ONE MOON AGO:
Snowstar yawned. he had patrolled the border for the entire day and found nothing of interest. He was about to head back when he heard a faint yelp.

Running towards a nearby bush, he spotted a small brown kit under it. Upon closer inspection, Snowstar could see it was female and was sleeping.

He wrinkled his nose as he smelled her. She smelled of long-legs. A Soft One. Ick. But a kit was a kit, and the Code stated someone had to help any kit. Snowstar gently shook her awake.

The kit froze when she saw Snowstar. "It's okay." he mewed. "I won't hurt you."

Slowly, slowly, the kit padded out from under the bush. "You - you won't?" Snowstar shook his head. "No."

"Could you help me, maybe?" the kit asked, getting braver. "I left my housefolk and I can't get back. I'm looking for a home." A wave of sympathy suddenly washed over Snowstar.

"I cab give you a home, young one." he mewed. "In StemClan. We have a queen, and you could live with her and her two sons."

The she-kits eyes brightened. "Really!? Thanks! My name is Nellie by the way."

Snowstar frowned. "That has to change." he mewed. Nellie frowned. "To what? And why?"

"Because it is not a clan name. Now let's see...how about Nettlekit? It sounds close to your former name."

Nellie nodded. "It sounds wonderful! Thanks, sir!"

"Snowstar. My name is Snowtar."

THIS MOON: (Reedfur's POV)
Reedfur watched as her kits played Cat-in-the-Middle. Nettlekit, who she had also adopted, had just learned and was playing well."Hey Reedfur....could you help me with something?" Reedfur turned to see Whitepelt. The she-cat looked excited. "Me and Ashfall are going to try for kits! Any tips!"

Reedfur purred. Even though Flarekit would be a Trainee in two moons, if Whitepelt was to have kits by then, her kits would have Skykit and Nettlekit to look up to. "That's excellent! I honestly have no tips but be calm." Whitepelt nodded. "Thanks. I have to go train Drizzlepath now, and then hunt later." Reedfur watched the white she-cat get her Trainee and pad away. This would be a good moon.

Weather:

The storm that threatened at the end of new leaf seems to have never made it to the clans territory. Pools of water are starting to shrink in the hot weather and an oncoming drought might be upon the clans. Prey has started to hide in this heat and wont be as abundant with the weather changing but this means that predators are starting to become more active.

Cowpelt seems to be on the mend and just needs a moon of rest.
Bloomseed's wounds has grown infected even with the herbs and now has a fever.
Bloomseed needs feverfew, dried oak leaves and juniper berries.
Rabbitnose finds 2 cobwebs.
Blackpaw, Hailpaw and Stormpaw all passed their assessments and are given the names Blackwing, Hailmask and Stormpetal.
Bramblestep, Whitecoal, Emberstorm and Dustbreeze find the badger! It has moved closer to camp and is a large threat.
Bramblestep, Whitecoal, Emberstorm and Dustbreeze attack the badger with a good strategy and manage to move the badger off toward the borders, no cat has gotten any injuries. However the badger shows signs of coming back, the scent is still strong at the borders.
Hollypaw learns the hunting skill.
Flintpaw learns the battle skill.
Brightpaw learns the hunting skill.
Cloverstep, Greypatch, Blossomberry and Flakeheart caught 2 shrews and 2 mice.
Birdstar, Cinderflight, Flamebelly and Tigertuft went uneventful. However, on the way back to camp Flamebelly stepped on a thorn and it has lodge itself into their paw pad. Some help from Rabbitnose and some rest should be all that is needed.

Leafstar blinked his eyes open blearily and looked about. This wasn't his den, he realized. Bewildered, the sandy brown tabby tom found that he was in the middle of the Pine Grove, the moon and the stars shining brightly above. Warily, the SeaClan leader challenged, "Is it you, Thornstar?" A sleek black-and-gray shape, looking so much like Goshawkflight, stepped forward, dipping his head. "Guilty as charged," the former SeaClan leader mewed, "Leafstar, we've visited you just for one purpose." Leafstar narrowed his eyes and echoed, "We?" Brightstream, Smallwing, Mottledsmoke, and Owlfrost appeared beside Thornstar, sitting down comfortably in front of the stunned tabby tom. Brightstream, Leafstar's first deputy, meowed warmly, "Greetings, Leafstar, it has been a while." Smallwing dipped his head, meowing, "We've been waiting to meet you for some time." Mottledsmoke remarked dryly, "It seems you don't look so pleased though, Leafstar." Owlfrost concluded solemnly, "You know why we brought you here."

