after accidentally tumbling into a thorn bush and will need one moon of rest and x1 cobweb.

Hunting (Nightfall's patrol); Nightfall's patrol catches x2 small fish! Spacejam ended up falling into the river, but
managed to climb out. Spacejam was fine, aside from developing a chill, which will require one moon of rest.

Hunting (Sunspot's patrol); Sunspot's patrol successfully snuck into the enemy clan and managed to steal x1 ragweed
and x1 lizard.

Hunting (Rainstorm's patrol); Rainstorm's patrol catches x2 big fish!

Patrolling (Mothbillow): Mothbillow's patrol ended early as a territorial fox attacked the patrol. While the clan cats
chased the fox away, Acorntuft received a deep bite on their shoulder and will require two moons of rest, x1 cobweb, and
x1 poppy seed. Mothbillow received a severe cut which would not stop bleeding, and will need two moons of rest, x1
cobweb, and x1 marigold.

Tamerackpaw managed to learn battle this moon, but unfortunately, tragedy struck. She and Lionstrider were practicing battle,
when Lionstrider immediately stopped, alert and cautious. Tamerackpaw stopped to, but her eyes widened as she noticed the
figure of a wolf slowly walk through the brush towards the pair. Lionstrider's hackles rose, and he immediately screamed at his
apprentice to run. A young warrior and an apprentice were in no means capable of beating a wolf on their own. Tamerackpaw began to run, with Lionstrider following. Due to her mentor's longer legs, he passed her, and only realized something was wrong
when he heard an 'oof' and looked back. Tamerackpaw had tripped, and the wolf was looming over her. Lionstrider could do
nothing as the wolf killed his apprentice...
Owlpaw failed to learn climbing after slipping off of a tree branch and falling to the ground, causing a concussion. He will need
two moons of rest and x1 dandelion.
Turtlepawand Dawnpaw both pass their assessments and are now full warriors of Lilyclan!

“ “We’ll talk to Harestar, we’ll wait for you two to be ready to take your assessments.” Splashpaw's littermates had taken over the medicine den, crowding around Splashpaw’s temporary nest there. Eyes widening, Splashpaw shook her head, mewing, “You can’t! We’ve been waiting for so long for this, you have to take your assessments!” “Alderpaw still has to learn to swim though!” Toadpaw shot the mackerel tabby a mischievous glance followed by the tom in question sticking out his tongue at his brother. Laurelpaw silenced the pair with a look before her gaze flickered back to Splashpaw. “Toadpaw and I are fine going on patrols or helping out the new apprentices while you recover and Alderpaw learns to swim.” Toadpaw nodded, mewing, “We couldn’t become warriors without you two.” Splashpaw blinked, her eyes softening at her siblings. “You really want to wait?” Alderpaw grinned at her, mewing, “Of course we do.” Splashpaw rolled her eyes, shoving him gently with a paw. “Go take a swim, Alderpaw!” Alderpaw purred, amusement flashing in his gaze. “Thank you guys,” Splashpaw murmured. “Of course! That’s what littermates do.” Laurelpaw purred warmly. "Then in that case, the four of us will be the loudest ones cheering for our friends if they pass their assessments, alright?" Splashpaw purred at the excited looks her littermates exchanged. "They're going out soon, we can go tell them good luck before they leave." Alderpaw suggested,

