Irontooth, "Your punishment for keeping this to yourself will be decided after Athena's ceremony." He growled down at him and then turned tail towards the nursery, where his beloved Enyo was getting ready to have their pups.

"They're coming, Diana! They're coming!" Enyo exclaimed as another pain shot through her body. She panted and laid her head down on the dirt, her eyes squeezed shut. She smelled Diana's comforting scent hover over her and felt a stick hit her nose.
"Bite down on this." The shaman commanded and Enyo obeyed, grabbing the stick in her jaws. Diana looked down at her with sympathy in her eyes. "Don't worry, Enyo. This will all be done soon."

That night, Athena ran through the woods with only her nose and training to guide her. She could hear the sounds of her mentor and Nike as they scouted the woods behind her. They'll never catch me! The young tenderpaw thought happily as she bounded away into the darkness.

The Northern Stars consume 1 small bird and 3 mice. (5 servings).

The small border patrol return to camp, the ball of attitude quickly dashing off into the caves to find Boss. "Well there he goes!" Wallen growls, rolling his eyes. Nina glares at her brother before taking off to find the red pitbull. Brittany right behind the female shepherd.

"Dad!" the little pup barks, dashing past Charlie and straight into Boss. The male pup leaps onto the unsuspecting male, the two falling to the cave floor with a thud. Surprised, but happy Boss gives the pup a quick nuzzle before sitting back up.

The beta whips around, stunned to see a small pup calling Boss his dad. They looked nothing alike, Boss wasn't capable of being nice... was he? Charlie was going to growl, but pups where kind of her soft spot. Sighing she looked at the ex rouge before speaking. "You have a pup?" she asked.

Nine, Wallen and Brittany step in to the cave with Charlie and Boss just to hear Boss speak. "He's not my real pup, but his mother was a friend of mine. She passed away last winter and I took little Red here in. Since then he's been like my own." Boss explains, gazing thoughtfully at the young pup. Red looks up at Boss, his tail wagging back and forth extremely fast.

Kodiak appears in the cave mouth, curious to why so many where in the cave. The alpha was surprised to hear Boss talk about the pup and to even see a pup. "Guys please excuse me why I speak with Boss and this young pup alone." The pack nods, stepping away into the main cave awaiting to hear from Kodiak.

Once the pack was gone the alpha turned to focus his attention to Boss and Red. "Listen Boss, you have been held prisoner in our pack for many moons now. It's time to decided what to do with you. You and your pup may join our pack. You would be ranked as an Omega until you prove to us we can trust you or we exile you. However if exiled and you are caught on our territory again we will not hesitate to execute you." Kodiak explains firmly.

The large male sits there with the small pup sitting between his front legs. Sighing Boss nods his head, accepting his fate. "I'll join you... But promise me Red will be taken care of like one of the pack pups?" Kodiak nods his head before signaling for the two males to follow him. "Come then." Kodiak explains.

The three dogs pad out to the main cave, the alpha letting out a howl to call the rest of the pack to join them. Dogs wonder out of their caves in the main large cave awaiting to hear what the alpha has to say. "Today we have two new members. Boss and his pup Red shall be joining us. I want you to respect them and give them a chance. Boss will remain as an omega until he can prove his trust to us." This causes Bandit and Charlie to growl in disapproval, angry to be sharing their home with a deviant rouge.Kodiak glares at them, quickly shutting the pair up. "We also have a new irontooth! Korra, my tenderpaw you have worked hard and the ancestors have told me that you will make a great irontooth. Keep up the good work!" he smiles, gently nuzzling his ex tenderpaw. Korra smiles happily thanking her former mentor before joining some of the ironteeth. "Alright, winter months are coming. Lets get out there and stock up on our prey, herbs, and lets check those borders!" Kodiak barks. He then goes off to organize each patrol.

The beta stays behind with Azalea, the pups, and Red to keep an eye on camp. Red quickly takes to Charlie, following her around for the rest of the day. Azalea and her pups play through the caves, inviting Red only to get shot down. Parker takes Eagle out to continue to stock up on their herb storage.

"Hey! You! Have you seen a black and brown dog come by here? Her name is Holly and she wondered off without me again. Knowing her she must have gotten lost or something, but her scent trail leads to here." The male barked at Kai.

