Newleaf- An apprentice breaks away from the patrol and jumps over a log, letting out a startled screech when they land in water. The warriors hurry forward to see what the commotion is and are equally shocked to see that the apprentice is standing in water up to their belly. With the snow officially having melted away, all that is left behind is the water that will now flood the territories for most of Newleaf, if not the rest of it. The Clans will be more likely to find water-logged or drowned prey. It's not the freshest but it'll be something.

Stories have been passed down for generations upon generations of cats. All these stories have to start somewhere, right?
While the cats of Legendclan may not exactly be the cats told in myths and nursery tales, they hope they can display the persona of being similar - brave, or chivalrous in their actions. The cats in this clan are seen as very lawful, and very keen on the idea of justice. Perhaps they are a little too chivalrous, punishing even the slightest of wrongs...

The camp that this clan claimed is an abandoned Twoleg castle. The surrounding area is swampy and a dead forest to the north and east, a river area with sparse trees to the west, and a Twoleg settlement to the south. A Twoleg footpath marks the southern edge of the territory.

The ranks of Legendclan are slightly different than a typical clan.

Lotusstar smiled and nodded her head at Blazingstripe as the three-legged cat passed her. He had volunteered for a hunting patrol, so that she could take another patrol. Cherrydroplet, the medicine cat Phoenix had sent her, was already out in the forest, searching for herbs among the recovering plant-life.

It had taken a while for Phoenix to send Cherrydroplet her way, the medicine cat having stopped several times to gather herbs on her way to the burnt forest, bringing in plants from outside the forest. She'd taken the time to dig up the roots, and carry them with her, wanting to try and plant them out in the forest to speed up the regrowth.

Blazingstripe had been with her a little longer, since the patrol she'd taken after speaking with Phoenix. Apparently the three-legged tom had lived on the edge of the forest before the fire, and was trying to come home now that word had reached him that the forest was finally ready to live in again.

At first, the tom had been nervous about joining in her clan, having had bad experiences with groups of cats before. Some cats from a clan called Bearclan had actually been the ones to injure his leg, to the point of when he'd stumbled across a twoleg camp, he could no longer feel his leg (not to mention most of his back) and blood was pouring out of his leg. He hadn't been able to put weight on it, and his whole body felt sore.

The twolegs had panicked, and given him something to make him sleep. He'd woken a few times, but each time the twolegs had fed him the strange pellet and he'd fallen back asleep.

When he finally woke up without being fed pellets, most of his wounds had healed. His leg however, was gone. The twolegs having cut it off.

Understandably, Blazingstripe had been extremely hesitant, but finally, after Lotusstar had convinced him that Phoenixclan's primary goal would be to push peace, and second chances, he had agreed, and she'd given him a new name. His original name had been "Xarig dab ah", which he said meant 'A rope of fire", but he had been willing to change it.

Before living on his own, Blazingstripe had lived with some upwalkers in a hot and dry place, but they had taken him on a strange water-monster, and they had come to a colder and wetter place. Then, they'd left again, and left him behind. So he'd left his house and set out to explore. He'd ended up on an island, which was where the cat called Vipersun had attacked him.

The twolegs who healed him took him even further away, which was how, after he left minus a leg, he'd ended up in the forest. Then the fire had happened and he'd left, and...well, that brought his story back up to the current date.

Cherrydroplet's story was a bit...kinder.

She had been born a wild cat, with the name Cherry. She had lived in a group of nomads, and learned healing from her travel-mates. She'd lived with them most of her life, and even though they weren't a clan proper, they had much of a similar structure. One night, when she was about thirty moons of age, she started having dreams of the dead, who told her things.

Sometimes it would be something small, like where to find the best plants for the season, but sometimes it would be something big, like warning her to avoid going on a patrol because she would be needed to heal the cats when they returned after being attacked by snakes.

About a dozen suns ago, Phoenix had found her way into Cherry's dreams, and told her to travel to the burnt trees, where she could help cats who would have need of her skills. And so, Cherry had left her family, and made her way to the forest.

Lotusstar yawned, ear flicking. It had been a long past few days, but it would be worth it, soon they would have more warriors, enough to patrol and hunt with cats left to rest.

All thanks to Phoenix Lotusstar thought with a small smile. The winged guardian had led her here, and helped her gather the first two cats.