Leafstar meowed, unsheathing his claws in anger, "What would StarClan cats have to do with me? All you want is your precious peace, with no care in the world for the lives being taken away." Mottledsmoke snarled, her tortoiseshell fur bristling, "We didn't want to die, did we? We didn't ask to be killed for some glorious purpose, did we?" Smallwing glanced at his angered companion and meowed gently, "Now, Mottledsmoke, that's enough." The black-and-white tom turned his gaze to the SeaClan leader and replied calmly, "It's true, all StarClan wants to do is observing the living above and advise when we can. But we don't want peace, nor do we want war." Owlfrost nodded, continuing, "You look confused, Leafstar, but you shouldn't be. The Clans are meant to be separate, proud entities that can coexist with neighboring Clans, or go to war with them, all of their own free will. We can't say ye or nay to any decisions the Clans make, and we wouldn't, even if we could." Brightstream soothed, "I know you've been through so much, Leafstar, and I am honored to have served as your deputy for many moons. But please," she pleaded, "please remember that StarClan are here to advise, not to rule. You were chosen as SeaClan's leader for a reason, and that reason is because you were meant to lead SeaClan. Not us StarClan."

Leafstar stared at the cats who had died at the Battle Against Crows for a few moments more before meowing slowly, "So... so you don't want war, but you don't want peace. And..." he swallowed as Thornstar nodded, "the Clans were meant to do what they do, as long as we follow and live by the warrior code." Thornstar nodded, "Right again." The sandy brown tabby tom took a deep breath and meowed gratefully, "That... that cleared a lot of things up. Thank you for clarifying." Before any of the starry cats could reply, Leafstar added firmly, "and for putting me back on the right path. It was wrong," he admitted, lowering his head in shame, "to have blamed you, to have believed that you were in the wrong, when it was I who made mistakes and didn't want to admit the truth." Leafstar dipped his head again toward the StarClan cats as he murmured, "Thank you, I've made my peace. Now, be at peace," he added quietly, nodding toward the spirits of those who had died during the battle, "all of you." Brightstream dipped her head, mewing, "May StarClan light your path, Leafstar." The sandy brown tabby tom closed his eyes as the starry cats faded away, and opened them again, only to find himself in his own chamber, back in his camp. The SeaClan leader smiled faintly, satisfied. His faith in his ancestors had been restored. All was well.

On coming back from his fishing patrol, the SeaClan leader found himself looking at a somewhat familiar face. The gray-and-white leader of ElmClan, whose pelt was crisscrossed with scars, dipped his head, his tail still wrapped protectively around another cat, who seemed to be his mate. "Hailstar," Leafstar meowed, shocked, "what happened? You and your mate are so far away from your Clan..." Hailstar meowed, glancing at his mate, whose belly looked swollen, "ElmClan is no more, Leafstar." "No more?" echoed Leafstar, shock on his face, the cats with him also staring at the former leader of ElmClan with shock, "what happened?" Hailstar took a deep breath and replied, "Toward the end, ElmClan wasn't faring too well. There were deaths, famine, you name it. I sent five of my bravest Clanmates to search for a new home, and when they found it, they had my blessing, and StarClan's blessing, to start anew." Swallowing, he mewed, "Back home, that leafbare was the last straw. As leader, I had to make the hardest decision in my life. I disbanded ElmClan of my own accord, and forced everyone to scatter to the four winds. I myself took my mate, Thistlesnow, and traveled to your Clan," he explained, glancing at his pregnant mate, "because I know that you are a fair-minded leader, Leafstar, and that you would take both of us in." Leafstar meowed, "But you'd have-" "No I don't," the former ElmClan leader interrupted, shaking his head, "I lost all but my last life defending myself against rogues and predators along the way. It seems that StarClan meant for me to join your Clan the proper way, as a warrior, and not as a former leader." Nodding slowly, Leafstar meowed, "Follow me to my den, I'm sure you have much more to tell me." Turning to Claypool, he meowed, "Quick, find Carrotfur and bring him to me." The Siberian tom nodded and rushed out of the camp. Turning to Daisysong, the SeaClan leader ordered, "Escort Thistlesnow to the nursery please, while we discuss things with Hailstar, including name changes." The ginger-and-white she-cat nodded and led the grateful-looking queen to the nursery. Turning to Hailstar, Leafstar concluded, "Come, follow me." Nodding, the gray-and-white tom complied as the sandy brown tabby tom led him down the tunnel to his den.