Kai growled quietly, unsure what to do in this situation because Holly was back at camp. "Holly is here but you will have to see Alpha first." Kai barked as he thought the words.

Kai found Holly's mate!

Back at the border patrol the group came up towards the border that Boss was taken from. The male paused and looked out towards the forest he came from and just stood there like that for some time. Kodiak watched and was curious if Boss would make a run for it but didn't have to wonder long when Boss continued on with the group, he muttered something inaudible before catching up with the others.

Parker and Eagle find Bindweed, Cobweb and Marigold.
Eagle learns the herb recognition skill.
Bear and June learn the defensive skill.
Rose sprains her paw while trying to learn the defensive skill. She did not learn the skill and will need a moons rest from training.
Bandit, Nina, Wallen and Korra catch two small birds and a hare.
Brittany, Kodiak and Boss' patrol passes uneventfully.

Pack of Olympic Forest

Pie lay in his own hollow, grateful for the binding now encasing his broken leg. He had tried to convince Rowdy that poppy seeds were unnecessary, but the shaman had insisted that a lack of pain helped a wound heal faster. Now, he and Mousie were once again on the herb-hunt trail.

Starkie was furious with Pie. What an absentee father! She never for a minute considered the fact that he'd been forced into this by her, not even when Bramble tried to explain it. Now, her only drive was raising her pups to eventually avenge her.

Bramble went hunting in an effort to cool off, and Pebble and Stitches went with her.

Blue and Briar had gone patrolling to make sure that any dogs passing by would steer clear of the traps. "We need to disarm them," Blue had told Raleigh.

Raleigh, Badger, and Rocky were in camp, brainstorming ways to disarm the traps.

Freya and Jack had also gone hunting. However, midway through the hunt, Jack stopped and took a look at Freya. He'd been crushing on her for some time, but now the winter sun made her even more beautiful. Taking a deep breath, he popped the question. "Freya, will you be my mate?"

Back at the border patrol the group came up towards the border that Boss was taken from. The male paused and looked out towards the forest he came from and just stood there like that for some time. Kodiak watched and was curious if Boss would make a run for it but didn't have to wonder long when Boss continued on with the group, he muttered something inaudible before catching up with the others.

Bear, June, and Rose work hard during training each one trying to out shine the others. However during training Rose sprains her front left paw, letting out a small whimper. "Training will end here... Lets head back to camp." Stone barks. Daisy goes over to her tenderpaw, helping her walk back to camp. Rose let out a huff, annoyed that she messed up and now had to rest. The young dog wanted to keep up her training, now her siblings would beat her.

The border and hunting patrol both return shortly after the training group, each dog a bit exhausted. The dogs mingle among one another in the main cave, sharing stories and jokes. Kodiak excuses himself for a brief moment to console with ancestors about making Slade, Akira, and Norman tenderpaws.

Boss pads over to join Charlie and Red, a bit curious on why the pup had grew fond of Charlie so quickly. "Looks like Red's adopted you has his mom. Means where a family now." Boss jokes, raising an eyebrow at the beta. Charlie rolls her eyes, slightly growling. "In your dreams." she huffed. Red looked from one dog to the next, smirking a bit to himself.

As Charlie and Boss argued a bit Red finally spoke up. "Hey Dad how did I get this scar again?" he asked, his eyes twinkling with mischief. The large dog froze and looked down at his adopted son growling and going to snap at the pup. Before Boss could make a move the beta quickly rose to her paws, snapping at Boss and getting his ear. "That's no wait to treat a pup!" she barked.

Stunned, the large gray dog took a step back, looking down at Red once more. Upon glancing at the pup Boss saw the pup smirk. 'That little punk... this was his plan!' he thought. Shaking his head Boss growled and padded off towards the cave he had been sleeping in. Charlie takes the young pup off to visit some off the older pups, in hopes Red would make some friends.

After resting some dogs become bored and decided to go out once more, forming a larger hunting patrol in hopes to catch a decent amount of prey this time. The hunting patrol now consisted of Thunder, June, Nina, Wallen, Korra, and Daisy. Kodiak and Brittany go out alone for a border patrol. The two sharing stories about their past, and growing closer to one another. The alpha found the new irontooth to be attractive and hoped to ask her to be his mate in a few moons. However he would wait for a bit, wanting to see how things between them actually was.