Phoenix had helped her start it, and Phoenix would provide for them.
Phoenix would keep them safe.

All the snow has melted on the territories. It made water dangerous and floods have just started to calm down some now as green leaf approaches. The mud has started to dry up now and the danger of slipping is less possible now that your cats can dig their claws into something. Prey is highly abundant and so are the predators that hunt them and you. It will get ever higher as the days go one, even bringing two legs into the territories as they start to camp.

As you all have may noticed CaC has its very own lineart! The lines were created by the very talented Grey_Hoodie and are being colored in by various other mods, mini mods and the CaC artists. Allowing us to use the lineart for your cats lets us give more unique patterns as we are limited to free to use pictures. If you want your cats to be transferred onto the lineart all you have to do is get in contact with a mod and the team will take care of it.

I have also noticed that a lot of you have not been adding pebbles correctly. Remember, every post you make you get four pebbles automatically. Patrols will sometimes bring back extra pebbles they find as well! Pebbles can be used here at the cac store anytime!

Galalight came to Frostpaw in his dream and explained that it will be hard to learn through the dreams, but she was able to show him how to mend wounds.

When she left though a raven appeared before the tom. It's eyes seemed to pierce through him as it studied him for what left like moons. The unexpected croak it made hod Frostpaw jump. When he did that it dove towards him at a high speed and right before it crashed into him Frostpaw woke up.

sugarcane flopped back into her nest, after a long night. glancing around, she was relieved to see that none of the others were awake. they can never know... she thought. they never could know of her meetings with ryepatch, as he was from evergreenclan. the two cats were from different clans, not to mention enemy clans! they had gone for a long walk this time, hiding in the mists, playing tag. as she drifted off to sleep, she was just conscious of a smile spreading across her face as she pictured his warm, loving gaze.

ridgepelt sat up in her nest. something prodded her in the side. she looked over and saw wolftail looking her dead in the eyes. she wondered what was wrong. she got up, dawn light streaming in from the entrance of the den. all the other cats were clustered around the nursery. then it hit her. tawnyheart's kitting. the dusky brown she-cat had been due any day now. could it really be time? as she entered the nursery, she whipped around and turned to the cat closest, goldenfur.
"get me my raspberry leaves." she mewed urgently. "they are green leaves with jagged edges."
"what are they for?" he asked.
"hard births. i just pray we won't need them." she said, and turned back to the brown queen.

despite his worry for his mate, wolftail still needed to keep his clan strong. sending them out was a way to keep them away from the nursery, at least tawnyheart would have some privacy. looking at the cats, he sent featherstar, owlpaw, flamepelt and sugarcane hunting, and cypressclaw and goldenfur on patrol.

