Rex shouldered the white tom, grinning wide. "You're really coming along, you just need to work on climbing and balance." He complimented, his pelt still brushing against the thin white fur.
The ghostly tom set down his catch, the bright red cardinal harsh against his snowy fur. "Pretty soon, I'll be running Risingclan and you'll be hiding in the dens!" He teased, tail flicking playfully. Rex couldn't help but force a comical frown. Nimbus grinned wide, retorting with his snarky and sassy attitude as always. "Nevermind that, how about you check the borders for any wondering cats? The cliff is starting to get lonely with just the two of us." The white tom offered, casting a sidelong glance at the bigger cat.
He hadn't really thought much about getting more cats, avoiding border patrols until he knew he had to mark the borders. He had just become very comfortable with the tom, the idea of other cats coming along wasn't all that urgent to him. However, he saw that Nimbus was right. "Fine, take your catch back to camp. I'll find you some friends." He teased lightly, turning towards the closest border marker...
Rex had already marked all the border spots, he was now venturing a bit outside of the territory. He followed the river a bit past the rolling hills, catching the scent of a she-cat and a tom. Before he could start tracking, he heard some shouting.
“Leave me alone!” A she-cat’s angry growl rang through the trees.
“You know what’s coming for you!” A tom retorted, hissing.
Rex turned his head towards the voices, coming up on two young cats. He bounded his way in between the two, growling at the tom. “She said to leave her alone.”
The tom flinched, but tried to stand his ground. “This is none of your business!”
Rex took a step towards the tom, his claws out. “I’ve made it my business, and you just need to get out of here.” He sneered.
The tom looked at Rex, then back at the she-cat. “You better watch your step around her.” He offered, leaving the clearing with a dash.
Rex turned towards the she-cat, smiling. “I’m Rex, by the way.”
“I’m Gamma.” Was all she responded with.
“Would you like to come back to my territory? You’ll be safe there.” He offered, taking a slow step towards her.
Gamma nodded, staying pretty much silent.

Rex let out a big sigh as, once again, Gamma's pounce was shaky and unbalanced. "Do you even land on your own two feet?" The bulky tom exclaimed, stomping over to once again adjust her hunting crouch. "I don't see how you survived even a night on your own!" He continued, grumbling to himself.
The small cat grimaced. "Ya know, at least I ain't no flea-bag like yourself! I'll have you know I would of been fine on my own if you hadn't shown up!" She retorted, flicking her tail.
He could help but to let out a laugh. "That rouge would of skinned you if it wasn't for me, you fish-stenched brat!" He let out a playful hiss, sitting back down. "Now, go through the steps for a hunting crouch again." He ordered, watching her as she, again and again, showed her hunting crouch.
