Neptune's final Bubble finished off the opposing Venonat. But as Eva's first partner pokémon landed on his feet once more, about to gloat over his victory to Marigold, the little Froakie's body began to glow a blue color. “Froa?” Neptune croaked, confused, just as his limbs began to stretch out and his neck 'frubbles' extended in length.

"Hey, your pokémon... I think he's evolving!" the other trainer called. "Congratulations!" He returned his Venonat to its ball, and sent out his final battler, a Smoochum.

“No way,” Eva gasped, before running onto the battlefield. She scooped up her starter into a hug, shaking the now-lanky Frogadier back and forth in her excitement. “You evolved, Neptune!”

“Dier? Frog-frog!” Neptune chirped in reply, wrapping his webbed arms around the trainer's shoulders and smirking proudly down at Marigold. The Eevee stuck out her tongue, tail swishing back and forth, before scampering onto the battlefield herself. The opposing Smoochum bounced from side to side, excited to battle this new opponent (and perhaps relieved to not be battling the Frogadier).

"Vui..." Marigold cooed, the fox pokémon batting her lashes in what must be Baby-Doll Eyes. At the sounds, Eva shook herself, and hurried off of the battlefield to give her pokémon a command.

“Sorry about that,” Eva called to the other trainer, apologetically. He waved it off in understanding, and she smiled, thankful. “Marigold, try using Covet!”

I whisper something to Rocky, who starts to dart after the Tyrogue and sneakily trips it with his tail. I step up to the grunt. "What do you think your doing to that poor Ponyta?!" I say angerly, knowing full well that pokemon shouldn't be treated with such disgrace and cruelity.

the grunts pokemon narrows its
eyes, and before its trainer answers,
it attacks rocky.

it uses tackle, but rocky is quick
to dodge it.

it looks like this is brewing into a
pokemon battle, and rocky awaits
for your command, while ponyta
is comforted by your other pokemon.

night, but thankfully the tent was
water proof and you and your pokemon
stayed cozy.

a wild pokemon saw the structure, and
being a fire type, it wasn't healthy being
exposed to so much rain.

the pokemon ran into your tent to
lay in the corner, finally resting
peacefully.

it's a wild, and sleeping, ponyta.

The rain pattered down on the tents roof. Marron enjoyed the sound, but ignis did not.
"Charrr...." He whined, not able to sleep.
"Its allright were inside a tent the rain can get us." She comforted her charmaner. Maroon sliped out of her sleeping bag and was tucking ignis in, when she noticed a ponyta sleeping in the corner.
"Oh my." She said. It was shivering from the rain and the cold. Maroon unzipped her sleeping bag and put it over the wild pokemon. She cuddled with her pokemon and went back to sleep to the soft sound of the rain.

Marigold gladly leaped into action, slamming into the Smoochum with Covet. The impact knocked the poor pink pokémon off-balance. The Smoochum stumbled, falling flat on its face before it could make a move. "Vee!" Eva's Eevee barked, excited at her success. With a huff, the Smoochum scrabbled back up to its feet and leered at Marigold, still upset over having flinched.

“Excellent work, Marigold,” Eva cheered, Neptune still by her side. Her Eevee's ears twitched in pleased recognition. “You evolved, Neptune!”

“Frog!” Neptune chimed in, making a punching motion with his webbed hands. His message was clear: Do your best!

“I wonder, what might work well against Smoochum?” the trainer thought aloud. Smoochum's trainer, alerted by Eva's mention of his pokémon, instructed his partner to use Ice Beam to strike back at the Eevee.

"Smoochum, smooch," the ice-type called, readying the attack.

“See if you can hit first! Go for Quick Attack!”

Firewrath, thinking light on her feet, scours the room, under the beds, in the bathroom, and closet. She finally finds something that would help the poor Riolu, a revive. She takes it over to the Gogoat then sets it at the Pokemons feet. "Torchic..." she chirps, saying that the revive should help it's companion.

Alpha gathers up his courage and opens the door once more. "Firewrath, are you okay?" He asks his starter pokemon, who looks back at him and nods. He soon notices the fainted Riolu then steps inside cautiously before saying to the Gogoat,"So thats why you were so mad? Here, let me help you out, if that's okay."

Firewrath nods to the Gogoat, saying the Alpha is her trainer and friend and he wouldn't hurt either of them.

grookey snapped out of his confusion
and used branch poke, landing a critical
hit and taking out the pokemon.

he levelled up to level 11 for beating
a higher-level pokemon.

you won the battle!

"hm, good battle, but I'll get you next
time" the trainer said, before running
off to heal their pokemon.

Terra watched the trainer run off before she could even respond to him "Are all the trainers gonna be like that?" she muttered and shook her head before looking at Mojo "Great Job! I knew you could do it!" She grinned and walked over towards him. She lowered her arm and the grookey climbed up it until he was back on his spot on her shoulder "Y'know what, I have another shoulder so maybe it's time to let Kenna stay out of her pokeball and travel with us" She said to Mojo but she was more talking to herself. "Groo-Grookey" The Grookey let out an agreement and Terra let Kenna out of the pokeball. The salandit looked confused and then stared up at Terra "You did a great job Kenna. So I was thinking because you're part of the team, you shouldn't have to be trapped inside your pokeball while we travel" she stated and Kenna let out a happy "Salandit!" before crawling up onto Terra's open shoulder. Now with both of her pokemon on her shoulders, Terra continued on down the route.