It was a quiet morning in the RavenClan camp. The birds chattered softly above the clearing, the sun bathing the two cats below. Weaselstar and Kitewhisker were lounging lazily, talking casually about anything that jumped to mind. It was peaceful. At least it was, until a loud yowl filled the camp. The leader instantly became alert, eyes snapping to his den, where the sound was coming from. All the tom saw was Marsh skittering out of the entrance, a bewildered look in his eyes. “Get oot!” Droserathorn howled, voice thick with his angry accent “Oot! Oot!” The shaman chased the cat out of the den, a ball of blazing orange fury. His eyes were slits and his lips were drawn back. Marsh ran across the stone ground, only stopping when he was behind Weaselstar, using him as a barrier between him and the enraged cat. Droserathorn stomped out of the den, walking boldly up to where Marsh was hiding. Before he could snap the poor elder in half, Weaselstar faced him calmly. “What happened?” The shaman huffed and began rambling furiously, jumbled words spilling from his mouth incoherently. Marsh swallowed. “What’d you say? I don’t speak angry, son, w-why don’t you jus’ calm down and we can settle it…calmly.” The shaman let out an angry noise and lashed his tail. Weaselstar took a small step forward. “Use your words, Droserathorn.” He urged gently “What happened?” The red tom clenched his jaw and shot daggers at Marsh. “I was just sleepin’, an’ I wake up an’ what do I see?” He growled “This idiot, standin’ over my herbs with a heap o’ soakin’ wet moss! He walked aboot the den spreadin’ water all over the place!” Weaselstar blinked in confusion. Kitewhisker stepped forward now. “What happened?” Droserathorn took a deep breath and calmed down slightly. “He watered my entire herb supply.” He grumbled. Marsh poked out from his hiding spot behind the leader, head lowered and ears pinned back in embarrassment. “They looked dry…” He murmured. This sparked Dorserathorn again. “They’re s’posed to be dry, you bee-brain! Guardian’s sake!” He snapped “They’re in storage! Or they used to be, now I ‘ave to restock everythin’!” Weaselstar brushed against his friend. “I’m sure that’s not true, Droserathorn.” He soothed. Kitewhisker nodded. “It’s starting to get sunny during the day again, just put the salvagable bits out to dry in the sun.” She looked around to see mostly all of the Clan looking with wide eyes at the exchange “Skinknose will help you.” The deputy waved her tail to the small she-cat, who swallowed and made her way nervously over to the hot-headed tom. “It be’er be true, or yer goin’ oot to get me more.” He shot at Marsh, who was looking ashamed of his actions. The shaman turned around, muttering something along the lines of ‘I can’t wait until you’re gone’ before disappearing into his den to assess the unintended damage. Marsh obviously heard his comment, as his usually cheery demeanor suddenly wilted. Weaselstar felt sympathy for their guest, as well as frustration at his shaman for losing his temper so violently. Weaselstar turned to see the elder looking sad, but slowly returning to his usual self. One thing the leader had learned about his visitor was that he was very resilient, always trying his best to please and never giving up if he didn’t succeed in making Wrenpetal laugh at his first story. Weaselstar looked at Kitewhisker and nodded to her. She dipped her head back and retreated to the warriors den, gathering the onlookers for a patrol. Once the camp was quiet again, the leader led the elder quietly into the shade of the looming willow tree that blanketed the apprentice’s den. “I’m so sorry for Droserathorn’s actions.” He sighed after they were settled. Marsh smiled up at him. “Don’ worry ‘bout it! I’ve seen worse.” He added with a wink “Besides, it was kinda dumb of me to try an’ water his herbs. His outburst was understandable.” Weaselstar flashed him a small, nervous smile. “Hey, I, uh, I hate to bring this up now, but uh, w-well, I was just wondering when you did plan on leaving.” The leader said delicately “You know you are welcome for as long as you like, but soon your Clan might start to notice your absence.” Marsh’s smile faltered, but only for a moment. His gaze floated back out onto the clearing. “I’m not sure, son.” He sighed “Things in TwistedClan aren’t goin’ so great n’ I’m not sure if I’m a priority. I don’t wanna impose, but I think I’d be more of use here than there.” His smile widened as he saw Wrenpetal cross from her den to the prey pile. She collected her meal and waved her tail in greeting at the pair, soon returning to her nest inside the nursery. “Besides,” Marsh added “I have to wait until the young’ins are born! I can’t wait to meet ‘em!” Weaselstar looked after Wrenpetal along with him. She was close to kitting, and as a leader, he was ecstatic to meet RavenClan’s first litter of kits. “Me too.” He hummed in agreement. The two sat there in the sun, listening to the birds and slight breeze, eventually dozing off comfortably.

⚜ ⚜ ⚜ ⚜

Agaricthroat padded swiftly next to his friend. Riversnap wasn’t as energetic and was having trouble keeping her eyes open in the warm morning air. The tom nudged her harshly, giving her the final push of awakeness. “What.” She grumbled, sniffing. “Are we not going to discuss the events of this morning?” He whispered excitedly. “What events?” Riversnap echoed, not as interested in the subject as her friend. Agaricthroat scoffed. “Oh, gee, I don’t know, maybe how Droserathorn totally went off on Marsh for no reason.” The she-cat swallowed uncomfortably. “Well, I mean, he may have overreacted, but Marsh did drown some of his herbs.” The tom rolled his eyes. “Right, I forgot you’re in love with him. Makes sense that you would defend him.” Riversnap stopped dead in her tracks, causing the pair to fall further behind the patrol. “What did you just say?” She gasped quietly. Agaricthroat blinked at her knowingly, looking unimpressed. “Oh, please, don’t bother denying it.” He meowed “It’s quite obvious. In fact, I think everyone can tell except for you two.” Riversnap felt a hot redness rise to her cheeks. “I...what?” She blinked “No, that’s not true. He’s a jerk! Totally not my type!” Agaricthroat had a pained look on his face. “I hate to break it to you, darling, but it kind of is. I mean, don’t forget about the whole Rook fiasco.” Riversnap suddenly felt nauseous. “Don’t even start with that.” She groaned “I was stupid then, can’t you understand that?” Agaricthroat shook his head. “Oh, don’t worry, darling, that drama was buried with him. At least in my eyes.” He shook out his pelt. “Anyways, back to the tom at hand.” He sighed “He’s not a bad cat, you could just do so much better.” Riversnap flicked an ear. “Oh yea?” She meowed teasingly “Like who? Weaselstar?” Agaricthroat swallowed, white cheeks turning rosy. “W-Well, he is a strong leader. Kind hearted and warm.” He couldn’t help but let out a dreamy sigh. Riversnap laughed and was about to tease him when Kitewhisker called to them. “Come on, you two!” She meowed firmly “I don’t want anyone lagging behind.” The two looked at each other, trying to obscure their smiles as they trotted swiftly to reunite with their patrol.