“This is daisy right?” The newly named apprentice touched the leaves with a gentle paw, glancing up at Cloudpool as she did. “This is what you used to help treat Echopaw right?” Cloudpool’s eyes gleamed with pride and he nodded. “Good work Mosspaw, you’re learning fast. Daisy leaves help ease pain and I also used burnet to stop the bleeding.” “Burnet for bleeding.” Mosspaw echoed to herself, green eyes narrowing with concentration as Cloudpool pointed out the burnet leaves. Cloudpool gave her a few moments to commit the herbs to memory before leading her to Echopaw’s nest to check on the black and white apprentice. “How are you doing Echopaw?” He asked, sniffing at the cut on her foot. “I just want to get back to training. Moonpaw’s ahead and I cannot let her get ahead!” Cloudpool’s eyes flashed with amusement. “Try not to worry, resting is good for your paw and once it’s fully healed, you’ll be training in no time.” Cloudpool stepped back, signaling to Mosspaw to come closer with a flick of his paw. “I’m going to have Mosspaw take a quick look at your paw, alright Echopaw?” Echopaw huffed but nodded, stretching out her right paw for the medicine cats. As he watched the gray apprentice examine Echopaw’s cut, a burst of pride flickered through Cloudpool’s chest. Was this how Shadedleaf had felt when he’d been her apprentice? “How does her paw look?” He prompted, at Mosspaw’s nervous glance at his daughter. “Better, I think? It isn’t bleeding and she hasn’t complained of much pain.” Cloudpool nodded, eyes gleaming. A good start to her training. “Good work Mosspaw. She’s beginning to heal well but we’re going to have to keep a close eye on her to be sure it doesn’t get infected.” “Echopaw!” A cheerful mew drew all three cats' attention to the den entrance where Moonpaw and Dappleleaf slipped in and as they greeted Echopaw, Cloudpool drew Mosspaw to the side. “Dappleleaf and Moonpaw will keep Echopaw company while we’re out training, but later, we’ll keep an eye on her, Minkflutter, and Splashpaw. All three are healing well but not being able to do their warrior duties is not easy. Echopaw in particular will need us to keep a close eye on her. That scratch was pretty nasty and she does not need to put any weight on it.” Mosspaw nodded, hopping enthusiastically. It was odd not to be out training with her littermates and cousins, but this would be worth it. She hadn’t been an apprentice for long but already, she was learning things her siblings would never know. Learning to help through herbs and healing.

ribbon spots another snake and goes for it, but it bites them and flees. ribbon thinks little of it, only disappointed that they failed to catch it, and doesn't bring it up to their patrolmates out of embarrassment. this was a bad decision, as they fall ill shortly after returning to camp and die of the venomous snake bite...(again, assume this happens before honeypaw's training session. honeypaw is Going Thru It) honeypaw, having spent so long around their mentor, needs (in addition to the wound herbs) one goatweed or (appropriately) one honey to cope with their grief.

✏ shrewpelt's patrol goes smoothly and uneventfully until the wind abruptly picks up, launching a piece of driftwood through the air. most of the patrol manages to avoid it, but honeypaw is not so lucky, and the driftwood slams into their back, winding them and giving them a nasty bleeding wound. they need one moon of rest and two of any of the following before they can return to their aprentice duties (assume this happens after their training lol): blackberry leaves, broom, burnet, chamomile, cob nuts, cobwebs, comfrey root, daisy leaves, dandelion, dock leaves, elder leaves, goldenrod, heather nectar, honey, horsetail, lamb’s ear, lavender, mallow leaves, marigold, or moss.

Basil was curled next to Doefern as the Healer took an immediate liking to the young cat. Doefern was a great Healer, always so caring of her clan mates. Isopodstar watched the pair, his eyes slits. He turned back and was met face-to-face with Badgerbite. The black and white cats stared at each other for a few moments, amber eyes meeting green. "Can we talk?" Badgerbite asked. Isopodstar nodded hesitantly. Badgerbite never liked him, and he never liked Badgerbite. If worse came to worse, Isopodstar had nine lives. Badgerbite had one. The muscular Fighter led the way out of camp, and Isopodstar's gaunt figure followed. Before long, the oriental and the Fighter sat side by side, watching the sunset through the tree line. "What's the matter, Badgerbite?" Isopodstar asked, not meeting Badgerbite's eyes. The Fighter huffed, "I don't understand you, Isopodstar." The Idol's name rolled off his tongue like venom, "Why bother with this facade?" Isopodstar looked startled, "Facade?" Badgerbite faced the Idol with a slight snarl, "There is something rotten within you. I know it." Isopodstar laughed it off, "Badgerbite, your paranoia is getting to you. Our ancestors chose me. Are you disregarding their words for your foolish fantasies?" Badgerbite snickered, "Maybe they were wrong. I guess our ancestors can't see past your persona." Isopodstar's hackles started rising: "They gave me nine lives for a reason. They entrusted me to hold this clan together. And you dare disrespect them? The family is thriving, Badgerbite." The Fighter jeered, "Our family? We aren't a family. We are a clan that has to rely on each other to survive." Isopodstar's amber eyes seemed to burn into Badgerbite, "Go back to camp, Badgerbite. I don't tolerate nonsense." Badgerbite gave Isopodstar one final look before turning and walking towards the camp. The oriental sat still, watching his clan mate walk away.