<Sometime later>
Leafstar called, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey meet here, underneath the Meeting Ledge, for a Clan meeting!" The cats of SeaClan came together to hear what news their leader had to share, even though many knew there were two new cats among their midst already. The sandy brown tabby tom meowed grimly, "Cats of SeaClan! Today, I am here, with heavy heart, to announce that another of the Clans of the wild, ElmClan, has disbanded. Its last two members, Hailstar and Thistlesnow, have come from far away to join our Clan- step forward please." At the mention of the -star name, many a cat stared as Hailstar, a longhaired gray-and-white tom, stepped forward into the middle of the clearing, followed by the slow steps of Thistlesnow, his mate. Leafstar bowed his head solemnly, meowing, "SeaClan will never forget ElmClan, nor the cats who made up the Clan." Hailstar dipped his head as well, meowing, "Thank you, Leafstar. I, Hailstar, former leader of ElmClan, am grateful for taking my mate and myself in after these troubling events. And so," he added, swallowing, "as I am no longer a leader, I would like to go by the name Hailcloud. It's something I've fashioned for myself, really," he added with a slight chuckle, "a warrior name I could have had if I'd been born to a Clan." Leafstar nodded in approval, as several cats in the crowd nodded with understanding as well. Turning to Thistlesnow, Leafstar continued, "Thistlesnow, as we already have a Thistletuft in our Clan, it is best advised to change your name upon joining our Clan- is this all right with you?" The brown tabby queen nodded, meowing, "That is fine with me, Leafstar. This is your Clan, after all." The sandy brown tabby tom nodded in acknowledgement and meowed solemnly, "Then we will continue with the ceremon-" before he could finish, however, a small commotion in the entrance to the camp alerted the SeaClan leader.

Carrotfur was the first to report to his leader what was happening. The ginger-and-white deputy meowed brightly, "Leafstar, your request at the Moonpool has been granted! Look, this is Pine," he explained, showing the brown tabby tom behind him to the rest of the Clan, "and he claims he's had dreams of starry cats urging him to find the cats of the sea." Leafstar smiled warmly, meowing, "We have been blessed this moon, it seems. Welcome," he meowed formally, dipping his head from his high perch on the Meeting Ledge, "I am Leafstar, leader of SeaClan. Welcome to our Clan." The loner tom stepped forward hesitantly, but meowed calmly, "My name is Pine, and as Carrotfur has told you, I was told by cats with stars in their pelts to seek 'SeaClan'. I knew you were the right cats, as my family has always called the Great Waters 'the sea' as well." Leafstar's smile grew wider as the SeaClan leader replied, "That's great news, Pine. We are honored to have you as a member of our Clan. However," he meowed firmly, "as it is tradition of the warrior Clans under StarClan, we ask that any cat joining our Clan must renounce your old ways and take on a proper Clan name." Pine blinked for a few moments before nodding slowly, meowing, "I understand, Leafstar." The sandy brown tabby tom nodded, "Thank you."

Turning back to Hailstar and Thistlesnow, Leafstar meowed, "We will continue with these cats' ceremonies first, as planned, before we proceed with Pine's." Seeing Pine's nod of acknowledgement, the sandy brown tabby tom looked up to the cave ceiling and intoned solemnly, "I, Leafstar, leader of SeaClan, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down on these cats. They have come from a faraway Clan that has since disbanded, and have expressed the desire to join our Clan with every intention to continue to follow and live by your noble code." Taking a deep breath, he turned to Hailstar, and asked, "Hailstar, former leader of ElmClan, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to defend and protect SeaClan, even at the cost of your life?" The longhaired gray-and-white tom's meow was steadfast as he replied, "I do." "Then," Leafstar continued, "by the power of StarClan I give you your new name. From this day forth, you shall be known as Hailcloud. StarClan honors your determination and dedication to the code, and we welcome you as a full member of SeaClan." The SeaClan leader then leapt down and laid his muzzle on the former ElmClan leader's head. The gray-and-white tom licked his shoulder in return. Leafstar then leapt up to the Meeting Ledge once more, and meowed, "Thistlesnow, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to defend and protect SeaClan, even at the cost of your life?" The former ElmClan queen nodded, "I do." "Then," Leafstar meowed, looking directly at the brown tabby she-cat, "by the power of StarClan, I give you your new name. From this day forth, you shall be known as Fritillarytail. StarClan honors your courage and dedication to the code, and we welcome you as a full member of SeaClan." Again, Leafstar leapt down, this time to lay his muzzle on Fritillarytail's head. The newly-named queen licked his shoulder respectfully in turn before stepping back. Leafstar leapt back onto the Meeting Ledge and looked at Pine, the newest arrival to the Clan.

Leafstar then intoned, looking up to the cave ceiling once more, "I, Leafstar, leader of SeaClan, call upon our warrior ancestors to look down on this cat. He has traveled far and wide in search of our Clan when some of your members showed him the way to come in his dreams, and wishes to learn of your noble code." Taking a deep breath, the sandy brown tabby continued, "Pine, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to defend and protect the Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Pine replied steadily, "I do." "Then," Leafstar meowed, noting his calmness, "by the power of StarClan I give you your warrior name. From this day forth, you shall be known as Pinefoot. StarClan honors your steadfastness and curiosity, and we welcome you as a full member of SeaClan." For the third time, the SeaClan leader leapt down, this time to rest his muzzle on Pinefoot's head. Having seen what the other two cats had done, Pinefoot licked Leafstar's shoulder respectfully before stepping back.