The shaman sifted through the dried out leaves and placed them back in their proper spots. Kitewhisker was right, sitting the damp herbs in the sun certainly helped. Of course, there were some completely soaked through, but not enough to make a devastating impact. Skinknose had left him promptly after they were done laying out the savable herbs. He gathered that she didn’t care for him much, but he was indifferent to her feelings. He didn’t mind whether or not someone liked him or hated him, as long as they openly harass or inveigh against him. He just packed away the last bundle when a cat cleared their throat from the archway that led to his den. Droserathorn turned to see who it was only to be met with the hopeful eyes of Marsh. The tom felt instant bitterness spill through him. “What do you want?” He grumbled. Marsh took that as an invitation inside and he struted in happily. “Oh, Droserathorn, no need to be prickly!” He purred “I’ve jus’ come to apologize, tha’s all.” The shaman sat down and raised an eyebrow. “Apologize?” He echoed cooly. Marsh nodded and closed his eyes with a smile. “Yes, I realize that waterin’ yer lil’ plants was a bit rude of me. I shoulda asked first.” The shaman sniffed. “Or just not done it to begin with.” He grumbled. The older cat opened his eyes and his smile fell a tiny bit, but his cheeks were still pushed up by a grin. “Now, son, I’m tryin’ to be nice, here.” He told his companion “You could at least hear me out.” Droserathorn sighed. “Fine. Your apology is heard.” Marsh blinked. “Well, aren’t you going to forgive me?” The shaman furrowed his brow. “Am I supposed to?” He meowed. The elder swallowed, causing the tom to sigh. “Listen,” Droserathorn huffed “I shouldn’t have lost my temper the way I did. Sorry.” Marsh’s smile returned and he wagged his tail slightly. “It’s a’right! We all get a bit angry sometimes. I jus’ wanted to drop by and say I was sorry.” The shaman nodded and rose to his paws, watching as the elder retreated.

Once Marsh left, Weaselstar soon took his place. Droserathorn was now prodding gently at the soil that surrounded the seed Riversnap gave to him. He had planted it immediately when they got back. He was disappointed it hadn’t grown more, but he knew plants took time to reach even the sprouting stage. “So I take it Marsh came by to apologize.” Weaselstar meowed, sitting in the center of the den. Droserathorn have a hum of affirmation before carefully removing pieces of fallen leaves from his soil bed. “And you forgave him, right?” The leader pressed. The shaman didn’t answer. “Did you?” He meowed firmly. Droserathorn just looked to the crack in the ceiling, letting light shower on the planting site. Weaselstar gasped and bounced to his feet. “Droserathorn!” He hissed. The shaman blinked and looked at him with wide eyes. “What?” He meowed. “You can’t just scream at an elder and not accept his apology!” He scolded. “Oh, guardian’s sake, get off my back.” Droserathorn murmured. “No!” The leader squeaked “This is not how we treat guests of our Clan! As a cat in a high position, I expect you to reflect the values of RavenClan. That means not being a big bully to everyone who gets on your nerves.” Weaselstar ended with a huff. He was shaking slightly, clearly nervous and uncomfortable taking a stand against his best friend. Droserathorn tried not to smile at his sincere and, in all honesty, quite adorable speech. He was about to rebuttal when a screech echoed through the stone walls of the den. The two toms exchanged worried glances and Skinknose burst in. “It’s time!” She gasped, out of breath “Wrenpetal’s kits are coming!”