Murklight was smiling as Juniperthroat walked towards him. As much as the cream tabby didn't want to admit it, he appreciated the younger tom's company. Jumiperthroat settled down next to Murklight and let out a yawn, blinking slowly. "Hey, Juniperthroat!" Murklight greeted. Juniperthroat dipped his head in greeting, and the younger tom looked towards the direction of the nursery, where Cedarspeckle and Graveldust were chatting as their kits played with each other. Murklight seemed envious, and Juniperthroat spoke, "Do you want kits?" Murklight seemed a bit shocked at the suddenness but dipped his head. "Yeah. I've always wanted kits. I had no siblings as a kit, so I want to feel what it's like to have a whole family. What about you, Juniperthroat?" At this, the scarred tabby stiffened, and Murklight quickly spoke again, "You don't have to answer if you don't want to, it's alright." Juniperthroat blinked gratefully before clearing his throat, "I had a family once, a long time ago. I'm not too sure if I want kits." Juniperthroat remembered how it felt to grow up in an area full of blood and rage. "But maybe I do. They'd have a much better kithood than I did." He laughed softly, grateful Squidclan was nothing like his old home. Murklight smiled, looking at the setting sun. "Thanks for bringing me to Squidclan, Juniperthroat." The cream tom scoffed playfully, "I didn't bring you. Isopodstar did after he saw you bother me the entire patrol." At this, Murklight rolled his eyes, "And now I can bother you here." He laughed, and Juniperthroat started to purr, something he had not done in a very long time.

Wrenspark looked as Honeypaw began to put her front paws on the tree's base. She looked back at him with wide, anxious eyes, "Are you sure I have to learn climbing? I mean, we live on a beach." Wrenspark chuckled, "We do. In case anything happens to our usual prey, our climbing skills will prove useful in the forest." Honeypaw nodded and turned back to the tree, gulping. She lifted one of her paws before hooking her claws onto the bark. Honeypaw was determined not to let go and slowly climbed, one paw in front of the other. Wrenspark looked up proudly at her as she carefully climbed the tree, not wanting to cheer her on due to the possibility of the cheering distracting Honeypaw. “ “O-Oatwhisker?” Fawneyes was wary as she approached the fawn tom, who narrowed his eyes as she approached. “Do you need something?” He asked, cool and disinterested. At least he wasn’t being outright rude like usual, Fawneyes realized, fighting off the urge to flinch. Ivyshell had told her not to appear nervous around him, to pretend as if she was fearless. Maybe it was working? “Sagestar ordered us to go out on patrol with Sootstorm and Moonblink.” She flicked her tail towards one of their sagebrush dens where Sootblink emerged with the pretty black and white molly close behind. Oatwhisker frowned but didn’t protest as they padded over to join them, choosing instead to ignore Fawneyes. The chocolate molly blinked, startled. This type of behavior from the tom who never hesitated to disguise his dislike for her. Fawneyes didn’t understand but perhaps it had something to do with the conversation he’d had with Lightningbug a few moons ago. She’d forgotten all about it but thinking about it now, Fawneyes realized that Oatwhisker’s behavior towards her had shifted since then. Lately, he’d either flat out avoided and ignored her or he treated her with that cool indifference. Fawneyes wasn’t quite sure whether to be relieved or more nervous around the tom. “Alright, we’re on hunting patrol.” Sootstorm told them when he and Moonblink were closer. As Moonblink greeted them with a cheerful nod, Sootstom mewed, “Ready?” Oatwhisker and Fawneyes nodded but before the patrol could leave, before any of the patrols could leave, Sagestar slipped out of her den made from an alcove in the canyon walls to perch on a tree limb that she’d been using for clan meetings recently.
Her call had the clan gathering below, murmuring curiously among each other. As they settled in, Sagestar waited a moment for them to quiet down before her mint gaze sought out the cat she’d chosen. Eyes gleaming, Sagestar began, her voice just loud enough for the clan to hear her. “I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of Pinyonclan is Sootstorm.” For a brief moment there was silence before the clan erupted into cheers, congratulating the stunned new deputy. Even Lightningbug, who Sagestar knew had been hoping for the role, set aside his disappointment to wholeheartedly congratulate the new deputy. Sootstorm’s apprentice, Mistlepaw, exchanged eager glances with Flynn and even from her perch on the branch, Sagestar smiled, shaking her head at the apprentice’s eager boasting. “I’ll be the deputy one day too!” Mistlepaw breathed. “And I’ll be the clan leader!” Flynn proclaimed, puffing out his chest proudly. “No way! Flynnstar? That’s ridiculous!” As the apprentices began bickering, Sandsplash shot them a disapproving look and Sagestar’s amusement only grew. She dismissed the meeting with a small flick of her tail, allowing the patrols to go out, pleased that the ceremony had gone so well.