The whole of SeaClan roared, "Hailcloud! Fritillarytail! Pinefoot! Hailcloud! Fritillarytail! Pinefoot!"

[ Hailstar, former leader of ElmClan, arrives in SeaClan bearing many scars. On questioning, he fended his mate and himself against many a predator and rogue, losing all but one of his lives. On joining SeaClan, he requests to be known as 'Hailcloud', and joins as a warrior. ]
[ Hailstar/cloud's mate, Thistlesnow, joins as well, taking the name Fritillarytail upon joining. She is a queen, due in one moon. ]
[ Having traveled to SeaClan to follow StarClan's wishes, Pine, a former rogue, joins SeaClan, taking the warrior name Pinefoot. ]
[ Daisysong teaches Boompaw the Combat skill. ]
[Stormbreeze and Ivynose teach Jadepaw and Cliffpaw the Combat skill. ]
[ Carrotfur teaches Cardinalpaw the Tracking skill. ]
[ Leafstar teaches Swiftpaw the Fishing skill. ]

spring has arrived in the clans, and life is prospering. the first whisper of this thriving season came from the small flower
buds bursting from every treetop. prey poked their heads out from their burrows, feeling a gentle breeze for the first time
in moons. prey will be higher due to this. as the cold temperature slowly rises, kittings will go much smoother, and the chances
of death by childbirth or being stillborn have drastically went down. along with the departure of freezing winds and chilling
snow, kittencough, whitecough, or greencough are highly uncommon in newleaf. however, with the heat rising, the remnants
of snow are beginning to melt, causing floods everywhere. storms will contribute to these, and due to this, more cats will
want to join your clan to avoid the bad weather.

(This is my second clan I'm starting and I'd prefer a mod who fan do longer replies for it)
PlatjaClan
PlatjaClan is a clan that lives under a boardwalk of an abandoned beach. However, twolegs still come to do research on turtles. Where they live is always humid during the Newleaf and Greenleaf months, and they have to deal with natural disasters such as tropical storms, which may strengthen into hurricanes. Due to the hot and humid weather, they mostly have lighter, short fur. They do enjoy swimming in the ocean (when red tide is not effect). If they go swimming during it, they can die from the poison that causes it. Since the clan loves to swim, they have webbed paws to help with their skill. They hunt in the grass and sand and even catch minnows in the ocean on occasion.
Since they can’t drink the ocean water, they have a small pond that fills up with rain, and they use it as their main water source. During hurricane season, the pond usually fills up with salt water instead of fresh water, so they have a barrel that was washed up on the beach and they use that for a water source. Sometimes the clan will steal water from twolegs that live on the edge of their territory, to make sure they have enough water during the dry season. Some unique traditions they have are that when the kits are old enough to walk, they are taught to swim in tide pools and once they are strong enough, they progress towards deeper water, eventually learning to swim in the ocean’s water. Another tradition is catching a non-venomous snake as their warrior assessment.

ciaróg leaped down to the waterfall, he knew he was going to get into trouble for leaving camp so he wanted to make the most out of it. he had heard a lot about the waterfall from airgead and wanted to see what it really looked like. he had tried to convince ádh to come with him but she was too tired to go.

he bent his head down lapping at the cool water. once he was done he sat down staring at the waterfall. he loved the beauty but there was something unsettling about the area. something he couldn't pinpoint. he glanced around, spotting a pair of eyes shining through a bush behind him. he curiously stood up and took a step forward not realizing the danger. that's when a cat leapt out from the bush, knocking ciaróg to the ground.

"mouse-brained kit." the cat meowed, shaking its head. ciaróg stared up at the cat, fear in his eyes as he tried to wiggle out from its grip. the cat purred before slashing his throat and throwing his body into the water. the cat rubbed some blood on a jagged rock before washing its paws and leaving, satisfied with the kill.

Weather - Green-Leaf
Summer. Summer starts with little warning.
One day, intense rain falls cover the clans' lands, and the
next, the sun blazes down on them instead.
The sudden brightness quickly dries up the puddles and
flooding that many clans have encountered, but the extent
of them means some floods can still be found.
Additionally, the sudden brilliant heat means that forest
fires are beginning to break out among the hotter clans.
Of course, some days are still colder than others, but for
most, the sun is certainly proving its fiery reputation.
Prey can feel the heat too, and fortunately, most clans
send out their patrols in mornings and evenings, the only
time that the prey can bear during the day.
Some mothers might be exhausted by the heat, but certainly
their kittings should still be faring well for a while.

*I checked a load of them and the only thing I could find with an f- or th- type sound with storm was fang. Some other options I like, I think could fit personality wise, and have that sound are Stormthorn, Stormfrost, and Stormthaw. I just really like the Stormf sound there and it sort of just stuck in my head... Stormflower is also free.
